freshtestimony: I can't say for the price difference but airfrance is Bae, even in Paris they didn't ask for the fit to fly. But it's good to always get prepared and then go spoil you inside airplane as they kept telling me to stroll inside the plane and gave me enough fruit juice and water True they don't ask for fit to fly but their baby allowance is 10kg compared to most airlines that is 23kg Also they are strict with bag allowance unlike BA. Can't forget all my overweight bags and extra bags that BA carried for free for me |

isysleek: Good afternoon all,
Please those who renewed visa thru Dropbox and called for interview, what documents did you take along for the interview?
I have been informed by the embassy that I have to come for interview. I know I am to take all receipts for my daughter's birth. Please what else do I need to take along?
Thanks. All you would have taken for an interview if you did not have the drop box option in the first place Good luck |

justwise: Sometimes I struggle to see the real benefit of the whole child project.
It takes a long time for the child or the parents to start reaping the benefits of being an American and a lot can happen between that time. I don't know think it's for the parents to become us citizens. At least not in my case. I have a fantastic job here so does my husband we don't dream about relocating It's all about giving the child options - chance to travel the world without a visa, chance to good health care, education, an alternate live if he or she wants. In summary a world of possibilities |

Atdor: Gud day everyone. Pls I would need ur advice. For the past few weeks now have being calling virtually all the nos of hospital n doctor's I got on this thread. But responds were poor n not encouraging.
I later got 2 hospitals. Oakbend and Doctoresparati. Oakland ask me to pay a deposit of $600 and Doctoresparati ask me to pay $150 for registration before appointment letter can be issue to me. and all of this payment will not be refundable if am not going to use the hospital.
My fear is the distance. One is 40mins to where I will be staying n the other is 9hrs . My host promise to drive me around if and only if my hospital is around Kathy. And as I speak , all calls I made to Kathy hospitals says they don't do childbirth.
Pls I need your help.My flight is on the 14th of this month and I still don't have a Doctor, hospital nor an Appointment letter to show at POE.
God bless you as u respond. Help a sis. If you stay at Katy doctoresperati's is out of it for you Oakbend is ok not too far, it's in sugar land. and the dr you chose may have an office in Katy. You will go to oakbend only when you are in labor Methodist in Houston is also close to Katy all the best |

Onegai: Does it not drive you crazy you get all that free stuff yet in Nigeria, you will buy even Omo and Imperial Leather soap to carry to bathe your newborn?? I mean, we don't deserve to be called a good country. I wanted to organise a free charity care package for new mums in GHs but abeg I can't even try it. Hmm but it's not free nah. You'v paid for it under the 'package'. Even the most expensive hospital like Reddington and George's is still cheaper relatively |

Happy new month to u all. Am excited cos my due date is this month- finally. Seems I ave been preggy forever lol.
My question is for this cards usuage Etc in the US. My account officer told me in Gtb that I could take out 300dollars daily to d limit of 1k per month but no show o. Could only take 100dollars daily and sometimes the money wudnt come out saying 'I have exceed my limit' even when I haven't taken any money.
Can u share u card experience pls and also what's up with the 'cash back' option?
Read somewhere I could do a cash back option in shops but I don't really understand how that goes.
Pls share ur experiences pls......just want to get money ready incase of delivery emergencies- God forbid
Thanks in advance mums and dads You are in a different time zone. Your day / 24 hours will work according to Naija time so have that in mind |

NaijaMama: Hello Mamas and Papas, I know I should give details of my POE experience and birth. I'll do that as soon as I'm done with all the paper work.
Please I need information from Mamas who have flown AirFrance recently, particularly from Hoouston.
Someone mentioned here that emergency travel cert is no longer processed or accepted, which means the options are visa or Nigerian passport. Since I'm in Houston, I decided to process a visa but on calling AirFrance, they said baby can not fly with only a one way visa unless we buy a return ticket for both me and baby, since there's no proof that she's Nigerian.
Please has anyone had this experience and how did you resolve it? Is there any advise on how I can handle this without getting a passport and not buying a return ticket for both of us? I can't go all the way to the states with Nigerian embassies.
Your responses will really be appreciated. This is so weird. I flew Airfrance to and fro on my second journey and used a visa nobody even mentioned return ticket |

mumzt: no, I didn't pay extra. But didn't get a refund for spending just a day. If I'm not wrong there is no 'one day package' so I doubt the fee will be cheaper or anyone can get a refund even if you get to the hospital and put to bed in an hour and leave immediately that will fall under the two day package Same thing If a c section mom spends only two days don't think she will get a refund |

ijeomaobi1: @ favoredgirl,
48 hours starts counting the minute you check in and by 12 midnight that day, the first 24 hours has gone. That's why people complain of being overcharged by hospital.
Finally Dr F got to me by 10.30 am today and I had my very beautiful baby 12.25 pm.weighs 3.57 kg. So I have forgiven him and hope he changes for the better.
Yippee am a FTM and am so in love with my Angel. Pls see my post above Congrats on your baby |
