It is disheartening that the (B.Ed) graduates of University of Nigeria Nsukka, Nwafor Orizu College Nsugbe campus (2011/2012) are yet to receive their statement of results, not to talk of 2012/2013. The unwarranted delay by the Management in processing their statement of results has kept them stranded for more than two years. Consequently, they are not available in the labour market nor available for enrolment into NYSC.

Please this medium should help to escalate to find out what is wrong with the management of the Institution and programmes and the cause of the delay.

Please does any body in this forum know the update on BridgeGap /TCN test held at Enugu? Has the interviews been conducted and recruitment done?

I could not lay my hands on the constitution for now; can anybody tell me if the constitution says that the political office holders who wish to recontest election should resign their offices prior to election? If so, why is it that our politicians are not doing so?

In fact I weep for Anambra for its political instability since inception of democratic rule in Nigeria - 1998. How can three Governors emerge from one state within one term of governance? During these periods of legal and impeachment battles; I have no doubts that the attention of both the House of assembly and the executives of the state would be distracted from developing the state . The House should have allowed Mr Obi to complete his tenure. Nigerians should learn from  advanced democratic Nations like USA on how impeachment is done: not what one can just wake up and do.

A lot need to be done by our government to salvage the situation of unemployment. Graduates should be empowered financially after graduation. Look at the NYSC Sheme: Graduates came out of the scheme to become poorer than the were before their enrolment into it. How can you give somebody money with right hand only to collect it back with left hand?The money is just for them  to take care of themselves throughout the period, that is all. I have no doubts that the scheme favours those who could influence their posting. I am suggesting that the total sum of money  earmarked per person for the one year period be given to each of our graduates after the three-week orientation camping. This will go a long way to empower them. No more posting to the place of primary assignments. With this, they can start something.

Nigeria has all it takes to be aworld power. The poor management of resources has made it not to be so. We have great talented graduates who have not been gainfully employed to contribute their own quota to the development of the country. If these human and natural resources-Nigeria has been blessed with- could be properly harnessed, in the nearest future Nigeria will be one of the technologically and economically advanced nations.
