Pearl1910: To be honest, This rental contract is based on 6days a week. Just use the day ur car is drying out to be ur rest day. Truth is even if u work 5days a week, u still meet up with ur rental without stories. Owner never asks for more money when driver makes double the amount he usually makes due to surge, so why should owner accept less because driver didn't work one/two days for whatever reason.
If u put yourself in the owners shoes, God will speedup your promotion.
Before anybody comes for me, I started driving another person's car, today I have people driving my cars and I am still an active Driver. I believe that counts for something in terms of experience in this hustle. Mr. Preacher, I hear you... If na so life be many people for don get promotion reach heaven |

deedee44: Your comment should be for drivers with good partners. What do you have to say about partners that are hell bent on collecting full rent despite seeing how the streets of Lagos are? My thought exactly... Like the current talks now or weekly remittance. Sane thing i did when I was renting is what I'm doing right now. No work when rain falls heavily, so maybe 3days work per week. |

Godfather10: With this your ideas, l wonder how you will cope if you travel abroad, nobody does all this greeting or want to know you, all they want is to get from point A to B. In a comfotable car. I guess you are joking anyway, cos all this your fussiness will get you kicked of the platform Sharp, sharp. When you get to Rome you behave like a Roman... So boss no shakings. Mind you we also have foreigners who make use of the app here in 9ja and never for once have I heard them asking such questions... What they do is call to inform you of their whereabouts not even asking of your location. |

donfortune48: If you make over 30k daily, then it's fair enough to pay 2days money out of the 7days in a week to the owner of the car.
60k weekly rental is fair enough with the kind of dashboard we see here. Mind you, yours inclusive, so maybe using yours as a yard stick remittance should be 8k weekly... Lol As for me the only time I made 120k net was during the era of 3% after 20 trips on Uber... Even with this bolt daily bonus of 2k after 10 trips I'm still struggling to net 100k weekly. Now I'm being frank here... Net oh I said not gross... The highest I've done recently a day on bolt is 25/27k I supposed which took about 11-12hrs online for me... Now after that long hrs driving do you expect or think same person can still do same hrs the next day and the next day? When I no be robot. Now, yesterday I didn't go out at all due to the traffic that dealt with me on Friday I got home drilled out, after 1am I entered house...was only able to do 3 trips on that very day Friday... Mind you Tuesdays are my resting days so I didn't work ... This is the reality many will not come out openly to say but as for me I'll always stand by the truth. Look at the experience BAZ001 just shared... Would an owner prefer rent at 45k weekly and get hus car destroyed after a month or do 25k and let the driver work and have adequate rest and his car last longer? Which would one prefer? 30k to me for a single man is still now bad because you cant compare a single dude with a married man but 30k for a married man to me? Is a big No! Take it or leave it! Lastly, anyone that wants to rent @60k, 35k per week or wants a deposit its up to that person after all no be help the person buy motor. |

MrCarter577: Guys, how far with riders changing destination Oooo?
I was on a trip within Surulere, next thing when we got to destination, rider said, we're heading to Lekki. What's the best thing to do?
Sshould I change direction to Lekki; will Bolt calculate the first trip within Surulere, and then from Surulere to Lekki? Or should the driver allow Bolt app to calculate fees for the entire trip? From experience, don't allow rider change destination especially if they didn't add the stop from the request just continue like that till the very end. But if the first request was without a surge and without a added stop and you suspect there could be surge in your present location then explain to the rider you are chasing bonus so you want the numbers to add up so he should make another request by making sure his location and location of requestion is ok so he can get you. In the case where he didn't agree tell him you cant wait besides you don't want to go to lekki now due to the water. |

DonnyE: I am really surprised that alot of guys here boost of making over 30k a day here, how come 25k remittance to car owners is recommended? Meaning the owner of the car of 2.5M is only getting one day of work. Or it's not possible to make over 25k a day? It doesn't seem fair to car owners. Oga the op asked question how much is recommended, since you have a standard amount drivers make daily then recommend something to him na. |

Matrix414: First you put out an advert that you need drivers for uber/bolt
A lot of people would definitely call you that they're interested.
You'll let them apply, and when you finally get someone your mind goes with, let him provide verifiable guarantors, usually 2, then you both agree on your terms. Terms in terms of weekly remittance and maintenance together with other things you'd like the driver to know.
Talking about convenient weekly remittance, it varies, 50k could be convenient for A while it's 70k for B, but on a general neutral note, it's 25k weekly payment.
With all these said, you're sure to have your car up and running with steady influx of funds.
However, I'm an experienced taxify driver with active account and I'm in need of a vehicle on rentals, I'd like to work with you hence making this whole process less stressful. There are people here who can vouch for me.
I anticipate to hear from you.

radautoworks: You sef ehn lol. GPS has limitations and while it can be very accurate, there is still a margin for error so when one building had multiple entrances/exits it's possible to be on the wrong place. That's the case at the airport. They're so used to it when they see someone looking confused they just point you around the corner
At my house sef, Uber always puts the driver around the corner for some reason. Someone that doesn't know will be waiting. One of my friends knows to always manually move the PIN because their apartment used to be a hotel and the entrance was changed but Uber still takes drives to the old entrance which is now a wall lol. You can't ve wrong about this... GMap have a large room to improve i must say, the world is fast developing and people tend to make use of these services and patronage is always on the increase, so a need to step up their game. I have experience a lot on your experiences shared trying to pick up riders and the smart once always call to inform me GMap will direct me through the wrong path but some wicked one will just request, throw their phones into the couch or bed and jump into the bathroom for a quick shower leaving the driver to hover around finding his way. To some large extent I like the bolt riders app, for those rider who understand their environs well they watch the driver on their rider's app to see if he's doing the right navigation to them and if he makes the wrong turn they quickly call to redirect him... Ive had several cases like this and have also taught riders how to use it as well. So in a but share, yje question "where are you?" Without any form of salutation to me is not welcome, it creates a wrong impression about the person even b4 pickup... Off course I won't tell you but I may not rate the person all 5star at the end. Also, google should do more by updating their app. |

radautoworks: Do you know how inaccurate the pickup pin is (at least here in the USA)? Half the time they are at a different entrance or part of where they are picking you up and you are standing somewhere else like a mugu? Even at the airport they'll be at a different door. So I always ask where are you so I know where to meet them. Oh! So... I tot they said the GMap is 100% accurate in the US?! I'm surprise reading this. But you know what? I've noticed one peculiar thing about riders, most of them don't like turning on the location of their app b4 or while making a request. This can make or provide wrong PU. On 2 different occassion I tried educating two elderly people on this, well learned people but they said, No! People can track me with it. I was just wondering you know. Most youths are also not left out on this act especially our yahoo geng boys and girls... So this is most reason why drivers can arrive at a different PU other than where you actually want them to be. Okay, 2 nights ago I was somewhere in surulere and an elderly woman I supposed requested, from surulere to ikoyi, when I called to confirm her PU I discovered she was actually going to surulere from ikoyi... Had tje location on her phone being on she wouldn't have had such a problem. Though some times I understand the location can not be too accurate due to some street not meeting up to yearly registration or tax payment so google won't carry it on the map but it will pick a nearby address. radautoworks: you see yourself? I said let YOU not you meet me. Ok sorry my bad... Oya request me I dey my house like this my iyawo say at least make person with personality and dignity still c9me visit us for house |
