BascoVanVeli:Your knowledge of our local league and grassroots football is highly commendable. I appreciate it a lot |
feelme2020:TIME TO MOVE FORWARD |
Bolowolowo:No i am not |
Joel Obi has started playing well for Chievo Verona in Serie B Should he be invited again? I am not sure. The last time Rohr gave him game time, he did not play well. I think he may be back in form since he is playing regularly And so Rohr should give him a chance and see what he can do If he plays well or not is left to him BUT if he plays with that form he played with under siasia where he was a good play maker/central midfielder, it will be good. Football is uncertain anyway. It will be good to try him since we are short of options in attacking midfield |
Philosopher1979:good for you |
Arabiandude:It is easy, he allready has 2 goals and 2 assists and he has a lot of matches to play |
BE EMPOWERED NOW |
Peter Olayinka with an assist for slavia Prague |
hatakekakashi:He should reach double digits in goals and assists this season Something like 10 goals and 11 assists will be nice |
good |
Good |
Clint02:Im not talking about that. Olayinka's decision making is better. He is generally a better player all round. I just mentioned that to showcase how good he can be To me Olayinka is a better team player |
Good for you |
owbabs:That is the problem. Tactically Rohr is suspicious or at best average. This is why sunday dare (the sports minister) is trying to change his assistants and give him match readers. With a good coach, our team can go far. He should try and invite more midfielders into the team |
fabyom:I think Peter Olayinka is underrated. He is one of those players that even though they are not in a top 10 league, they are very good. He will move to a better league next season as a lot of teams are already interested in him. Rohr should use him ahead of the overrated Emmanuel Dennis of club Brugge or even Chidera Ejuke I repeat next season he is going to a better league. Remember his dribble against Barcelona |
BascoVanVeli:I may be wrong but the Onuachu i see for the super eagles cannot do anything with the ball at his feet. If you give him a pass, he cannot pass back and make a one two. If you remember Iwobi's goal against Cameroon, he passed to Ighalo and ighalo passed back to him and then he scored. If it is Onuachu he will not pass back and will simply loose the ball. His ball passing and progression is very poor. Maybe it is different at his club. I dont think he can shoot accurately in the box 18 or convert low crosses. He is not also mobile and aggresive as in he does not press and his speed is not exceptional. Apart from air balls, what other strenghts does he have |
BascoVanVeli:How do we get the best out of him in the Super Eagles. What formation or players do we play to maximize his strength If Rohr cannot think of a way to use him then we should stop inviting him. |
Good one |
andrewbaba44:You know what, i think Foreign borns can collaborate with us in ways other than playing for us or not. Our foreign borns can start or sponsor football academies and even sponsor football clubs in Nigeria. They can connect us with the architecture of European football and help our grassroots football at club and grasroots level. Tammy Abraham can start or partner with a football academy in Nigeria and help us get foreign trainers from Europe. they can even help with tactical konwledge of the game by partnering with our clubs and football academies. The national private investors league is comming up and our foreign borns can help in cash and kind I hope nff or someone reasons along this line. Collaborating with us does not start or end with playing or not playing for us. Our foreign borns can actually help our local football develop |
andrewbaba44:Bukayo saka is already cap-tied to England. Even if he changes his mind it is too late. He has already played 4 times for England. So let us move on |
Good for now anyway |
ashawoKGB:African born players have this mentality and it is their greatest weakness. Even Ademola Bankole left leipzig when they were benching him. I dont know but being born in Africa limits greatness to having money. Africans are not concerned with setting a record for generations to come but just being rich which is limited |
Paul Omo Mukairu starts today for Anderletch. Match starts at 1:30pm I read that Vincent Kompany (Anderletch coach) rates him highly. I wonder how good he is and if he can really explode |
Get it now |
CAN OLA AINA PLAY AS A WINGER If our wingers are injured can Rohr use ola aina or zaidu sanusi or ebuehi as an attacking winger. I mean this can be an interesting tactical option. Also Awaziem can be tried in midfield to mark. Also Ahmed Musa because of his pace and energy can be tried as a striker. He plays better as a striker I mean some wing backs can easily play as wingers Also chidera ejuke can be make to win red card and penalties for us with his dribbling skills. Give him a roving role. Tell him to dribble inside the box 18 and try and win penalties for us like kanu used to do Also iheanacho as a deep lying striker can be an attacking weapon if he know how to use him. These are interesting tactical options but i doubt Rohr's tactical capacity or innovative mindset. |
quickberry:Good, the guy is developing very fast. He will become world class at Hammarby and probably move to belgium in 2 to 3 years time. Clubs like this are good for our youngsters as they can develop without pressure. Those big clubs would have destroyed amoo's talent with all their pressure and discrimination. He is a star for the future. He may become like Hakim Ziyech if he keeps improving. I hope he goes to the u-20 world cup and maybe Rohr can fast track him into the team but i dont know if he will be ready for the Super Eagles right now but players like this can be tried in a dead rubber match or in a friendly. I mean if we beat sierra leone home and away then we have qualified and so the rest of the qualifiers can be used to try these kind of players |
andrewbaba44:Zuby has a great future. With all his injuries he was able to convince his club to sign him permanently from the Egyptian league. The team he is in is campaigning in the champions league and defeated Manchester United recently. Immediately he came back from injury, he was in the bench. If he can force himself into the main team and perform excellently, then Rohr should call him. Besides, the Turkish league is a decent league and about the same level as the Belgian league so if players from the Belgian league can play for us why not players in the Turkish league As i said before if Obinna Nwobodo and Muazzum can have a stellar season then Rohr should call him. Already Nwobodo is getting close to the first team as he played for an hour in his last match and he received the second highest rating for his team according to footballcritic.com Muazum plays in the 6th ranked league in the world and he is even playing regularly for cd nacional. Even in his last match he had an assist. If he continues with his form, he should be integrated into the national team. This will replenish us in midfield and strengthen the team |
