Singer Banky W on Monday hosted presidential aspirant Prof. Kingsley Moghalu at his residence in Lagos, Igbere TV reports.
Mogahlu shared a photo of himself and the singer on Twitter.
“Just spent a productive 90 minutes with my “aburo” @BankyW at his home in Lagos. He received me with much warmth and respect, and we did a deep dive into how 2023 could unfold.
“We have both made sacrifices, even of livelihood, to be in politics to make our country better,” he tweeted.

Kingsley, a former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), had contested the presidential election in 2019.
Banky W ran for the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives on the platform of the Modern Democratic Party in 2019.
He lost to Babajide Obanikoro, son of former Nigeria high commissioner to Ghana Senator Musiliu Obanikoro.
Skit maker Adebayo Ridwan Abidemi aka Bae U has apologised after he was exposed for demanding sex from ladies to feature them in skit roles, Igbere TV reports.
Bae U, also known as Isbae U, on Sunday became a trending topic on social media after Instagram blogger Gist Lovers posted screenshots of conversations alleged to be that of the skit maker and ladies who claimed he wanted to have sex with them.
Nigerians took to Twitter to call out the skit maker asking him to clear the air in the allegations
Reacting to the topic, Bae U releases series of video as he apologised for his wrong deeds.

Businessman Lanre Gentry, the ex-husband of actress Mercy Aigbe, has reacted to the series of photos she posted, revealing movie producer Kazim Adeoti as her new lover, Igbere TV reports.
For months, the actress had been teas her fans hinting that she is in a relationship but refused to reveal the man’s identity.
In several posts on her Instagram, the mother-of-two often referred to herself as ‘aya de owner’ which simply means ‘the owner’s wife.
However, in an Instagram post on Sunday, the 44-year-old shared photos of Adeoti ahead of his birthday.
Reacting to the photos, Mr Gentry shared a throwback picture of himself, Mercy, Kazim Adeoti and an unidentified woman.
Speaking, Gentry stated that the truth is finally out and the photo was one out of many. Comments are disabled on the post.
“At least I thank God the truth is out, this is just one out of many to God be the glory. I don’t need anyone’s comment,” he wrote.
This comes after a blogger Gistlover claimed that Kazim is already married to another woman and Mercy is a husband snatcher.
Mercy was formerly married to Lanre Gentry but left her marriage in 2017 on allegations of domestic violence and infidelity.

Actress Funmi Awelewa has cried out over her mother’s health condition, recalling how she put her career on hold to take care of her, Igbere TV reports.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, Funmi revealed that her mum is battling a sickness that has affected her sight, causing blindness to the woman. The Yoruba movie star also lamented that watching her going through such pain is frustrating.
“The last few months were tough for me but I’m grateful God gave my mother another chance. At a point, I lost my mind and I couldn’t find a better word to describe how I felt… Seeing one’s mother going through so much pain can be frustrating. Popular Nigerian singer, Davido, was pleasantly surprised by his former signee, Mayorkun at his Abuja concert Recently, Igbere TV reports.
In a video that made the rounds on social media, one of the highlights of the concert was Mayorkun's appearance on stage.
During the concert, Davido's hit single with Mayorkun, The Best came on and as soon as he started performing it alone, Mayorkun entered the stage from behind.
Davido's face lighted up as he laughed loudly and jumped to embrace Mayorkun, they then disengaged and took over the stage.

Actress-rights activist Stephanie Linus has announced her partnership with United Nations to tackle women and girls trafficking in Nigeria, Igbere TV reports.
The 39-year-old shared a video on Instagram on Thursday, highlighting the dangers of child trafficking as she takes us through the life of a girl who traveled abroad for prostitution.
Releasing a statement along with the video, the mother of one wrote: “Stephanie Linus has stepped in to contribute to the efforts against human trafficking of women and girls with a compelling Public Service Announcement (PSA) on human trafficking titled “You Wan Travel Abroad?.

A seven-year-old girl, Demilade Fadare, who was declared missing yesterday, Monday, December 06 at Adehun, Ado Ekiti has been found dead, Igbere TV reports.
According to information gathered by our correspondent, the girl was found dead this morning. She was allegedly stabbed multiple times by a neighbor and kept inside a cooler.
The said house where she was found belongs to a pastor at Bolorunduro Street, Adehun area. The pastor said his wife was not around so the policemen couldn’t search the house.
It was further gathered that the incident led residents of the area to burn down the house.
Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo has visited a house he bought for widows in the Ajegunle area of Lagos, Igbere TV reports.
The visit was his first since he bought the house a few years ago. His mum had, however, been to the place prior to this time.
Ighalo posted on Instagram pictures and videos of his time with the widows who were excited to see the former Manchester United player.

The funeral rites of Nomthi Odukoya, wife of the senior pastor of Fountain of Life Church Taiwo Odukoya, will begin on Monday, November 29 with a night of tributes from 4 pm, Igbere TV reports.
The funeral service will hold on Tuesday, November 30 from 11 am at the Fountain of Life Church located in the Ilupeju area of Lagos.
Nomthi died at the age of 47 after fighting cancer for two years.
Odukoya had announced the funeral plans on Friday, November 12 via Instagram, the same platform where he announced her death.
Nomthi, a South African, married Odukoya in 2010. She had two boys — Jomiloju and Timilehin — with him.
She was his second wife after his first Pastor Bimbo Odukoya died in a plane crash in 2005. Bimbo had two children with Odukoya – Jimmy Odukoya and Tolu Odukoya-Ijogun.
Several clergymen and women including Bishop David Oyedepo are expected to be part of the funeral.
Oyedepo had paid Odukoya a condolence visit on Wednesday, November 10.
He was accompanied by his wife Faith, his deputy Bishop David Abioye and Pastor Sam Olubiyo.
Also, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye visited Odukoya on Monday, November 15.
Adeboye, who signed the condolence register during his visit to Odukoya, said in an Instagram post that the Christian community should draw comfort from the fact that Nomthi served God.
“We are deeply comforted in the fact that Pastor (Mrs) Nomthi Odukoya knew, loved and served the Lord with such fervency. And so we rejoice that she is in heaven; a place where there is eternal peace and rest,” he wrote.
Addressing his congregation on Sunday, November 14, Odukoya revealed that he and Nomthi visited several countries in search of the best healthcare during her battle with cancer.
“In the US, they told us that at the level at which we are treating this case, less than 1 per cent of Americans go this far,” he said.
Nollywood actress Ebele Okaro on Tuesday left her fans filled with laughter as she shared a throwback photo of herself in baggy jeans and a jersey polo, Igbere TV reports.
The 57-year-old shared the photo on Instagram.
“Throwback picture. Blessed day to Us all, family,” she wrote.
Ohanaeze Ndigbo President General Prof. George Obiozor described Rita’s election as “timely and will add impetus to the efforts and serious contributions towards providing solutions to the various critical problems facing the nation in general and Igboland in particular.”
Prof Obiozor, according to a statement signed by the organisation’s spokesperson Chiedozie Ogbonnia, urged the newly elected officers to imbibe the fear of God in the discharge of their duties.
