Giovinco? Tell me what i don't know. Juve were gonna sell him to Arsenal and the whole fans went up in arms against it and poor Wengay had to take his pedophile eyes elsewhere in the shape of Birschoff who he's discarded for Verminlien.

I don't know about Ronaldo but It's gonna take some time for those FKs to start going in, he seems to be off rhythm now.
you sure about this? me thinks Juve will not even consider selling him. He is their new Del Piero.

CR9 is trying though but men. . .This RM team still never gel at all.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread by FBS: 10:50pm On Jul 31, 2009
CR9 looks sightly disturbed. His free kicks are blazed either too high or straight into the wall.
Giovinco is a beast. Kids got raw talent.

Porto 1-2 Aston Villa: Sidwell Wins Spot In Final As Heskey Sees Red
The first Peace Cup finalist was decided as the English side held on to win.

Aston Villa qualified for the Peace Cup Final with a solid display against Portuguese giants Porto in a game that saw Emile Heskey sent off.

The striker opened the scoring for the Premier League outfit before Steve Sidwell added a second before the break, but the Villans then had to hold on in the closing minutes.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by FBS: 8:15am On Jul 31, 2009
Arsene Wenger is poised to break into the £40million he has received from Manchester City by tying up a deal for long-term target Blaise Matuidi.

And it looks increasingly likely the youngster will be mentored by Patrick Vieira, who could be on his way back to Arsenal.

But the fact that Wenger is considering bringing back ex-skipper Vieira in a sensational move will really capture their imagination.
Matuidi, 22, fits the profile of a typical Wenger signing and the same is true of his only summer capture thus far, defender Thomas Vermaelen, 23, who joined in a £10m deal from Ajax.

Claudio Pizarro could head for Chelsea exit door as Werder Bremen hope to seal deal
Werder Bremen have not given up hope of signing Claudio Pizarro from Chelsea, despite the player recently stating he wants to fight for his place with the Blues.
The Peru striker spent last season on loan with Bremen and scored 28 goals for them, including five in the UEFA Cup and four on the way to victory in the DFB-Pokal

We no go hear word again cos they won via penalties @ Allianz arena. If it was a 2 legged games, then the return leg would have been a stroll to victory.
I no blame u, I blame evra. Lol
but no be only Evra miss penalty nah. it wasn't because of him that you lost.

Hattrick for Uche

Nigeria striker Ikechukwu Uche continued his bright start for new club Real Zaragoza, hitting a hattrick in his second game for the club in their 11-0 win over Navaleno in another pre-season friendly.

Uche came on in the second half with Zaragoza already 5-0 up and promptly made his mark, opening his account on 57 minutes, adding a second on 65 minutes before completing his 14-minute hattrick on 71 minutes.

The goals take the forward's tally to five in two games since joining the newly-promoted outfit.

Utd line up £35m bid for Ribery
But the Premier League champions will wait two weeks before weighing in so that a clause in Ribery's Bayern Munich contract is active.

The French winger is due a loyalty bonus on August 14, after which he is expected to request a transfer.
Bayern have fended off interest from Real Madrid whose arrogance and lack of respect infuriated the German giants.
But Ribery has indicated he would be willing to move to Old Trafford and wants to quit Germany.
United believe Ribery, 26, is prepared to force the issue but would not do so until any financial issues have been sorted.
Bayern are understood to be more willing to negotiate with United but are likely to demand nearer Ј50m.
United boss Alex Ferguson sees Ribery as Cristiano Ronaldo's replacement.
Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti also revealed his admiration for the Frenchman.
