The 27-year-old in a tweet asked his fans to say a silent prayer whenever they see his tweet on Friday.

THREE persons were feared dead in Akungba, Akoko South-West council area of Ondo State in a crash involving three trucks.

Several others were reportedly injured in the crash along the lkare/ Owo highway.

The three truck went up in flames following the impact of the collision.

Recall that a similar crash in which 16 persons were killed occurred in the same community over a month ago.

One of the truck according to eyewitness account was loaded with bags of cement while the two others were loaded with gift item, packs of frozen fish and chicken.

Vanguard gathered that the crash occurred at the Okerigbo Hill near the main gate of the Adekunle Ajasin University in Akungba.

It was learnt that immediately one of the truck rammed into the other two, it caught fire killing the people inside the trucks.

Sources said that the driver of one of the trucks who was on high speed lost control due to brake failure and rammed into the other stationary trucks.


He said ” The incident occurred this evening and the vehicles were in flame for several hours as there were no firefighters to put the fire out”

The identities of the victims involved in the accident was not known as at the time of filing the report, but sources said many of them were passerby.

The Ikare Unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission, Mr Kabir Mohammed said the cause of the accident had not been ascertained as at the time of filing this report.

Igbere TV just obtained a video which is currently trending on social media — showing two bare-chested men fighting in a compound.

According to information gathered by Igbere TV, the wives of the men in the video got into a heated argument and was later transferred to their husbands; leading the men to carry on the fight to a physical level.

In the 3 minutes video shared by a, Facebook user, Adamazi Mbonu Onyi Jennifer, the men who have on just a pair of boxes and the other, a pair of trousers, are seen hitting each other with chairs, batons and bottles while another man hesitantly tries to separate the fight.

A lady was also seen in the video trying her best to separates them by pouring two buckets of water on them but it doesn't seem to do the trick. Some men eventually separate them by flogging them with long canes. It works, but one of the fighters chases the other before the video clip comes to an end.

Rumours making rounds on social media says the fight later takes an intense turn as the two men proceed to hitting each other with bottles and other harmful objects leading to their death while some said it is false.

As at the time of filing this report, Igbere TV is yet to confirm the rumours.

Reports that an Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman has said the country constantly pursues the case of Nigeria’s top Shia cleric Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky through diplomatic contacts with the Nigerian government in line with efforts to help improve his health.

Abbas Mousavi told reporters in Tehran on Sunday that President Buhari and Iranian Vice President for Economic Affairs, Mohammad Nahavandian recently met in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, on a range of issues, including Zakzaky’s case.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 5th Summit of Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) in Equatorial Guinea. “We hope that the consultations and arrangements that are being made will expedite the settlement of this issue,” the Iranian official said.

Sheikh Zakzaky, who is in his mid-sixties, has been under arrest since December 2015, when his home in the town of Zaria was raided by Nigerian forces.

Three of his sons were killed, his wife sustained serious wounds. Members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) regularly take to the streets of Abuja and several other cities to call for the release of Sheikh Zakzaky.

Last week Nigerian authorities transferred Zakzaky and his wife to the Correctional Center in Kaduna state, following a high court ruling. Earlier on Sunday, Sheikh Zakzaky’s daughter, Suhailah, expressed concerns about her parents’ health conditions and said the Nigerian government had ignored her father’s legal right to treatment.

At a press conference in Tehran, she added that the same court, which had issued a verdict on the necessity for the urgent treatment of Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife, on December 5 ordered their transfer to the Correctional Center in Kaduna. She said she knew nothing about her parents’ situation in the prison.

Suhailah said her father has suffered several bouts of heart attack due to numerous medical conditions and her mother is not able to walk.

Sheikh Zakzaky, his daughter said, also suffers from lead and cadmium poisoning, which forced the Nigerian authorities to allow him to travel to India for an aborted treatment.

A police officer attached to a bank in Oye-Ekiti has been shot dead in a robbery attack on Thursday.

A girl, believed to be about five years old, was also killed by the gunmen while on her way back from school.

The gunmen made away with money from the bank’s vault and stole from the customers.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented certificates of return to Kogi State governor-elect, Yahaya Bello, and the deputy governor-elect, Edward Onoja.

Zonal National Commissioner of INEC for Kogi, Niger, and Kwara States, Mohammed Haruna, presented the certificates to them in a ceremony on Thursday.

Mr Haruna said it marked the beginning of a new era in the state.

Bello, while receiving the certificate of return, commended the people of Kogi State for his re-election with a promise to reciprocate the gesture through provision of good governance.

He solicited the cooperation of the people across the three senatorial districts of the state assuring that no axis of the state would be left out in the new dispensation irrespective of ethnic or political affiliations.

Bello vowed to work seriously with the security agencies to fish out perpetrators of violence that greeted the November 16 governorship polls either before, during and after the election.

Chairman of Interparty Advisory Council (IPAC) in Kogi, Ibrahim Itodo, called on Bello to unify all as the state’s number one citizen.

Bello and Onoja will be sworn in on January 27, 2020.

Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai has backed the Federal Government’s decision to close Nigeria’s land borders.

El-Rufai was a special guest at the graduation of Senior Course Three of the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College, Gwagwalada, Abuja on Friday, November 15th said it is unfair for smaller countries to be sabotaging a big country like Nigeria.

He said the step taken was commendable. He explained that Nigeria like any other country likes to trade with other countries but added that there must be fairness. The Governor noted that closure of the borders should be sustained until there were established deals that covered every country.

“The partial closure of borders is highly commendable. Nigeria is the largest country in West Africa and the continent and it is clear that our neighbours are using our openness and brotherhood to trade, to exploit us.

“I fully support and subscribe to the closure of borders and we should sustain it for as long as possible. We need to do this for our country to have a fair deal and for our manufacturers to be protected. All those talking about free trade or preaching about it today closed their borders for centuries and decades ago.

“Nigeria must grow its internal capacity, we will not do so if we allow our neighbours to use the porosity of our borders to sabotage our economy,’’ he explained.

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has upheld the suspension of the suspension of the party’s chairman in Edo, Mr Anslem Ojezua, by 11 of 16 members of the State Working Committee (SWC).

In a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Lanre Issa-Onilu, the party said that the party’s state working committee had fulfilled the required conditions after it reviewed the process that led to Ojezua’s suspension.

“The meeting of the NWC, which held today, at the Party’s National Secretariat received a notification of the suspension of the Edo APC Chairman, Anslem Ojezua by 11 of 16 members of the Edo Working Committee (SWC).

“We have reviewed the process they followed and conclude that they have fulfilled the required conditions.

“We therefore uphold the suspension of the Edo APC Chairman, Anslem Ojezua while we await the outcome of the fact-finding and reconciliation committee,” Issa-Onilu said.

According to him, the NWC’s objective and cause of action is strictly to address the root causes of the disputations and reconcile all parties to make our great party even stronger.

The party’s spokesman said that the political development within the party ranks in Edo Swas deeply disturbed by the recent turn of events.

“We note that this is happening in spite of the various steps the party has taken to find an amicable resolution.

“We recall that party leaders such as the Chairman, Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF), Gov. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti and Chairman, Progressives Governors’ Forum (PGF), Gov. Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi and other eminent party leaders, had all tried at various times to ensure that the issues do not escalate.

Gov. Godwin Obaseki of Edo says the far-reaching reforms and people-oriented policies that have changed the fortunes of the people will earn him a second term.

Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA) has launched more attacks on businesses belonging to Nigerians in the country.

The union on Monday closed down 15 more shops belonging to Nigerians at Opera Square in Accra, capital of Ghana.

The closure brings the number of affected businesses to about 70, Igbere TV reports.

National president of the Nigerian Union of Traders Association in Ghana (NUTAG), Chukwuemeka Nnaji, has advised members to close their shops today as rumours spread that Nigerian-owned businesses at Tip Toe Lane, Kwame Nkrumah Circle, would be the latest casualties.

Edward Onoja, the Kogi state deputy governor has asked PDP youths to stop enslaving themselves to Ibrahim Idris and Wada family of Kogi.

In a video he released, Onoja said it's time for the PDP youths to wake up and learn from APC who ressule power from older politicians, Igbere TV reports.

" If you look at the APC people in Kogi government, we are all young men. Can't PDP youths think like this? Must they be slaves to the Wadas or Idris?"

Gov. Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi has approved with immediate effect the appointment of 15 new Permanent Secretaries in the state Civil Service.

In a statement signed by the Acting Head of Service, Alhaji Tanko Magaji in Birnin Kebbi on Thursday, also Bagudu also approved the appointment of Alhaji Ibrahim Umar as the new Accountant-General of the State and Alhaji Kabir Argungu as the State Surveyor-General.

The new permanent secretaries are Alhaji Lawali Shehu, Aisha Usman, Malami Shekare, Garba Zuru, Nana Zagga and Dahiru Zaki.

Others are Aliyu Gwandu, Mr Joel Aiki, Fati Bawa, Abubakar Lonzon, Aishatu Maikurata, Fatima Mungadi, Sani Bunza, Ahmad Yerima and Dr Aminu Bunza.

Gov. Bagudu advised the new permanent secretaries to exhibit high sense of responsibility, commitment, honesty and patriotism in the discharge of their duties to move the state forward.

All appointments take effect from Wednesday, Nov. 6.

The governor also approves the appointment of Alhaji Iliyasu Jega, Chairman Board of Internal Revenue and Alhaji Garba Hamis as the new Secretary, Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency.

The entire Nollywood is to be blamed for the disqualification of Nigeria’s Oscar choice “Lionheart’’, a movie producer, Chima Okereke, said on Wednesday

`Lionheart”, directed by Genevieve Nnaji, was Nigeria’s first-ever Oscar submission for best international feature film.

It was disqualified on Monday by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for not having “a predominantly non-English dialogue track”.

Films for the must-have a predominantly non-English dialogue track but the 95-minute Lion Heart is largely in English, with an 11-minute section in the Igbo Language, Igbere TV reports.

Okereke, the Managing Director of the Fresh Talent Production, a movie company, told newsmen that the structure was flawed.

“In the opinion of the screeners, the film should have used majorly the Igbo Language than the English Language, and the blame game started flying.

“It is important to understand that profit consideration cannot allow a big film of that status, shot in Nigeria, to be shot majorly in Igbo or any other Nigerian Language.

“It will most likely lead to loss of capital investment; people might not want to watch because it was done in a local language; sentiments, politics and ethnic nuances will kill its potential patronage no matter how great the film is in terms of theme, interpretation, value and impact,’’ he said.

He said that the committee that nominated “Lionheart’’ did not want an opportunity to slip by.

“The gamble did not fly; now, we should learn from it.

“At least, thousands of filmmakers who lampooned some of us for not aiming for Oscar will now see the reason.

“King of Boys’’, “Trip to Jamaica’’, “Wedding
Party’’ and others that made huge profits as we gathered, would not have made it to Oscar because they were not shot in Yoruba or Igbo language and then
subtitled in English,’’ he said.

He noted that some years back at a seminar organised Directors Guild of Nigeria, the issue of nomination for Oscar came up.

“I told everyone who nursed that idea to do that in the indigenous language. You see it now.

“Only one category is reserved for films made outside Hollywood, and to be qualified to win Oscar, the language must be indigenous.

“It could be Spanish, Portuguese, Igbo, Efik, Mandarin, Yoruba, etc., targeting at least 60-65 per cent indigenous language,’’ he said.

Okere said that filmmakers working toward the entrance for Oscar would have no choice than to use non-English language.

Use your local language; shooting a film with American or British Language will not get you a nomination,’’ he said.

Okereke, however, said that a film shot in the English Language could make it to Oscar if co-produced with a Hollywood producer.

“The lesson from “Lionheart’’ disqualification is: Take your language serious; follow the rules. Hollywood takes film production as a serious business and protects it with its award system.

“There has to be collaborative efforts from filmmakers in Nigeria by putting the elements needed to win at the big stage – from story to language options and to value and marketing.

“Filmmakers have to go back to the drawing board and get it right.

“If we neglect this fact, we miss billions in not keying into the global film business,’’ he said.

The Embassy of Israel in Nigeria on Friday re-opened after a two-day closure of all Israeli embassies and consulates because of strike by diplomats and military attaches over allownces.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) correspondent reports that the Israeli embassy shut down diplomatic operations in Abuja from Wednesday, Oct. 30 to Thursday, Oct. 31 .

The embassy had via its social media page https://www.facebook.com/pg/IsraelinNigeria/posts announced that the closure was due to decision of the Israeli Ministry of Finance to breach the understandings that were agreed upon.

The embassy said the agreement was signed by the Director General of the Ministry of Finance on July 21, 2019 and to apply a one-sided procedure that alters protocol that has been in place for several decades.

“We are forced to close the diplomatic mission; no consular services will be provided and no one will be allowed to enter the Embassy and Consulate.

“Israeli diplomats are committed at all times to strive to enhance Israel’s strength and resilience.

“Unfortunately, the decision of the Ministry of Finance does not leave us any choice, but to take the above-mentioned action.

“Since the vital interests of the State of Israel have been harmed, we hope that this crisis will be resolved as soon as possible,” he page said.

The Embassy of Israel in Nigeria is a window to Israel-Nigeria relations and the promotion of diplomatic ties between both countries.

Israel, a small country approximately the size of Niger State is the only Jewish country globally with population of nine million people of whom Jews comprise around 80 per cent.

The Zone B of Nigeria Customs Service Federal Operations Unit Kaduna, on Thursday, said it had seized smuggled goods valued at over N304.39 million in August 2019.

The Comptroller of the command, Mustafa Sarkin-Kebbi said at a media briefing in Kaduna, that the seizures were made from the month of August 2019 within the command’s area of operation.

He said that 238 seizures were made within August 2019 across the 11 states in the zone.

According to him, the seizure included 56 vehicles and 4,893 bags of rice.

Other include 677 bags of sugar; 1,212 cartons noodles, 391 bales of second-hand clothing and 982 jerry cans of 25 litres of vegetable oil.

He said there were also 21 cartons of tomato paste, one motorcycle and three cartons of Codeine syrup.

Sarkin-Kebbi disclosed that seven suspects were apprehended during the period.

“Another seizure of 318 bags of foreign parboiled rice of 149 bags re-bagged in local sacks and 85 jerry cans of vegetable oil were made at Mando garage, Kaduna.’’

He noted that all operations were carried out in line with Section 147 of the Customs Act which empowers the service to search premises and Section 158 which empowers it to patrol freely.

He said: “The briefing is a follow up to the sensitisation programme held on Oct. 2, 2019, on the importance of partial Border closure.’’

According to him, the border closure is with the aim of safeguarding the nation’s economic and food security.

He said the command has recorded significant successes and greatly improved on its anti-smuggling profile with the magnitude of seizures made so far in areas under its jurisdiction.

Sarkin-Kebbi further noted that they are not relenting in efforts of making sure that smuggled rice does not get into the country.

He called on stakeholders to always help the Nigerian Customs Service with information on any smuggling activities within their area.

On his part, the Chairman, Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN), Kaduna State chapter, Alhaji Mohammed Numbu reiterated the group’s commitment toward giving its total support to the government to ensure boom in local rice production in the country, Igbere TV reports.

He called on Nigerians to come together to salvage the country’s economy, by giving the government all the support needed to ensure that the goals were achieved

In a separate interview, the Chairman of Car Dealers Association, Alhaji Ahmad Abdullahi thanked the Nigeria Customs Service for their support

He assured that the association would ensure that its members complied with government directives on payment of duties.

According to him, any of the members found importing cars with weapons will be exposed and handed over to relevant authorities for punishment.

Chairman of Innoson Group of Companies Nigeria Ltd, Innocent Chukwuma, has said that he is unaware of a report that Anambra lawmakers rejected Toyota Prado SUVs and demanded Innoson vehicles.

Mr Chukwuma said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Nnewi, Anambra State.

“Anybody, including the Anambra lawmakers, is free to buy any brand of vehicle of his or her choice,” he said.

“As we speak, Anambra government ordered for 40 vehicles which it fully paid for and we hope to deliver them to the state by next week.”

Chukwuma said he enjoyed a very warm relationship with Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, saying that he was willing to leverage the relationship to impact positively on the state, Igbere TV reports.

He also named Enugu, Ebonyi, Ekiti, Imo, Kogi, Anambra, Gombe, and Bauchi States and the military as part of those who buy Innoson vehicles.

Chukwuma called for more patronage to enable him transform Nigeria into a vehicle manufacturing hub in Africa.

“I can say that Innoson vehicle manufacturing is doing well, especially with the level of patronage and support the company is enjoying under the present federal government,” he said.

“I must equally say that some state governments like Ekiti, Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi, Kogi, Gombe, Anambra, and Bauchi are giving us a great boost.

“As at today, Innoson vehicles are being used in some West African countries like Mali, Sierra Leone, and Ghana and some Nigerians residing abroad return home to purchase our vehicles.”

Chukwuma said that his vehicle factory had the capacity to manufacture all brands of vehicle, adding that he hoped to expand the company soonest.

He also said that apart from doing well in production capacity, the company recently employed between 7,300 and 7,500 workers to boost production capacity.

Senate President Ahmad Lawan on Friday led Nigerian officials to the Jumat prayers to mark the nation’s 59th independence anniversary at the National Mosque in Abuja.

The Federal Capital Territory Minister, Muhammadu Musa-Bello, represented President Muhammadu Buhari at the prayer ground, Igbere TV reports.

Also in attendance were the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Muhammad; Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar; and Senator Ibrahim Shekarau among others.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is expected to lead another powerful delegation of government officials to the National Christian Centre on Sunday for the church service of the National Independence Day prayers.

There were wild jubilations today after the Kaduna State Government paid its workers the new national minimum wage, N30,000, Igbere TV reports.

The state has officially become the first state in the country to implement the new N30,000 minimum wage.

Igbere TV recalls that in August, following the approval by the State Executive Council, Governor Nasir el-Rufai’s Special Adviser on Media and Communications, Mr Muyiwa Adekeye, in a statement disclosed that the Kaduna State Government said it would begin the implementation of the new national minimum wage of N30,000 in September, 2019.

The government, however, said the implementation of the new minimum wage would increase the monthly wage bill of the Kaduna State Government by 33 per cent.

Confirming the development, a Kaduna-based lady identified as Maryam Abubakar said; “Kaduna State is the first state to implement the new N30,000 minimum wage.

“There is jubilation in the state as workers have started receiving salary alerts for the month of September. ������”

Senior Pastor of Latter Rain Assembly, Tunde Bakare, has said that he is not granting interview on issues involving Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

Prof. Osinbajo is said to be setting his sights on taking over from President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

However, the Vice-President’s relationship with Buhari is rumoured to have suffered a crack after he was accused of disregarding due process in the award of contracts for agencies under his watch.

Bakare told TheCable on Monday by telephone that he was not interested in talking publicly about the Vice President.

“I believe the government is perfectly capable of addressing the issues,” he said.

“I have not and I am not granting interviews on this current VP saga. If, however, my counsel is sought at all, I will handle that confidentially and not in public.”

The preacher also asked the public to disregard any interview he is said to have given over the matter.

Igbere TV earlier reported that Bakare, on Monday, appeared in clips showing him giving a sermon and telling his congregation that he would succeed Buhari in 2023.

Clips of the sermon which was given in February 2018 was culled up late Sunday and has been gaining attention on social media.

Bakare, in the video, said God had prepared him for the nation’s top job for more than 30 years.

The Nigerian army on Friday protects Muslims who came out to attend Jumuat service in the mosque.

According to reports, many residents of Gajiram were apprehensive and reluctant to attend Jumuat service following reports of terrorists plan to attack /invade Gajiram town.

On receipt of the information/report, the Commander Sector 3, Operation Lafiya Dole (OPLD)/Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF), Major-General AB Biu, directed his Artillery Brigade, Brigadier commander-Brig Gen JAL Jimoh, to move to Gajiram and reassure residents of the town of Army's readiness to protect them and their properties in Gajigaram and its surrounding areas, Igbere TV learnt.

While in the community (Gajiram), Brig Gen Jimoh, urged them to go about their normal activities and legitimate businesses peacefully, without any fear.

Consequently, there was large turn-out of the residents for the Jumuat prayer with Brig Gen JAL Jimoh, and other Muslim officers and soldiers in attendance. Including the Commander of the Chadian troops under the MNJTF.

The prayers was hitch-free. Brig Gen Jimoh through a Kanuri interpreter addressed the people, reassured them of their safety.

He solicited for the support and cooperation of the community by providing credible information on the movements and activities of the fleeing criminals.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Thursday arraigned suspected internet fraudster, Ani John Chukwuebuka, before Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja on a two-count charge bordering on making false statement to a public officer and destruction of evidence, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV gathers that Ani was arrested during a recent collaborative operation by the EFCC and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

One of the counts reads: “That you, Ani John Chukwuebuka, on or about the 2nd day of August, 2019 in Lagos, within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, with intent to cause Adenike Sanni, a public officer and an operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) from performing her duty as an investigator, gave Adenike Sanni false MTN phone number 08032558370 as your own personal number and thereby caused her to omit to investigate the MTN telephone number which Adenike Sanni ought not to have omitted, if the true facts concerning the phone were known to her.”

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge preferred against him by the EFCC.

In view of his plea, prosecution counsel, CR Edozie, asked the court for a trial date and also prayed the court to remand the defendant in prison custody pending the determination of the case.

However, the defendant’s lawyer informed the court that an application for bail had been filed and served on the prosecution, adding that “ the prosecution is yet to respond.”

In his response, Edozie, told the court that prosecution Intended to oppose the application and would respond. “My Lord, we are still within the time stipulated by the Law to respond to such an application,” he added.

Consequently, Justice Taiwo adjourned the case to October 2 for hearing of the bail application and ordered the defendant to be remanded in Ikoyi prison.

Senator Shehu Sani, the former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has raised alarm over persecution of musicians in the Northern part of the country, Igbere TV reports.

Mr Shehu Sani raised the alarm in a tweet on Monday, September 16.

According to him, musicians & artists in the region who criticize bad Governance or question authorities in their songs in Hausa are being prosecuted by the government.

The albums, which were released about three years ago, were said to have violated some provisions of the state censorship board laws.

Former interim chairman, Association of Political Consultants-Africa (APCA), Nigerian chapter, Semiu Okanlawon, has advised aspiring political office holders to engage political consultants, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV reports that Okanlawon, who was speaking to journalists at the conclusion of the fourth political summit of the organisation held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on Friday said political aspirations in the 21st century goes beyond putting together haphazard structures.

He stated that the organisation in Africa, which is an affiliate of the International Association of Political Consultants (IAPC), presents great opportunities for professionals in the area of political mobilisations, fundraising, surveys, lobbying, media and messaging and other vital areas to horn their skills towards delivering on their mandates.

“Since the umbrella body, IAPC was founded in 1968, political consultants have impacted greatly in different countries especially the United States, Canada and many European countries. Africa as a whole does not appear to have taken the advantage and that has taken its toll on the delivery of political aspirations and even when candidates finally get elected.


“This is the area we have focused on building since the APCA was formed in South Africa at our maiden summit. There are challenges in ensuring many African countries get cracking but certainly, there have been improvements since 2016 after the first summit. The second held in Nigeria and third in Kenya last year have moved the organisation forward.

“In Nigeria, as well as in other African countries, we are calling on politicians to critically review their engagements and take advantage of the special skills which professionals have acquired to improve their engagements,” Okanlawon added

He disclosed that as part of the summit, All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Bola Tinubu, was honoured during the association’s Diamond Award while president of the African chapter, Kehinde Bamigbetan, announced Temitope Lakisokun as new chairman for the Nigerian chapter.

Tinubu was represented at the presentation of the award by another APC chieftain, Mutiu Are.
