Utd line up £35m bid for Ribery
But the Premier League champions will wait two weeks before weighing in so that a clause in Ribery's Bayern Munich contract is active.

The French winger is due a loyalty bonus on August 14, after which he is expected to request a transfer.
Bayern have fended off interest from Real Madrid whose arrogance and lack of respect infuriated the German giants.
But Ribery has indicated he would be willing to move to Old Trafford and wants to quit Germany.
United believe Ribery, 26, is prepared to force the issue but would not do so until any financial issues have been sorted.
Bayern are understood to be more willing to negotiate with United but are likely to demand nearer Ј50m.
United boss Alex Ferguson sees Ribery as Cristiano Ronaldo's replacement.
Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti also revealed his admiration for the Frenchman.

We no go hear word again cos they won via penalties @ Allianz arena. If it was a 2 legged games, then the return leg would have been a stroll to victory.
I no blame u, I blame evra. Lol

How far?
The game was a serious let-down from both sides, but it was only a  pre-season tie,so no one is taking anything serious.

KDiKe tongue

U must be a roach to think winning in a penalty shoot out is meaningful. . . . . . .your team should be shot for bringing a boring match
Even in the Allainz arena, you couldn;t muster anything. You should wait for a meaningful victory in open before coming here to mouth expletives!!
Your team even had to change all 10 players at half time just to break in, IN YOUR OWN TURF!!!
KAI!! Shame on Bayern!!!! Wes Brown didn't play, Vida didn't play, hargo didn't play tongue these are first teamers in Man U.
Fletcher had to lay at right back!! tongue

Pls wait till you win in a quality competitive match before exposing ya ignorance!! tongue tongue

CR7 has missed very early but Terry was Chelsea's hope. He threw it in the gutters before Anelka later gave it to Van Der Save grin

Its only a preseason game YES

Reestablishing our authority over our perenial booty call definitely tastes sweet and shows how overrated the EPL is If the serial EPL champs can be disgraced by a bunch of youths

Where are those clamouring for a Bayern vs Man Utd match? It has come and you have seen the result
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread by kpoxyresin: 5:42pm On Jul 31, 2009
hey, guys , ya really the transfer market has realy heated up and we have seen a lot of surprises,e.g, Micheal Owen to Old Trafford, a guy that Benitez openly refused to sign.

The Aguero bid might not work as we can see,,,,,personally, I love the way that Aguero plays but I was surprised in how a Sunderland team was able to cage him in the Amsterdam Cup, a match that Sunderland went on to win.

Lets see what SAF is gonna do, he still got the Ronaldo cash burning in his pocket and has not allowed the cash to get into his head as we have seen.

Sir Ferguson might pull a surprise next season with Owen, lets see.

I doft ma hat for Sir Bobby Robson at least for the fact that he was the one that saved Owen from the jaws of Real madrid at a time when benitez and his lazy Scousers were unwilling to sign Owen.
