Weightless:
And you complain of jp 30k a week. So a partner should remit 25k a week and should be responsible for the car maintenance and minor fixes, if you follow this advice you car will not last 7month.
people like you will rough handle owners car simply because they're responsible for repairs and maintenance... Even when accident happens you'll pocket money given to you and then park car at owner's place.

But change the narratives to them and see how they change their driving pattern and recklessness changes and reduces and the stories stops.

And just like okada riders, you guys knows everywhere and almost everything whithin Lagos, just as you can tell more about the current state of 3mb... I have not passed there this year but you may have passed 3 or more times this year, so you have more information/knowledge than I do in that system.
No be lie bros... You're absolutely right.

Lagos to Kano... All the riders I've taken to local airport going to Kano has always been airpeace oooh and it as always been through MMA1 which is the old local airport. Maybe you can try Airik always.

@ Felicity,

Pls what's the market value of 2 acres of cassava at full maturity.
Ha! Boss this is base on a lot of parameters oooh. Like of your farm location, agr of the cassava(12-18months are always expensive), spacie, the season/time at which you're selling, how well planted the farm is, maintenance of your farm, animal invasion and a few more.

Like in Benin where my farm is situated, we at feltheoagrofarms sold an acre for N250k immediately after the lockdown.

Ma'am the categories of cars I consider too big for the hustle are cars with bigger engines like V6 and above.

People use 2010 and above for the hustle and they are still having good income. If you can afford it pls go ahead but it will be wise to instead get a Toyota because a day will come when you'll consider selling the car and its imperative to consider the resale value when compared to the year, model and class of the car. So I would advise you buy 2010 corolla.

Boss my episodes are as a reault of verse experience and challenges of life I've encountered and if all you get from them is confusion then I can Only say you've not started experiencing life in its fullest.

Anyways, experience from the picture below, mutual benefit insurance.
The man that ran into my car gave me N50k only, a reclaim form was given to me by my partner from his Ins. Agent. I drafted cost of repair and wrote my statement, took a snap copy of the other man's Ins. Doc (3rd), stated amouth that i received. Every expenses was drafted on a latter headed format of the mechanic with his account details. Everything including pictures forwarded to Ins.Agent for venting and processing.

The whole process can take a month or there about but if you have a good rapo with your Ins.Agent you can have a reclaim within a month.

That's for comprehensive I don't know neither have I heard where 3rd party insurance gave or did anything. If you have experience before please share let's also learn from you.

I hope that with these few points of my with pictorial evidence I've been able to convince and not confuse you need not take both cars to insurance before accident issues can be resolved.
Approximately 2months after car has been fix... Owner sold it.

You know say you long epistle they confuse people most times rather than convincing.
Are you saying you don’t have to take the victim to the insurance company?
All you need is to take pictures and go to insurance company to get refund ?
Pls if you ve done that before give me the insurance coy nam.

Well the little I know about insurance, they will rather pay your mechanic/ parts than give either of you cash just like that. They will get estimate from your Mecho or offer to take to their own Mecho if you don’t mind. So at what point will dey pay back , by only seeing pictures and not the main car ?

I have actually never driven it beyond LUTH premises and that's just one time. I drive a hybrid Lexus against all odds as set by Mr dru23.
Get it registered and recruit a driver for it then. 25k is standard for a corolla. Don't do 100% maintenance but pls dont ask me "why?"

Fix the car to a good standard, that's if it has any issue. Carry out the first servicing. Body work? Fix it and spray.

The driver should be taking care of servicing at every 2000 or 3000miles. This us how you shiuld go about it.

Reset the "A" odo meter then tell him to bring the car to you @every 2000,2500 or 3000miles (according to professional advice) for servicing and when he's coming he should come along side a semi synthetic oil (it's N5,500 for the now). Oil filter maybe 1500 or the 2.5k own. But if you choose to use full synthetic Sir please know that no driver will be ready to do that from his/her pocket ooh so you may have to come on that.

As for the maintenance, let driver handle minor issues but if at the end of the month the accumulation on general maintenance that very minth is above 10k and within 20k on his path with a total remittance of N100k, then it will be nice of you to do a refund to him like a bonus for that month.

For cases of accident, theft and other kinds... Sir pls get a comprehensive insurance. For minor scratches and bashes driver should be able to take care of it without even involving you or the insurance company. Me if I jam person or person jam me I take care of it without even involving my partner unless it's very serious. i.e how me I work ooh. I can't talk for another person.

Insurance companies wey get sense should know that they should install a tracker on their cars. You can install yourself for person tracking and to aviod stories like the one luxerydriver posted lately on his channel.

P.S: pictorial evidence of repairs in your absence should be forwarded to you WhatsApp for records keeping.

Am I missing any thing? Please ask where necessary.

These are the few managerial skills I've acquired in my few years on the hustle.

To the main matter
Bros, Abeg if na you I tried settling the issue of insurance after the accident this morning, how did it go ? Cos I realized the Uber lady wasn’t ready to use insurance and me no get time.

House let me brief you.
There was an accident in Surulere Uber lady red Toyota Camry and Uber guy grey Toyota Corolla. Corolla guy was at fault and agreed to use his insurance but the girl said 3rd party insurance won’t work, I tried to convince her that it works but didn’t agree, she called plenty people to intervene. Na there I run i need social distance biko.

But I wish to know how far cos after 3hrs they were still there
You hit my car and you've a 3rd party insurance and you're telling me to talk to your insurance while i let you go?? Azin you dey mad nihuh For Inside this obodo 9ja? Even if na comprehensive insurance you get who cares? Ogbeni cover the cost from your pocket while you dig it out with your insurance yourself for a refund. Why would I be that still need to go pass through the stress of going through your insurance for a reclaim before I can fix my car or after?

The guy would have settle the lady and then take pictures and other evidence needed for him to reclaim the money he gave her from the insurance. Simple. He'll pay more if they find themselves for police station.

This is the advice you would have given to the guy bros not trying to explain to the young lady.

Why vehicle is not registered? It was imported by my colleague thru his brother in canada, the plan was to give it out for uber, there was delay in shipping and other logistics, by the time it got here, his documents were ready and he needed to leave Nigeria permanently, so I decided to buy it with the intention of reselling it later. I only bought it to help him raise money faster for travel expenses .
Oh ic.

I'm sure its not your only ride, if its not then you can give it out on rental but if it is I'd advised you drive it yourself.

I have a question for you, I have a 2007 toyota corolla not registered, is it possible to get a driver who would deliver daily? 25/7. A colleague bought the car but leaving the country so I bought it off him. I know this is not the model you guys operate, I just want to know if it's possible.
Bros abeg use style employ me na I dey find motor like this self especially corolla 07. But Bros we can start with 20k for the now then move to 25k after the covid then gradually go up to 35 and even 45 during festive seasonsgrin

But on a more serious note... The 07 corolla is a good car for the job trust me... As for the 25k weekly at the moment? Sir I can only speak for my self oooh, I can only rent at 20k for the now then maybe as the covid restrictions improve then we can have an upward review.

You can give a try though but make sure the person you're renting to is not a rough and bad driver so you don't go spending all the income on maintenance and repairs.

No! you can't see anybody that would rent on a daily because most renters it's their only source of livelihood so they'll need something stable and guaranteed for a long period.

To clear my curiosity, why us the car not registered? I thought you bought it from somebody?

What state are in? If you can drive yourself, come to Lagos and buy then get it registered and then drive it down yourself. Though number plate sometimes takes time to come out so in that case you can park the car at the dealer shop till everything is set.

But make sure you get the service of a mechanic b4 you buy... GAZZUZZ or blackbishop can help out with that at a token.

Hype or not, you can't compare Honda to a Toyota when it comes to reliability
Keep kuet dia!

Talk of resale value pls don't bring reliability into your sentence. The civic is even more reliable to me than the corolla. Is it not corolla dat the body is soft like paper?

Last week when I was going to rad auto works for routine check we stopped by at oyingbo market to buy some stuff, it was when we got to phase1 I saw how the back fender had compressed inside as a result of agboro relaxing on the body of the car.

You can't use a corolla 2 straight years without having to change something on its AC component... It AC is too prone to fault but a Civic can serve you a life time with just changing of filter and topping of gas.

Its a normal tin... Your present rating is not what you see on your app...

You could even see 4.8 on your app whereas its 4.78 on yhe rider's app.

This is the reason some drivers think rating drops after some cancels. It just that your recent update have not been updated accordingly.

My elders I'm the house do not be deceive for the devil your Advisory is seeking and looking for whom to devour...

Elders, only rider ratings has power on your rating same as drivers' do on theirs... It's probably a completion of your 40th trip.

All trips weather completed, you cancel, you did not respond, rider cancel or what ever has a threshold of 40. Meanin, there is a general rating preview at every 40th trip on Bolt.
