European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Barcelona Fans Thread. by FBS: 2:01pm On Oct 21, 2009 |
slimshay: First off, who is wondering how Barca won last year. No no no, there's no wonder there, they played some of the best footie the world has seen in recent years. Thats how you win trebles.
But right now, they got beat, and they are making mouth and mentioning Gunners, haba, na we beat you ni? Rubin kept on turning over posseision like it was some tennis game and still beat Barca, its cause for concern.
@FBS this is hardly the thread for that but Abrahamovic, Chelski, and so on and so forth, geddit?!!! hmmm I feel you but then will I be correct to say that fans of Lillypools are Americans simply because they have american owners? nah and mind you Chelsea FC was founded long before RA's grand father was born but like you said, this ain't the thread for that. Rubin did not give away possession easily as there was nothing they could do. Barca simply pinned them down in their own half. How they managed those two goals is nothing short of MAGIC. Even their coach could not believe they could win at The Camp Nou! Go Rubin Kazan! The Republic of Tatarstan will party for the next one week. |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Barcelona Fans Thread. by FBS: 8:52am On Oct 21, 2009 |
slimshay: These guys (Rubin) kept on giving up possesion like they were some League 2 team, Barca didnt do much with it in the final third. Pin point passing that often didnt result in a shot on goal. Though i have to say, Rubin's keeper plus his defense really helped them some. All in all, finishing was what did Barca in IMO. Reminds me of Spain vs USA confed cup.
@FBS 'slong as you rep the Russian's hobby or he reps your club, you are a ruskie to me . Oh yes Rasputin, he's a ruskie alrite. @Slimshay, you say wetin ? It's early momo and maybe that's why I have no idea of what you are saying! As per the game, I wouldn't say Rubin played badly. They played to instructions. Mind you they gave Inter a torrid time weeks ago. Eastbay: Footie was never a game of stats till USA 94. The most important stat of all say Rubin Kazan won.2-1. Whatever happened is irrelevant. That is very kwarect! My guy, 2 bottles of e-Fanta from me |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Barcelona Fans Thread. by FBS: 8:08am On Oct 21, 2009 |
Eastbay: My guy, good morning sir. Are u sure about that last sentence? It still beats me how they won last year.I don't think this was a glitch, cus they were far too casual for evem my own liking. Eastbay Padi Mi, ki lon se le? Yep Barca will go through. . .it's called a glitch! you know it happens. Barca actually had more chances than Rubin but I agree with you that those missed chances are only meant for the stats. Rubin played a very disciplined football and got rewarded for it. slimshay: Yup i do know you are a ruskie . I'm talking to THEM, the joke is not a decoy !!! Instead of analysing why it didnt go their way they are telling us to keep quiet, e dey happun!!! The only ruskie(s) on NL will be probably Borat or one pushkin like that (or maybe rassputin sef) Really, if you watch the match Barca played "better" but again winning is all that matters and Rubin Kazan fully deserved it. They are the russian champions you know. |

@Nateevs, I was watching the reserves game the other night and this number 5 (LB) caught my eye. He plays like Ashley. You got any information on him?
Plus, DS played well but I'm amazed at the number of chances he missed or maybe it's just me being over critical?
Alex played 45 mins and scored the first goal but I don't think he is fully fit.
Your boy Borini scored 2 goals even though, he just like DS missed very clear chances. |
