MrCrackles:

Not so sure, all i know is England will breeze through!
why not?
Germany will beat the shait out of Finland. Can't say same for Spain if they continue to play like this.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: UEFA U-21 2009 by FBS(op): 9:38pm On Jun 15, 2009
End of match.
Stalemate but Germany had the upper hand.
Dzil missed two good chances but then the Spanish keeper did brilliantly well.
The Spanish team -very poor today.
Based on this, England and Germany should be in the next round.

Cristalz:
No way, man. Not with Rossi and de Rossi on that pitch.

USA showed the weak stuff they were made of early in the game when they kept messing up. They never had anything going for them attack-wise, so I never expected them to win.
Their penalty was the only way they coulda gotten a goal. After the penalty one woulda expected them to step up, increase the pressure, but they didn't really do that. Further proves their football silliness.
Then, hello red card. Made no difference.  .  .their game remained as weak as it had always been.
And then, hello Rossi. Bang bang USA, Italy rulez. grin

Come on, do you guys really believe USA was capable of beating Italy? Current World cup champs? Haba.
World champ my foot. I'm sure you can remember how they got to the final. Ojoro.
USA had 2 clean chances but somehow forgot their striking boots at the airport.
If NZ could put 3 past Buffon, why can't the USA do same?

And Yes, the RED card had a MASSIVE EFFECT.
The Italian defender was supposed to get a RED else why did the ref give a pen?

Pirlo's having a shaky game, like Gattuso was before he got subbed. Doubt that he'll be subbed though.
like you said, Gattuso didn't take enough/or too much lasagna today.

But mehn, that was a belter from Rossi.
Mancienne should never play for England again.
At this level, he lacks confidence.
He played very well during the group stages. One of England best youngsters.
He made a mess of himself today but hey, it happens sometimes. wink
