If you are coming from Lekki phase 1, immediately after you pass the toll gate is the left turning to prince Yusuf Abiodun road, you can no longer make a left turning to connect with that road you have to go further down to use Bishop Aboyade Cole road or make a u-turn at the traffic light there and go back to make a right turning to enter the prince xXXXX road.

Picture 1. For people coming from Ligali Ayorinde to connect Four Point, do not turn left, follow the lane marking!

2. Traffic from Prince Yusuf after the Chicken republic turning at Four point, again follow the lane making.

3. One Way sign opposite Four Point, you can’t miss it.

4. There’s a right turning at Land bridge Ave that leads to Palms Shopping mall/oniru shoprite. When you are coming back from shoprite at this intersection, do not turn left, continue straight to go link Lekki-Epe.
Thanks Bros for this info... And to you too northbird thanks.

I will keep a close eyes anytime I'm around there.

Let's assume I'm driving in from ozumba Mbaduwe and heading towards Dmatel hotel, oniru. Is it one way like that?
What if I'm coming from Oniru mosque and headed towards palace road , turning in . Is that one way? Northbird, abeg use my scenario explain clearly. E no clear as you describe am so.
That place used to be my hideout for long trips every evening.
I myselfnim confused... Surprisely since the time the construction of the 3MD started I'd only gone to the Island 3x I think... So I'm really confuse.

@ northbird, are there road signs in place to indicate these new diversions of routes and traffic?

People advice people to take HP over rentals, and I see it as wrong.

Let the person evaluate his life, and see if he can dedicate such period for it. If not, take rentals and walk away whenever you want. [/color]
I've it seems like you have a beef with me you don't wanna talk about.

This is me trying to give my honest opinion and advice I didnt mean any arm to any one and then someone will just come up from nowhere and attack my person. Reason with me, it is good?

If anyone thinks he has no spot in them let them cast the first stone.

Like I stated earlier, the country is barely getting better, so I advised HP to rental stating some reasons in addition and instead of us to have a brilliant conversation as a family some people which includes you decided to throw shades (not me this time) and you think it honourable.

See baba, if I've in mind anything against my past partners do you think i would still be mentioning, qouting or even singing his/their praise? Think about that.

Mind you, we entered into partnership after my first. So, can you see you're the one trying to create an invalid insulations and sane time throwing shades at an innocent man who have not wrong you??

If anyone thinks I've wrong them in anyway, let them come out now and speak or for ever remain silent.

One thing people who live outside the fence should know is, you really dont know what is going on inside the compound. People can come out publicly and act like they're good/bad but inside they're the opposite.

I can walk tall any where, any day, anytime, my records are straight and intact in my dealings with people. I'm not saying I'm perfect but at least I know say I dey try.

It takes a discipline person with integrity to work with a man of principle and thats exactly who dru23 his and I can boldly say I learnt a lot from him the few period I worked with him and what ever conspired during or afterwards I understand clearly and now that to build a successful business especially in Nigeria you need to make some touch decisions, though you might miss it some times and get it right most of the times, yet you have to be strong in decisions making.

So what ever it is I hold nothing against him. It was a privilege workimg work him, many have sort for it but couldn't find it but to me it came to me and I never misused the opportunity. So I'm grateful to God Almighty.

I'm yet to see a man that worked for just a particular firm in his entire life.

It is what it is, Busines.

If I was dru23, my car won't have lasted 1 month in your hand. Your partner was fully incharge of maintenance of your car and at some point, you were remitting 10k per week, yet, you drove the car out of state and back and you were always here ranting about how your partner's car consumes fuel etc and now, you are champion for HP ? I don't know anyone that has completed a HP agreement. The 3 persons I knew, they either returned the cars themselves or it was retrieved.
Kindly answer these simple questions Sir and if you can't provide simple and honest answers please hide your face in the sand like an ostrage, why because you don't shouldn't poke noise in people business like you know all.

1) Are you the ine that rented a car to me?
If Yes
2) Did I bridge any of the contract agreement we entered and signed?
3) Did I at any time default in my rental remittance pre and post covid-19 at each of the agreed amount?
4) Did you in any where mentioned to me either by the signed contract agreement or by mutual or verbal agreement that I as the rentee should not at any time under any circumstance take my rented car(your car) on a trip out of state and I disobeyed?
5) The N10k you claim was too little for weekly rental, did I forced it on you? Did you or not agreed to it? Did you accepted it or not? Did I for once failed to pay for the few weeks? Or did I object to any review of contract i.e at all if you even made an attempt to try. Off course you knew for sure no one would accept a review when he's spending more than 50% of his earnings on fuel due to a faulty component which I was patiently waiting its arrival for almost 3/4months only for you to call for your car.
6) For the 7 months your car was in my custody did I ever call you for day to tell you car was vandalized, damaged or stolen?

Lastly, be honest oh oga since you are dru23, did I for one day offended you starting from day 1 of our contract till we went our separate wayshuh?

So Sir, with all due respect if you can't give answers to any of these question I would advised that you keep quiet and stop quoting me.

One question I ask people who want to venture into HP is: Do you think you can commit yourself, week in week out, driving back to back for the next two years just to own an 18 year old car?

If someone starts a HP plan, and doesn't complete it, he has also distorted the plan of the partner. That car would be difficult to put on HP again
I've a philosophy that belives, "the human being is a sojourner on earth that goes according to the directions the winds blows him.

If you can remember there was a guy that seek advise here on this thread some times back on how he signed up for HP after graduation and just about 9months without any default he got a job which his 3months salary put together can buy him the said HP car? You remember that guy righthuh (I've looked forward to hearing frim that guy to know how he later handled that issue).

Now, the point is, most opportunities come to only the prepared minds and some opportunity comes, but, once in a life time. So it why one should always try as must as possible to always get prepared and then make every time count.

Its no once plan to fail but when it happens you take it in good faith. And if it enters good.

Had I taken the opportunity from a woman that contacted me from this thread while I was waiting for dru23 car for 3whole months by now I would have been planning to roundup the HP but to me all of those months I spent on rental I see it as a waste because trust me I didn't get any savings from those months. I have 2 drivers. One has never driven on rental b4 signing the hp contract. I.e he started uber with the hp car almost 2 years ago if taken the lockdown months out of it. Now, he has like 500k to balance up. Hopefully, soon.
2nd driver has driven almost 3 years on rental b4 signing the hp contract when the hope of buying his car was taking forever. He has N1m to take the ownership of the car. He has never had issue with the partner till date. Meaning never defaulted. I know of that one very well.
I believe if one is very sincere with his weekly remittance, he will surely get his ownership within the stipulated time except the car is problematic one.
Two great examples... God bless you for this.

A great example to learn from.

I know of a bros who has been on rental for almost 3yrs&1/2 till now he's still on rental with no savings at all.

I once took a trip from Chevron drive on 1.7X to Ojota, from Ojota I changed destination to Marina, from Marina to VI,from VI back to Chevron, in all dese stops, I was d one changing d destination and wen got to Chevron, I calculated the distance covered and Time spent on trip manually, so as to Knw if am going to do fare review but lo ans behold UBer calculator was 120 naira higher Dan mine, so I ended trip @17,150 rider paid 17k and I move.

I still picked and dropped off on 2.0x surge on tuesday from southerview estate by conservation center to agric ikorodu.
She decided to update the trip back to southernview wen we got to ikorodu, still carrying the surge estimated fare.
Trip was showing 16k- 20k when she tried to update back before she begged for an offline back to lekki. And it has always been like that for the past 3 yrs i have been driving on uber.
Bros had you not negotiated offline I'm very sure you would have cried Bros this kind tin don do me b4 like twice.

Its possible there was surge at Agric when she wanted to update the trip that's why but the update takes place in an area that has no surge believe you me the initial and final fare would have reduce to normal. And in these kind of trip you usually don't have proof to back up your claim because the receipt won't show the surge in it.

It has happened to me twice bros so I'm sure of what I'm saying base on those conditioning just stated. Can't say abiut your own experience.

Best way to gonis this. You shouldn't have gone for an inspection, I'd similar issue with my first rental, a corolla on Bolt then when my account was still active. The good thing was my partner owner had the inspection report in her mail because she was the one that paid for it so I just uploaded it without doing a new inspection since it has not expired.

So what you should do is try get that inspection report from the former driver that used the car and see how it goes.

If it where uber you would need to go for an inspection to add up to you're profile but Bolt is different, till the previous is expired no driver can add it to their system.

I agree with this your point. However, any criminal who has SURRENDERED/REPENTED should be forgiven or face judicial procedure. killing a man who has surrendered is unprofessional, a VERY cowardly behaviour and breach of rule of engagement.
I understand ur point and how valid it is but it still didn't change the fact he was a wanted criminal.

What he would have done was to ask the state government to come to him while they both walk down to the government House and sign the papers or sign it right there in his camp on his grounds and conditions.
Have you forgotten how Asari Dokubo was arrested during 9JB's tenure? As a bad guy you state your demands and leave the government to proof his honesty.

How are we sure it was not a plan work btw the governor and the army to eliminate him self? Now, do you know there's no case and within a week we won't hear nor talk about matter ever again.

The Nigeria constitution states that, "if you're caught with a weapon, its a death sentence". These guys were caught with weapons, was the governor with him? No. Was the governors SAs accomplaining him when he and his group were accustomed? No. So why won't the Nigeria Army say it was a gun battle?

Anyways, the bible say he who kill by the sword will die by the sword. So he has reap the fruit of his labor. May his soul riot in hell.

Nonsense talk.
A man who surrendered and in the midst of amnesty committee members is kidnapped by soldiers and killed by soldiers and you think it is a great feat, eh? Where is the adherence to rule of engagement? If the soldiers are that great why didnt they capture him in battle?

I know that the main reason for killing him is because he exposed the grand plans of the fulanis to capture some states in Nigeria, particularly in the middlebelt region.
What has Nigeria done with all the expository news criminals, repented BH/militants and politicians have dished out in times pasthuh?

Listen boy, giving amnesty to criminals is not the way forward, otherwise, you encourage youths to enduldge in crime because they know once the government can't catch or kill them within a short while tje government will call them together and grant them amnesty, given them a mansion in Abuja and then make them lord.

Look at the Niger Delta, see the likesbof Asari, Tompolo, Ateke Tom West and others, these are men that rack the nationals economy in the name of fighting for the people meanwhile they're just fighting for themselves and their stomach.

The earlier the government stop granting amnesty to criminals the better so that anyone that has the mind set of going into crime would prepare his or her self that death is the final result.

Call it rubbish or hate. Its the simple truth.

The governor's account is 110% the true account of what transpired.
The army said Gana was killed and hundreds of his militants captured when their convoy was intercepted at about noon.
We should ask ourselves how Gana,a wanted man with N10million ransom on his head, would brazenly go about at daytime with so many fellow militants with weapons. They were by the army's account then confronted and he got killed while others were captured with no confrontation or casualty on the army's side!
Haba, some of these authorities give releases with the apparent assumption the same dumbskulls that voted Buhari are the same audience they are speaking or writing to.
The same army that have casualties anytime they confront barefooted or slippers wearing, untrained BH terrorists.
The same army and government that frees BH terrorists and even compensates them is the one now giving this clearly false account of what happened.
The truth is that Gana and other militants must have been intercepted by the army, they apparently told the army their mission to government house to surrender ,which usually is made more dramatic with the surrender of some weapons, they apparently handed over their weapons to the troops;but someone still ordered Gana alone be shot dead.
Any other tale is cock and bull.
Gana was killed and he may have reaped the reward of his deeds, but not in a confrontation.
Oga leave all these lawyerlic stories,

D guy was a wanted criminal
A bounty was placed on him
the government declared amnesty to him
Criminal has not surrender neither has documents been sign
Therefore, the guy remains most wanted until documents are signed and he declared a free man by the amnesty law biding.

Thanks for responding.
The reason I don’t want to do hp is that the bus will also be serving me. Cause it would be expensive to transport my equipments when I have a job.
I Dey reason to collabo with person wey get warehouse so getting jobs would be easier.
I also have someone who can follow the bus to anywhere(as per bus boy).
I just want to know if it is weekly payment or on percentage? Or will I place driver on salary?
Bros the only way you can use your private car conveniently for both family runs, personal business and transportation earnings is you drive it yourself and park it when ever you don't have any appointment.

Give it to those crazy danfo drivers and die of complains from them.
