Interesting. Josh Hawley comes to the realization that they can't win majority votes with just MAGA votes. MAGA can only win primary elections. Wondering if the many Republicans that backed Trump earlier on just played dumb all these years or just wanted to test the waters.

That was my point. What is so unnerving about Trump that the media, big tech,RINOs and democrats fight him like their lives depend on it. Ever since Trump won the media became outright liars peddling falsehoods about him the whole day. Twitter, FB and IG banned him eventually .
The media new narrative is that Trump candidates lost. That the MAGA movement is a mirage and the party dont need him.
Meanwhile they are propping up DeSantis as the most popular Republican.

Something to note here is that the strategy of Democrats helping crazy people win their primaries turned out to be a good strategy because they won some seats thanks to that too.

It is still unbelievable that the worst inflation crisis within the last 40 years didn't result in the said "red wave". Besides, with Kevin McCarthy as the next Speaker, it would be difficult for Republicans to extricate themselves from blame if the US economy goes deeper into a recession within the next two years, because the Republicans would be in charge of 1/3 of the political sub-branches of government (or the entire Congress).
