A40: Incredible defensive driving by Verstappen. If he's able to hold off Ham it would be further proof he is the future of F1 I've always said that I would be supporting Mad Max (assuming he doesn't mess up ) once LH retires. For now though, LH remains the Master! Future battles likely to be between Max and Lerlec. |

A40: I have seen your boy openly pray for miracle for his benefit which inadvertently means ill luck for his competition.
This year's F1 season was going into the dustbin till the German race. I still think Hamilton won't be caught but we are allowed to dream Are you saying it is a crime to pray for a miracle? |

A40: Lmaooooo I thought they said Hamilton was master of the wet. When we say that these things are a matter of time and chance and Hamilton just happens to be the luckiest driver in the history of the sport He is a master of the wet, everyone knows that. So he crashed and all of sudden haters coming out rejoicing. o ma se o. Luckiest driver? That's all fine and good. Nothing wrong with that. |

A40: Your man is insanely lucky it defies all logic. He crashes and Bottas who should capitalize crashes too! I've never seen anything like it Surely you can't blame that on LH. |
Sports › Re: FORMULA ONE F1 Official SeasonThread - Revamped by FBS: 2:00am On Jul 29, 2019 |
A40: Make we bone that thing. Why do people act like luck is a bad thing? Even Hamilton openly hopes for luck in races he initially has no hope of winning.
I recall him pretty much hoping for a miracle in Singapore in 2017 when he started 5th or 6th and he got his wish. Was he not lucky when Bottas suffered that puncture in Azerbaijan?
He also had that when the rain came from nowhere in Germany where he was down in 12th or 14th. Which of that was down to his brilliance
Let's be realistic here No one said luck is a bad thing. You have to be at the right place to get lucky. Simples. |

A40: Hamilton fans where una dey?? Awfully quiet in here
If not this yeye FIA that robbed Seb in Canada. More of this please! Let's hope Ham gathers another engine failure in Hungaroring so this year's F1 season is brought back to life Why should you be hoping for an engine failure? Idongerrit? : Just because a certain driver is better than the rest no mean say make you wish am bad luck. Abi na you dey distribute the luck no? lol |

LordAdamX: ...Or we were easy pickings. Arsenal bossed us for much of the pre-season game with them.
ATH is much better, have a special dislike for us, and helped themselves to goal after goal because we were sh*t. The scoreline should easily have been in the double digits.
Personally, I'm not losing sleep over it; but it shouldn't be taken as though Athletico put on a different garb. If ATM approached the game like a proper league match, ATM would have wrecked so much havoc that we might have been inclined to rename our stadium.
-Lord Oh they did wreck havoc and yeah could have been 10 nothing. You can't argue the fact that Atletico's approach was differrent. Zidane sure knows what to do but that backline is very suspect. |

Hazard was very poor today. Just as was the rest of the Real Madrid team. Absolute poor.
Anonymous in the first half, did something meaningful in the second when the game was as good as over.
Still pre-season sha....too early to make a call. |

Me thinks Bale was a good "servant" of the club. Certainly worth every penny that was paid for him and he sure did show up in the big matches. The club could have been more respectful but then this is Real Madrid, dem no just send anybody. |
