Danielnino00: Yeah Adama Traore might be useful when they play teams that have physically strong players. Spain with all their skills sometimes struggle against teams that are strong, athletic and determined in defence and with his pace, strength and athleticism, he can be useful. Sometimes, a players style of play and how he can help out and how he contributes and fits into the teams tactical formation is more important than how good or talented he is. Football is about how the skill set is useful in a game or tactical formation and not rating. |

IDENNAA: As long as we have problems with creativity in midfield, Rabiu Ibrahim will remain a recuring decimal that refuses to go away. I am not his fan but safe the foreign based players, he seems to be an alternative. At least he is playing regularly for his club. I know people don't want to here his name but our limited options in midfield makes him a viable alternative. He is the only player we can invite from an obscure league since we are poor in this area until we get better options 1 Like 1 Share |

edi287: I often wonder if Balogun can play in midfield. I mean his ball playing and distribution will be good in midfield. He is one of the few defenders we have that can play in midfield. Rohr should have used him there instead of Semi Ajayi. His game has some elements of good midfield play. Any coach will like a player like Balogun and use him in different ways. |

I hope an attacking midfielder can emerge from the LATVIAN CONNECTION where Arokodare came from. We really need players from that position By the way Latvia is doing what the Nigerian football league ought to be doing. If not for the way the local league is, a large percentage of them will be in mfm, enyimba e.t.c and then they can transfer to clubs abroad and in this way, our local clubs can make money. As in, Tolu Arokodare could have gone from Enyimba straight to Koln. That is how Finidi went from Sharks of Portharcout to Ajax in the 90's. TheSuperNerd: |

THE NEW CELESTINE BABAYARO (GODFEY BITOCK STEPHEN) Godfrey Bitock is another rising talent within the Universe of Nigerian football. Though in an obscure league, his case could be like that of Tolu Arokodare. I was surprised when i saw his report on totalfootballanalysis which is a well respected website. He is a left back playing in Belarus and was part of the Olympics team. This is his scout report https://totalfootballanalysis.com/article/godrey-bitok-stephen-nigerian-star-in-the-making-in-minsk-tactical-analysis-tactics n the pitch, there have been some standout young players in the Belarus Premier League. One of these players was a young Nigerian left-back by the name of Godfrey Bitok Stephen. The tall 19-year-old has impressed many with his performances for the Wolves this season as a marauding left-wing back. Standing at 183cm, comfortable on the ball and possessing plenty of confidence, Stephen looks a really exciting prospect that may well have gone under the radar were it not for the sudden loss of major European football. |

Tolulopefinest: The problem is most super eagles fans that grew up in the golden generation watched Sunday Oliseh and so we want him to pass and be as technical as Oliseh going forward. You know that kin Oliseh pass to Yekini in Tunisia 94. His style of play may be fantastic but it is too defensive for golden generation era Nigerian fans 2 Likes |

TheSuperNerd: This is another good report on Iheanacho Algerian Journalist explains how Iheanacho's movement disorganized Algeria's defense. It shows how technically and tactically sound he can be if he is in form https://www.owngoalnigeria.com/2016/11/14/algerian-journalist-explains-how-iheanachos-movement-disorganised-algerias-defence-for-moses-to-pounce/ 1 Like |

timay: You voiced out my thoughts. I am tired. Let him stay at Leicester if he wants. One thing i noticed is that Nigerian born or locally produced players seem to lack ambition. They just want money. They don't want to break records and receive awards. As long as they have money that is all. Rohr is changing that mentality. I mean he stopped kalu from leaving Boardeax. Rohr's attitude also made Henry Onyekuru to stay and fight for his place at Monaco. This is one of the good qualities of Rohr. Some of the few ambitious home based players are Osimhen and tolu arokodare and a few others. Im sure if it was one of the foreign born players, they will leave Leicester for somewhere where they will get game time. Iheanacho has something to offer but i dont know if he has the drive and ambition to improve and be better. 7 Likes 1 Share |

ChrisKels: As a supporting striker Chidera Ejike will fare well with his dribbling and creativity. Iheanacho has to improve or someone will take his place in the national team but i believe he will improve. At least last season was impressive and this season has just started |

Subzero47: So i get you. At least central midfielders that support the attack exist but they have to be defensively sound. Na name dey change. Attacking midfielder still dey. They just have to mark more |

Subzero47: Im not really sure. The central midfielders at least have to support the attack. I mean box to box midfielders are still attacking midfielders. I don't think they are phased out. They are just redefined. I dont understand that statement. Your central midfielders cannot concentrate on defence for 90 minutes and you cannot overrely on your wingers. |

Subzero47: That is why his off the ball movement is not good. He is not really an out and out striker like Vardy. He is just an 8. The problem is i dont know if he can play as an attacking midfielder like Kevin de Bruyne. His talent is somewhat confusing. A technical league will pay him better. 1 Like |

Iheanacho is a supporting striker in a technical league like the Italian league. The English football tradition is too dumb and unintelligent to understand his game This may sound somehow but English football sometimes destroys technical players like this and this is why i don't rate English football. Anyway, the guy just wants money and he has it. He does not have the ambition to change his club or league 1 Like 1 Share |

I have a feeling Samson Tijani might emerge as the star player of this generation. I mean he has that aura and attention from big clubs. Just last year big clubs were fighting over him. He his a central midfielder that can attack and defend and he is cutting it in Europe at the first time of asking. He might actually be the kind of player that can develop early and play in big clubs in a few years. Mikel and Celestine Babayaro were like that. Maybe Rohr sees something like that in him. |

Danielnino00: The idea most youths have at the back of their minds is that we are playing rubbish and Nigerian players are not good at all. They are carried away by the European leagues (especially English). This assumption of their is overrated as Nigerian football is producing it's stars but with time they will see it as new Nigerian players take over the big leagues of Europe 1 Like |
