jahmarsh: Bro, please what are the things they check in cars at the inspection centers for uber and bolt? Seat belt AC Tyers (dis doesn't include exp date) Dent/scratches (body neatness) Traffigators lights and headlamp Interiors neatness FRSC equipment Validity of ur car documents Fee is N2000 each UBER from year 2000 Bolt from 2003. If you have any dent that is visible make sure fix it b4 going. If the dent/scratch is minor just ignore or tip them, it's not corruption, and in educational curriculum it's call led royalty (ground softening/watering) in the English man's context The last time I took a car for an inspection, a clean tok I still tip the guy to jump que from No 25 to No3. Naxo some guus just dey look me as I dey com or because I spent notin less more 20min, else wud have spent all my day there. So good luck |

peeps4u: With the down payment of 300k, you dont need to be skeptical. The 15k weekly is fair enough to the driver, you may advise him to increase to 20k if he can, the earkier he finishes the payment, the better for him.
Give the young man a chance, being a new driver isn't supposed to be a stumbling block. Everyone of us was once a new driver. We only create a fuss around being an old driver on the platform, every smart person will quickly adapt and learn on the job within the first few days. As a new driver on the platform when I started, I did only uber and I was doing very well. The most inportant thing is driving skill. God bless you. I couldn't have said better. |

pope191: The point is ur waiting time will b added to the fare, when and if only the ride made it to the start up stage How about waiting time inbtw stops nko?? That's should have been d reason for this new price review and not just wait time b4 start of trip. If wait time inbtw trips is being charge N24/min then you would see no rider would want to keep a driver waiting for too long. That guy you just quoted has a very valid point. I've had a rider cancel and did another request after I'd waited for almost 15min. When she was ready to get to me she cancelled and quickly requested again because she knew I was the closest driver to her. And when I complained to BOLT as at then, "we don't advise drivers to wait for up to 15min for riders" was the reply I got. I just said in my mind "i blame una". |

jpworld: This particular trip, i have been paying 900naira for my son, despite traffic because of the road construction, but now they have finished road construction, the road is free and the fee is constantly 1300 without traffic. Bros you still didn't get me do you? Make a snap shot giving a breakdown of your fare. Uber usually sends receipt showing amount, time, distance and waiting time included in your ticket. Bolt does likewise. Check and lets compare. Thank you Sir. |

Ghost1994: Drivers on rental will take it with even 1,500.
They need to meet up with their high target.
Naso yesterday I got request on boltscam around Gbagada, I quickly drove to pu to my greatest surprise I saw five riders 3 guys and 2 chubby ladies.
R. Oga we be 5 oh M. I can’t carry 5 Na 3 be max R. One of dem don talk say let’s cancel Jaare we took Taxify yesterday all of us and he no complain. M. I’ll help you cancel here (naso I reverse slide arrive and cancel after 5mins) this people are going to ajah the trip of 5k+ which I Haven't gross 3k by that time.
But another driver came right their carry 5 of them with ac and zoom pass where I parked.
No union in this game everybody just Dey do anyhow.

jpworld: When i saw this at first, i believed it, then i sit down and calculate, then i realize it was pure lies and highly exaggerated.
Drivers use between 100 to 150liters of fuel weekly. So i will go for 150liters.
150x148=22200 (old rate) 150x160=24k (New rate)
So the extra fee a driver will spend for the fuel highest 1800. So he should be able to bear it, car owner is not Buhari.
Spare parts has increased more than 50% in prices, car price have skyrocketed.
What am i trying to say, if any driver comes up with fuel has increased, we are unable to meet up the rental, withdrawal ur car immediately.
Another thing drivers don't know, uber/bolt has tactically increased their fare, without making it public.
I use to book uber from ogudu to Corona school gbagada, sometimes twice a week for my sons training.
The fare use to be between 900 to 1100, but now is between 1100 to 1400.
You won't notice the fare increase, except u r the passenger. Oga its increase is due to time spent on the trip and not because of the increment on fare. The fare rates are still d same. Bolt= N65/km; N10/min n N200 base Uber= N60/km; N11/min n N200 base fare. its] Go to your mail and show us a snap shot of these trip both previous and present let's do the calculations for you.
Even a cripple knows they need more time to arrive at their destination in Lagos presently compare to 1,2,3,4 years back. How much more you who claims you drive as well to know what is viable for your drivers. [b]I've waited like for ever to see your dashboard earnings, all you post is that of your drivers, their names and faces. How disrespectful and unholy you are and you call yourself a business man with integrity. May God help you and protect your drivers. All roads that leads to Old Trafford are under construction how then do you think travel time won't change? Simple things are not simple. |

Carshopper: Even dangote na Bsc that year 2 PhD, 220 MSc degree holders applied to the government's N20,000 weeping job recently. Nigeria is long dead, reason I say I don't blame owner partners requesting 30/35k weekly to rent a car. The labour market is over saturated. If you can't do it there are a 1001 person ready to have sleepless night to do the job. Nigerians are not just hustlers but just for the sake of hardship and lack of opportunities and good governance. Reason we'll continue to have increase in cyber crimes and rituals. peeps4u: LOL. Weldone sir. A financially conscious person will be worried about every kobo rise in cost of running a business.
Let me burst you. Do you know you can use this same analysis as if the price increase means nothing till the price gets to 500?
Imagine from 160 to 170, sebi it is just a 10 naira difference. From 170 to 190, sebi it is just 20 naira difference.
.......and it goes like that.
Govt has nothing to do with faring, all I'm saying is drivers should ask for a better pricing from UberBolt. BRT, NRC, and even FAAN like every other things have increased in prices You failed to remind him that pump price for pms was N87 (don't know if I'm mistaken) just 5years ago. 141samuel: Elders in the house, what am I going to avoid being blocked, Delete your rider's app from the phone where you have your drivers app running. There's always an interference between these two apps when they run instantaneously and this triggers a signal to the far end of the uber server. This message is what returns when such signals are received at the far end of their server. |
