If you were a spectacular foreign born in the top 10 countries with a good chance of playing for your birth country you wouldn't think twice

You have a point but there are some foreign born players that are very good but will find it difficult to enter the first team of their country of birth. Playing for Nigeria may be better for them. (Tammy Abraham will have to wait for Harry Kane e.t.c). The problem is we will always find a player from one place or the other (our academies, foreign born, local league etc).
With the rate at which we are producing players, we should go far and it will be exciting to join it. Well, time will prove everyone wrong or right

If i was a foreign born player, i will join the Super Eagles. With the current crop of players we have (Both junior, senior, foreing born etc) we have an exciting project in which we will dominate African and World football for the next 10 to 15 years.
I mean players like Akinkunmi Amoo, Samson tijani, Karim Adeyemi e.t.c are still on the queue for the future.
Any foreign born that does not join us now will regret it because places are getting filled up fast.

ABOUT HENRY ONYEKURU

1. Monaco will be foolish to let him go. I saw the Monaco website and he was highly rated just January this year.
2. He must have an incompetent agent, with good marketing he can easily go to mid table teams in france, italy and spain
3. From his stats, i think he is better than Samuel Kalu and Moses Simon, Rohr doesn't give him a chance because we have started having many quality players
4. He may be the most underrated Nigerian player for now.
5. If given a chance he will make it in Monaco.
6. They understand his talent in Turkey that is why they appreciate him

For once i agree with you Komekn. He does not develop players from scratch and this is what i noticed about him.

komekn:

I would not say that.

Mourinho is a manager that is tactically astute, strategic and great at building teams, in this regard OUTSTANDING.

However, he is not a coach, Rogers is a manager and a coach. He develops he molds and improves players in some regards creates players, he pushes them to the next level with individual one on one coaching to improve them and their role in the team.

Then he knits them into a team after talking an average player he transforms the player to another level.

Unfortunately Mourinho cannot do that in many regards Mourinho destroys players, forcing them to become what they are not and in the end he discards them. Mourinho looks for ready made players not playere he can make.

Well, Napoli are reportedly doing some findings on Chukwueze. Are they interested?. Only God knows.

Oga where did you get this news from. I mean the source

ON HENRY ONYEKURY

Aoifootball.com reports that Nico Kovac is interested in him. While Nigerian websites cannot be totally beleived, it sounds logical because when Nico Kovac (present coach of Monaco) was at Bayern Munich, he was actually interested in him. In this case, he should stay and fight for a shirt since he seems to have a new coach that has been trailing him

As per Taiwo Awoniyi, he should spend 1 or 2 years in Belgium and score 15 to 20 goals each season. From there, he can build his reputation and get a better club in the top 5 league

He should join olympiakos is there are no offers

He needs to go where he will be playing abeg, if there are no offers from spain and italy say make e kill him self ni?

I wonder why he is even lacking offers from the farmers league , abi teams like rennes and co no need players?

But portugal is better than nigeria , so what are you saying ?

That is my bet. Average teams in France will want him if he affordable. His Cv is very good. I dont support his going to Olympiakos. He should go to an average team in France and do a Moses Simon (see Moses Simon at Nantes).

Dt was d 2nd world cup of breaking dt second round jinx..but d normal complacency came into play...we av a already defeated Denmark on paper with mouth, looking ahead of d fixtures with Brazil

Not knowing dt a sand is waiting @ d corner ,wey wan put sand for our garri (dt sand really messed up taribo grin grin, and I felt pitied for him..

His goal shld b one of d "quickest substitute goal'" in d world cup history

That team was badly managed. Brilliant players in midfield and attack that can explode in the last third of the field but no team work, no defensive discipline, players were not disciplined, changing coaches every time, players carrying women e.t.c.
That golden generation really messed up. It was really sad. This team was very similar to the Argentine team in 2018 world cup. Good world class players but lots of problems with discipline and team work.
When i hear the younger generation say that Nigeria cannot have good players i laugh because they do not understand our rich history in football

It's a fact
Most FB that choose African countries were not good enough for their country of birth as when they decided to rep. It's not only a Nigerian thing. But I get your point sha. That's why I get hurt when I remember the mess Imama and Aigbogun made of our under 20 and under 23.

Any way my opinion on the guy has not changed, he's a descent back up to oshimen. And I think he's just being diplomatic about it considering the fact that he plays in Belgium

Football academies are making up for the faults of imma and Aigbogun. Besides, the last u-17 will make it. Samson Tijani is already at Red Bull Salzburg and akinkunmi amoo at Hammarby. We have many youngsters who will shock everybody soon. This is what forieng-born worshipers don'r realize. These foreign born can dissapoint us and if we don't develop our players we will be left with nothing.
anyway our home boys our coming up even though the foreign born worshipers on this site do not beleive in them.

TheSuperNerd:
Dele Alampasu keeps his first clean sheet for Ventspils.

Alampasu played all 90mins+ as his side played out a goalless draw away at FK Tukums.

FK Tukums also had three Nigerians in action, lads who just recently signed for them this transfer window, Pam Dalyop Samuel (joined from Ventspils), Olabanjo Ogunji (joined from FK Jelgava) and Emeka Basil (joined from FK Jelgava).

It seems there is an awareness or movment among latvian football officials to buy players from Nigeria. Our academy boys are really rushing there

He put every foot wrong in that game.

Not really, the Algerian midfielders were too technical for him. Algeria has many technically gifted midfielders in the xavi, okocha, kanu range and if you are just average you will be caught out if you play against such a midfield. We dont have players like that. Iwobi is trying but he is not okocha or zidane. He tried his best but men those Algerian midfielders were too technical and creative for him. Ismael Benacer is better than Iwobi. Iwobi is good but put him up against a world class play maker and his limitations will show
