The Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has told Nigerians to vote out their president, if they are not
happy with his administration and retain him if they are pleased with him.
He stated this in an interview aired on The Osasu Show.
The monarch said that the electorates have not realized the power they have and urged them to

When asked what government must do to better the lot of the Nigerian youth, the Ooni replied:

The President Ohanaeze Youth Council, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, has said the United Nations would soon send a delegation to visit the Nigeria any moment from now to address issues concerning the quit notice given to the Igbo in the Northern states.

He said the visit will be in response to the petition written by the Council to UN over recent quit notice issued to Igbo.
Isiguzoro who spoke during a Phone-in-program aired by the Abia state-owned radio station on Monday insisted that except a referendum was conducted in Nigeria, the country will continue to witness agitations in many quarters.



He, however, expressed the hope that the outcome of the visit would bring a permanent solution to the current impasse in the Country.

He observed the current agitation would have been averted, if not for the constant neglects meted out to some ethnic nationals in Nigeria, ranging from appointments, employments and sharing formula among others.

Isiguzoro also lamented that Ndigbo have always been victims of unrest in the north despite their enormous efforts to develop the region.

He called on the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, to call for Youth conference to address this ugly menace without further delay.

Ayemi-Botu, who is a paramount ruler of Siembiri Kingdom, Delta State, made the observation in Warri, when he played host to a delegation of the United States, US, Consulate, led by Paul Hines, Political and Economic Adviser to the Consul General, who visited to find out how Niger Delta communities were fairing under the leadership of Osinbajo.
According to Ayemi-Botu, “Acting President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, harped on the indivisibility of Nigeria and the illegality of any opinion opposed to that based on the constitution.
“Without fear or favour, the Acting President goofed in that thinking. The constitution is dynamic and amenable to change. Buhari came to power promising change, and change we want.
“The 1914 – 2014 treaty of amalgamation of Nigeria by Lord Lugard is gone and expired. Added to the force of the 2014 confab and the glaring inequality among groups where Niger Delta, the goose that lays the golden egg, is perpetual second- class citizens, the indivisibility of Nigeria has become too shaky to tarry.
“Under the circumstance, the peaceful way to go is restructuring and the best tool to achieve that is referendum. That is why we call on the US and the developed West to prevail on Federal Government to allow referendum for people to fairly determine where they want to be.
“Individuals, groups and zones can raise sentiments, but oil, particularly the vast reserves in my Niger Delta, the economic live wire the entire nation survives on is the only unifying factor for sustained unified Nigeria. But for oil which makes up 98 per cent of Nigeria’s GDP, Nigeria would not have been.”

But not surprised at all, I've always known Igbos tendency to rejoice at other people's low.

I think the Yorubas should just forget about the center for now and focus on the southwest. With the recent attacks on Awolowo by north I sense jealousy. I also sense a coalition between Hausa and Igbo to send Yoruba's back to the opposition by 2019.

It is time for Tinubu's clan to start focussing on human development rather than just creating wealth. It is very humiliating when the Igbos make claims like we own 90% land in Lagos, we contribute 80% to Lagos GDP etc..

1. Yorubas have always excelled in opposition. This is something the Hausas and Igbos can NEVER survive. Throw them out of power, they'll start causing trouble like Boko and ipob.

2. If the Igbos decide to go into an alliance with the north, it would backfire as the SE has no patience, tact or tolerance to handle people of a different religion or tribe. Even within themselves, they discriminate against themselves and look down on fellow Igbos.

3. Igbos don't own nada in Lagos. They are renowned for illiterate claims as to phantom wealth which they engage in to cover their inherent inferiority complex.

4. Economically, all Igbos contribute to the SW is just the negligible taxes which they're forced and hammered to pay. Hausas supply food and labour, other ethnicities supply other things, only Igbos take away.

5. Even in the area of taxes, the places occupied by Igbos pay the least taxes. If you have contacts at the State Revenue Board in Lagos, you can confirm this. This civic criminality and irresponsibility of Igbos is repeated at the five SE states where their combined IGR is less than that of Kano state.

6. The North also can't do without yorubaland. That is why Dangote from Kano has his headquarters and biggest investments in Lagos. However, unlike garrulous Igbos, they mind their businesses.

Lots of Igbos sold their relatives and families off during the slave trade. In fact, a chunk of slaves sent to Europe and the Americas were Igbos.

I actually believe they existed before Adam. If you think I'm lying, consider thess points below:

1. Gorillas, chimpanzees, monkeys and bonobos were created before man.

Unfortunately it is the truth. I watched the program on AIT. Mantu actually said it when he was trying to prove to Ohiria( hope I got it right), that alliance with any of the big tribe has not yielded much dividend for the middle belt. He sighted that as an example. So it's not only Igbos that have accused Awolowo of tribalism during the indigenization process. The reason the minorities are scared of joining biafra is becoz biafra is not a fertile ground for the minorities. For example, i ve not heard of an urhobo billionaire that made his money from igbo land.
Urhobo has made so much money from yoruba land and the north. If not for islam, the urhobos are more at peace with the hausas than igbos.
The issue of warri crisis will linger on forever until the itsekiris differentiate between ode-itsekiri or iwere (old warri) and warri town ( new warri).
