Continuation.

Called rider to cancel because I can't start trip without him and then my N200 is go but baba said he would refund me when I come. Paid the toll and was trying to rush to PU knowing I'd spent much time. Since it was Sunday I never expected that police men where hiding somewhere waiting for people that will make a wrong coming out from ICM entrance 2. As they flagged me down I didn't even argue, I just open door for one of them to come in,

Police: trying to say I made a wrong turn
Me: smiling and talking friendly with all loyalty, "official II know watin I do, no stress yourself explain", "just hold my key my last rider na trx him do for me".

Came locked my door, gave him keys "officer make i use ATM". He collected thw keys but called me back saying, "hold your car keys".

Just as I was about withdrawing 2k my rider cancelled.
4 trip....

Got to pickup, rider was a young looking guy in his mid/late 20s. Started trip, destination:- dolphin estate, paypemt:- card.

Me: ha! Bro I need cash and u r using card. I need buy fuel. Can we make this a cash trip instead?
R: ok I'll give u d 2k I've on me to buy fuel when uber pays you you transfer my money back to me.
Me: No no no pls... I don't want to be tempted pls... What if I fail to transfer back your money I don't want to be caught in the middle by my conscience.
R: If we cancel this now remember there's a base fare which will twice d cost on me.
Me: hmm! So what do we do now? (The last time I tried to go the rider's way I paid dearly for it partuling away with N2,200. (Was just thinking in my mind))

Las Las. We did offline 2k.

R: yes that reminds me, same scenario happened exactly 2weeks ago and the driver has not transferred my N3,200 that i gave to him.

Rider put the driver on the call. After introduction.
Phone was on speaker so i could hear the convo.

Driver: bro what happened is that Uber has not paid me for the past 2 weeks now...bla bla

After long talk I requested to speak with the driver.

Me: Guy I'm a driver like you on uber and right now I'm on a trip to his house in VI, guy you've no excuse transfer his money to him asap else if he complains you know uber will block your line asap.

Driver: Guy are you threaning me... Uber never pay me for 2 weeks.... Bla bla....

Me: You're a liar send his money to him. How would you collect cash and same time got paid via card trip?

Las Las... Rider pleaded with the guy to send him his money in 2 weeks when ever uber pays him.

In my mind i qas just wondering, who are the parent of this young man? So calm, humble, down to earth...

Rider requested for my account details... Boom! Next day Credit apert!!

So long I'm renting you car I've every right to do what ever I wish with it provided I dont bridge the contract signed evennif it N5,000 we agreed I pay. It is what is it, business. so stop crying a foul when no one hasn't hurt you.

To that guy that is looking for a rental, this is for you. If jpworld contacts you accept his offer but be very smart in dealing with him, make sure your record is straight and before you sign any clause with him make sure you're okay and comfortable with them. To be fore warn is to before arm.

No rider is worth your sacrifice!
The other day, I picked up a rider, going to seme park (mile2). As we got to the destination, rider said the park was still in front. Meanwhile, we passed. I asked bike men around to confirm. One bike man told me the park was just behind us (we could quickly reverse). As I put am for reverse, LASG show face out of no where. They blocked the car and asked rider to come down. The rider self wan rush come down (he said he would walk to the place). I told the police man that the rider must follow us to where ever they are taking me to ( I didn’t end the trip then because I knew police were gonna take our time). The police guys said we were going to oshodi. They asked me to drive. On our way, negotiations started. They asked me to pay 10k, I beat it down to 5k. Told rider that he must pay half the money or else I will seize his phone. Baba paid 2.500, I paid 2,500. By this time, we had gotten to isolo again, we had to turn back, trip ended 4500. I moved on.

This point pained me.
But the one that painned me the most was.... The police told him to turn back and go drop them where he picked them. Which means he has the option to turn back without paying.
What stopped him from turning when they refused to let him pass without bribe?
I wonder even more... What also stops him from collecting money from the rider to settle police.

Then other time I mentioned something like "softening the ground" and "royalty dues" some called me "corrupt". I just looked at them and smiled.

I believe this guy in question took docurum from jpworld 's advices which was from an experience one of his "supposed" driver's had. I remembered telling him, issues/troubles like this can be avoided with just N200, N300 or at most N500. But baba say lie lie na only court go settle d matter, till today we never hear full scores or weather them don release him motor or how much he spent or loose all the while car was impounded. Ordinary sense some people no gree get.

For the past 1 week I'd been arriving home past 1am-2am. The day b4 yesterday I was after Abraham Adesoya in A jam at about 11:15pm and I arrived my place exactly 12:07am with just 3 police checkpoints stopping me. I did my highest speed ever since I started driving

Last night I left VI 12:15am, settled police 5H b4 I got home... In fact what more can one say... My people perish just because of lack of knowledge. Nigeria police are the most easy going people and to deal with, just be clean and pay your dues to them. If you think say e easy to stand for inside sun in black uniform go and join the NPF then you'll begging to appreciate and respect them.

I hope he and other drivers learns from this afyer he comes out of this trouble.

Excuse me everybody. This driver's badge. It's causing confusion o.

I got to the Old Secetariat ikeja for it. Weytin dem tell us b4 na say 4k.

What they told me is that, we will bring driver accreditation confirmation which will be collected at the Lasdri, oshodi. Then come with the paper (picture below) with road worthiness of the vehicle and sum of 11k for the Badge.

Wait is the badge fto Train Captains?
I shock, i even de follow them argue.

Izzou, felicity0001, eyinola and others. Please confirm this. I de overthink now

Anyways, for those who wants to know more about it. That's it right there.
You will pay 1k at the Lasdri oshodi for confirmation. Then take the slip to Old secetariat, Code of conduct at Ikeja, show them the slip and pay 11k (Jesus)

That's all
And this so call badge is to be renewed every 12months I guess.

So I got a trip from kpako to ikorodu this morning around 10am or so on a 1.7 surge so I went ahead with it.. ended trip and surprisingly got a trip from there (around holy Gabriel temple)to bariga..
We spent almost 2 hours on that trip.
Ended it and the girl who her boyfriend ordered for us telling me the fare cannot be 3350(fare was actually 3850 but for discount) , that she takes that trip and it’s never close to that amount. I told her to take it with bolt only for the stupid bf to call and was asking me for fare review. That I manipulated the gps..
I changed it for the guy and he sent me this.
Telling me that my mates are stealing good money and I am stealing 1ks... e pain me. But I no blame am.
I go sha report am.

Bolt riders and headache are cousins.
Brotherly you don't need to allow such bad energy people to deter you from what you know is right. Most times when people see they can't get to you they try to use some sensitive words like this to get to your mind and when I'm faced with such challenges I tell myself this "you're not the reason I'm out for work" so get thy behind me!.

Similar thing happened to me today as well. From Off Ago Palace way to Ajegunle. Trip was on a 2.0x surge(Uber), I never knew the lady was gonna blow out like an oil well when the trip ended, N3700. Madam was mad... Said almost every word that entered her mind and all I was saying was "sorry ma'am" till I got my money and drove off. The funny thing is, her husband was d one that requested d ride and gave her d fare, she called d hubby ordering him to call me and find out...

So bro, just ignore, delete message and m9ve to the next request. No be them carry you come outside.

Seems these guys want to aggressively take over ehailing company for uber with their 2016 model cars.

The lady that was supposed to verify my guarantor's bvn delayed the process for 1 week for reason best known to her but by the time.e they called for me to come for the training proper I'd already gotten a better offer.

Post the trip details of the trips you had when it was #900 and the ones you had recently that is #1200.
