Good move by the Iyaloja, the SGF, and the Coordiator CTGDF Chief Anibe Achimugu. It is high time we walk the talk on reviving the CTG. Too much old narrative won't take us anywhere. The north will benefit most in this policy because they are more into cotton farming in Nigeria. It goes to show president Tinubu's commitment to industrializing the north.

Moderators pls take this urgent public notice to the agriculture section. There are clarifications the president of that association needs to make because he has quoted by many mediums as saying GM is dangerous yet promoting it.
The president of the association never criticized GMO cotton seeds, those peddling and creating such rumors should stop dragging the association into their activism.
Nigerian cotton farmers are after what will increase their yield which is expected to come from the scientist .

PoliticsNacotan Refutes False Claims On Gm Cotton. by felicitywe(op): 6:07pm On Aug 23, 2025
NACOTAN REFUTES FALSE CLAIMS ON GM COTTON.

The National Cotton Association of Nigeria has denied the disinformation making the rounds, especially on Farmfoodnews, InfoFM Lagos, X (formerly Twitter), Business Day and a couple of other outlets which relied on a false interview on X to create fictitious stories around the association.

In the published disinformation in some mediums tittled, "GMO Cotton Fails Nigeria, Says President", falsely credited to Chief Anibe Achimugu the President of NACOTAN.

The association has come out to put the records straight, she denied that her President ever granted an interview on X or anywhere were such statements were made neither has he ever made such statements in private.

The National Cotton Association of Nigeria labeled the publications a "fabrication aimed at misinforming the public, tarnishing its leadership and undermining the credibility of Cotton Farmers and the Federal Government of Nigeria". She restated her commitment to continue to support national efforts to boost cotton production, at the same time protecting the integrity of farmers and variable information on the activities in the sector.

The association called on the public to disregard the malicious reportage as it is a calculated attempt to promote disinformation and damage the genuine efforts been made in the sector.

As partners in the development of Nigeria, the association called on the media to be weary of naysayers who would want to cause confusion in the society by using the outlets to spread falsehood. She further admonished the media to continue to uphold the principle of fair hearing by offering citizens the right of reply before going to press.

In furtherance of the above, NACOTAN demanded a retraction of the disinformation in seven days (7) and failure to do so would leave the association with no choice but to seek legal redress.

If Nigerians can recall the cotton subsector of the Nigerian economy
was a large employer of Nigerians and a huge income earner for the nation but a myriad of challenges such as
cheaper imports, snuggling, inadequate infrastructure and pest infestations torpedoed her growth.

At its peak in the 1960s, cotton production attained 480,000 metric tonnes (MT) but fall to 20,000 MT in 2020. In recent years progressive efforts has been made by NACOTAN under the leadership of Chief Achimugu to see to revival of the cotton value chain. To the credit of the association alot of progress has been made. The association now has data of cotton farmers, across the country for productive outcomes, it is promoting mechanized and contiguous farming for easy farming management and supervision, encouraged the cultivation of high yield varieties for bumper harvests, signed an MoU with security agencies for the consumption of local cotton fabrics, added to these are the pursuit of a CTG clearing house and the establishment of a CTG Board. So the disinformation flying around is unfortunate and a fruitless effort to drag the sector backwards.

PoliticsRe: Drugs From South West Responsible For Banditry, Insecurity – Katsina NAFDAC MD by felicitywe(m): 3:33pm On Sep 15, 2021
DefHQ:
The newly deployed State Director of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) in Katsina State, Abdulsalam Badamasi, has said that drug supply from the south is one of the major factors responsible for the security challenges experienced in the state.

Mr. Badamasi, during a courtesy call to Governor Aminu Bello Masari at the state’s Government House, pledged to use his wealth of experience in the drug field
to mitigate the menace of drug abuse in the state.

The state Director of NAFDAC said he was in the government house to inform Masari about the agency’s lined up programme towards mitigating drug abuse in the state.

According to Badamasi, under his watch, only wholesome regulated products would be allowed to thrive.

He equally pledged to join hands with sister agencies and security outfits to decimate to the barest minimum the menace of drugs in the state.

While thanking Masari for the cooperation and regular support NAFDAC enjoys in the state, Badamasi said there is need to embark on mass public enlightenment in schools to sensitise students on the consequences of drug abuse.

He further said as part of plans to win the war against drug abuse in the state, the agency will be partnering with the state government to develop and promote Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) in Katsina State by creating enlightenment through mass media campaigns to empower intending entrepreneurs with the right information.

To that effect, the state NAFDAC boss, appealed to the governor for free weekly slots on the state radio and television to enable the agency actualise this goal.

He equally, appealed for supportive vehicles from the state government to enable the agency engaged in door to door enlightenment as the one the agency has is not enough to cover the state’s 34 local government effectively.

“Your Excellency Sir, I want to assure you that I will do my best to ensure that only wholesome regulated products such as package food and drugs are provided for Katsina people to consume and I will also ensure that I collaborate with other security organisations and other related bodies in the state to ensure that we mitigate the issue of drug abuse in the state because drugs are behind most of the bandits attrocities and other insecurity challenges we are experiencing in Katsina.

“A normal person cannot just wakeup and begin to kill his fellow human beings except under the influence of drugs.

“I have been privilege to work with NAFDAC for over 20 years and I have been working virtually in all parts of the federation. I have been to lots of places.

“In order to achieve that, your Excellency Sir, we have to embark on mass public enlightenment in our schools, that is the secondary schools and even our tertiary institutions as well, so as to sensitize our children on the dangers associated with drug abuse.

“We sincerely appreciate all the support that NAFDAC has been enjoying from its inception to date in Katsina State during your regime and other regimes that came before yours.

“In the same vein, I wish to assure you that we will give our maximum cooperation as regards issue of MSME development. NAFDAC is a critical stakeholder especially in the ease of doing business.

“So we will be partnering with the state investment promotion council to see that all these MSME intending entrepreneurs are encouraged to come and register their products with NAFDAC.

“So we want to use our local media especially the state radio and television to present certain programmes as enlightenment.

“Your Excellency, as you are aware, there is financial constraints everywhere. We may not be able to sponsor such programmes so I want to appeal to your Excellency to allow us or to give us the privilege of using the state media, the radio and television to present perhaps weekly programmes about enlightenment about NAFDAC activities in the state,” Badamasi said.

In his response, Governor Masari assured the agency of the state government’s cooperation while emphasising particularly on MSME development which he described as the backbone of any society.

South West is actually exporting this madness to other parts of the country. Any place you see Southwest women selling "agboo" , you will see the gathering of hoodlums, criminals etc. The more youths are taking these substances the worst they are. Those women contribute in destroying our youths in the North especially at motor park. They should be stopped.

In view of the CBN and the president’s efforts to diversify Nigeria’s economy from oil to agriculture under the Anchor Borrowers Programme, the National Cotton Association of Nigeria, NACOTAN has acquired 93 John Deere Tractors that will be distributed to farmers so as to improve cotton production in the country. According to the association President Mr Anibe Achimugu, “ the tractor will fasten land preparation and assist in eschewing every form of delays associated with timely farming”. Speaking further, Mr Anibe said that the 93 tractors have been handed over to two service providers, AgroPro and CamTrack to manage effectively and provide suitable services to cotton farmers. He also used the forum to inform the general public on the cotton farming method being adopted this season known as contiguous farming which would increase the tons of cotton in Nigeria. The association looks forward to individuals who can provide above a thousand hectares of land for contiguous farming and every necessary input and assistance will be given to up take cotton farming on a large scale.Already 119,000 hectares of land has been earmarked for the season across 24 states of the federation with Ogun state having 2,000 hectares. Meanwhile cotton farming has been revived for job creation and income generation along its value chain.

AgricultureRe: Pmb Set To Make South East, South South And South West Hubs Of Cotton Producers by felicitywe(m): 3:09pm On Aug 06, 2020
reality1010:
President Muhammadu Buhari is bent on making south east , south south and south west the hubs of cotton production in Nigeria. These three geopolitcal zones were not centers of cotton planting in the past compared to the Northern part of Nigeria where the cash crop had thrived and a crop used in the development of the country. Through the National Cotton Association of Nigeria and the CBN Anchor borrowers programme, the Southern part of the country has been integrated into the scheme to boost agriculture and economic diversification. Already thousands of people in all the local governments in this part of the country have been mobilized with fund, land and materials to start up. This gesture exhibits the committment by PMB to intergrate every part of the country into his administration and to make them independent from oil.
later they will say buhari is not working whereas he equipping them to be big time cotton farmers. The south will be the one to enjoy this opportunity because they will adopt mechanize farming compare to the north that has been into subsistence farming.

The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) on Wednesday dissociated the Ijaws from the agitation for Oduduwa Republic and urged those behind the moves to steer clear of Ijaw lands and territories in their quest.

Kennedy Olorogun, Chairman, IYC Transition implementation Committee spoke to newsmen in Yenagoa following reports credited to Chief Ayo Adebanjo, a chieftain of Afenifere associating the Ijaws with Oduduwa Republic.

Adebanjo had in media reports credited to him included Ijaw territories as part of proposed Oduduwa Republic as indigenous People group for United Nations recognition.

Olorogun noted that the Ijaws were a distinct ethnic nationality and do not to be subsumed or used to agitate for relevance and advised those behind the plot to have a rethink.

“Ordinarily we have nothing against people fighting for self determination because it is in tune with our aspiration as a people.

“However, we note that in a recent presentation to be part of indigenous people organisation of the United Nations, the promoters of the Oduduwa movement included Ijaw lands and territories in the present Edo and Delta States as part and parcel of the Oduduwa Republic.

“We wish to state clearly that though we are not against the aspiration of the Oduduwa movement self determination movement, however, Ijaw lands and territories should be left out of the composition of the Oduduwa areas.

“The Ijaw people are indigenous and distinct people in Nigeria and Africa and not part and parcel of any other ethnic nationality in Nigeria.

“The Ijaw territories of Egbema, Okomu, Gbarai, Olodiama and Furopagha in Edo State and Gbaramatu, Ogbe-Ijoh, Isaba, Egbema and Diebiri in the Warri Federal Constituency of Delta State which were included as part of the Oduduwa Republic are not Yoruba lands but owned by Ijaw people.

“We call on the promoters of the Oduduwa Republic to henceforth not include those areas as part of their Republic. We are not part and parcel of their Republic and do not wish to be part of it.

“We also call on the Indigenous people organisation of the United Nations to take note,” Olorogun said.
There is need to warn Yorubas about this attitude of sneaking in to do things. It should be the last time they will consider Ijaw land as parts of Oduduwa Republic. They should never ever dare to consider Ijaw land in Edo state or Delta State as part and parcel of their territory. When did Yorubas begin agitation for seccession and to form a republic. Yorubas think we v forgotten how they betrayed our son Good luck Jonathan and they worked to scuttle our son's hope of the presidency. They want our oil in Ijaw land, funny enough, having occupied Shell and other oil corporations in Niger Delta thinking we can be fooled. Ijaws v woken up to all other ethnic groups in Nigeria.

It s no longer news that APC is in crisis, deep internal party crisis. What is baffling is that every chieftain in the party has agreed that there is need for reconciliation to bring in aggrieved members because it will help the party to replicate its victory of 2015. Unfortunately Tinubu does not talk about this crisis rather he tells the world that everything is well. He tell PMB that everything is going on fine and he abuses his uncle Obasanjo. Could Tinubu be doing this intentionally? Does he really want PMB to winner the 2019 election? Well his moves and body language are saying something.
PoliticsRe: Innoson Adds Robotic Arms To Their Car Production by felicitywe(m): 9:41am On Jun 29, 2018
ariesbull:
Innoson, Nigeria's first indigenous car manufacturing plant located in Nnewi, Anambra state has added another feather to it's cap by making its production like automated. This is for efficiency and mass production. The robotic arm that the company has introduced will drastically reduce the manhours used in producing cars.

As Innoson Vehicles introduces robot in car manufacturing, upgrades from manual to automated production, this is set to increase car production from 10,000 to 60,000 capacity per annum.https://etimes.com.ng/innoson-adds-robotic-arms-to-their-car-production/

"Innoson is the FIRST (and only company) mass producing Made-In-Nigeria cars, something most African countries only dream of.But unfortunately, Buhari & Osinbajo have not been able to pay a courtesy visit to Innoson and at least say, "Well done." This visit should be a way of encouragement and boost in the moral of Buy Nigeria To Grow the Naira mantra", said Stanley Nwabia, one of the residents of Nnewi.

"It is pertinent to note that before the emergence of INNOSON as an indigenous automobile manufacturing company it was a mere pipe dream and almost impossible to realise. Today, INNOSON has broken the jinx and shown with their innovation, that indeed it is possible to manufacture automobiles in black Africa and Nigeria in particular", Chukwudi Enekwechi added while applauding the company on the rare technological feat the company has achieved during the Award Ceremony at Nnamdi Azikiwe University.

Today, INNOSON’S venture into local automobile manufacturing has spurred other companies to embark on local production of vehicles. Presently companies like NISSAN, TOYOTA, MECEDEZ, DANGOTE are emulating the good example of INNOSON in this direction.
Innoson can increase his production capacity and profit making by aligning with the Head of Civil Service of the Federation and NLC and TUC in a way of giving out his cars to workers so that they will pay installmently annually or in 15months. Through this means many Nigerians will own a car and motor parts will be produced to stem the wear and tear of these cars in future. Once this is done other African countries will follow our pattern. And finally, more production will lead to more invention.

Aba and the Ngwas land is historical. Before 1929 there was a massive demand for the removal of warrant chiefs and consideration of indigenous social political system in whatever composition by the colonial govt.Along the way, the colonial govt refused but with time came the Aba Women roit in 1929 that changed the political equation and removal of Lord Lugard. Aba has been in the forefront of political change and struggle than any place in Nigeria.Recently, the agitation by IPOB for referendum will never die off.Every 1929, 1939,1949 and 2019 is always unique in Aba.History will not fail to repeat it self as Aba leads in changing the political system and liberating Igbos from marginalization.Ohaneze and Igbo political leaders cannot stop it.Igbo sons and duaghters should be proud to take the lead and make use of the Aba struggle for better.
PoliticsRe: Our Grouse With Ohanaeze Leader, Nwodo — IPOB by felicitywe(m): 4:45am On Oct 14, 2017
mgbadike81:
By Clifford Ndujihe
THE Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, yesterday, picked holes in the comments of President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief John Nwodo, that the apex Igbo socio-cultural body supported the decision of the South-East Governors in proscribing IPOB’s activities because the decision saved several lives and doused the tension in Igboland. In a statement by its Publicity Secretary, Mr. Emma Powerful, IPOB said the comments “were lies designed to blackmail and paint us as violent, disrespectful and unintelligent bunch of ingrates and is only an arm of the war declared on us by the Federal Government of Nigeria, using resources earned from the oil coming out of the sacred land of Biafra.”
Lists reasons
The secessionist group gave reasons it parted ways with the Ohanaeze leader, Chief Nwodo.
It said: “When our leader visited Chief Nwodo at his Enugu residence on a courtesy call, Nwodo deliberately arranged a top American official of the U.S Embassy to appear and confirm the presence of our leader at his residence.
“We were shocked, disappointed and let down at the fact that he could not resist the temptation to trade with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s visit to his residence.
“When we paralysed Biafraland on May 30 and the oppressor panicked and responded with a quit notice, the Federal Government immediately reached out to all the zones and Nwodo moved his train to Abuja and met with the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, and announced that checkpoints and appointments into Buhari’s government were our only grouse with Nigeria.
“This is a blatant lie because our leader agreed with Nwodo that Nigeria must show commitment towards addressing our key demand, which is referendum.
“Nwodo did not inform our leader that a meeting was scheduled with Osinbajo despite the fact that IPOB agitation was what led to the meeting being convened in the first place.
“Nwodo did not ask for our input or grouse with Nigeria before going to demand for a few ministerial appointments for his friends at the expense of our freedom as a people.
‘Insults on our leader’
“When the Presidency, without provocation, launched into a tirade of hate speech against our leader by calling him a tout, a nonentity and a scoundrel, who is not regarded as a leader and therefore was not and will never be invited to any meeting at Aso Rock, Nwodo and his local cabal rejoiced.
“Nwodo went to Anambra State House of Assembly to disparage our leader for demanding that the hopelessly oppressed people of Eastern Nigeria, most especially Anambra State, would henceforth embark on civil disobedience and passive resistance, which includes election boycott.
“Nwodo, like everybody else, knows that crowd that attend IPOB rallies and events number in their millions, yet till date no single incident of violence has ever been recorded at any of our gatherings.
“So where does the appellation of a violent group come from? This is a question Nwodo must answer. Everybody knows it for a fact that Nwodo inspired the governors to join the well-orchestrated Arewa persecution of IPOB and its leader.
“Nwodo held a meeting in Abuja with Presidency officials, where Python Dance was planned and approved. He mounted pressure on the governors to proscribe IPOB.”

Very clear and lucid.SE ppl no longer with their political leaders whom they percieved as betrayers. The SE is deep in Biafra and confident of its call for referendum. If the govt is confident let her proceed to the ballot box for this democratic principle and defeat the agitators bc the Igbo leaders will mobilize ppl to vote against Biafra. The govt should give it a trial.

This thread is for every Nigerian.
We keep reading people write things like Ebonyi Muslim this, Ebonyi muslim that, igbo muslim bla blah blah.
We need to clarify this Igbo and Ebonyi muslim story once and for all.
I am Igbo, I finished school more than 15years ago, so you can guess my age.
In my whole life, I have only met one igbo muslim and that was when I served in the north. Before then I didn't even know there were Igbos that were muslims so i found it difficult to believe at first but I was later convinced by his colleagues. The guy was the president of his faculty's muslim students association.
I read about them though, but I never see or meet them, even on TV.
I have also heard one or two Igbos who also have Islamic name, like Mustapha Chike-Obi who isn't even a muslim, I saw one on TV last week Dumebi Abubakar who was on the cast of a movie, and during my national service there was also this Igbo lady married to northern muslim, but she wasn't a muslim.
After I met the igbo muslim during service, I made enquiries and found out there is a large family in Enugu Abdullahaziz Udeh family who are predominantly muslims. Coincidentally, the Igbo muslim guy I met is also from Enugu state too.
This past week, I have been asking Igbos around me(some of them older than I am) if they have ever physically met an igbo muslim, and none has ever met or seen one physically. They have also heard about them but never met them physically.
I am not saying there are no igbo muslims but I think they are just a small number of them.
This is not a hate thread or a bigotry thread, but a thread to clarify.
My question is where are these Igbo and Ebonyi muslims hiding?
Have you ever met an igbo muslim physically before?
I love this thread.OP u crafted it in such a way that fake ppl will not be able to sell their trade.Truth is Igbos dont hate anybody or religion, but dont want d horrors that come with Islam,e.g. Rape,Terrorism,Killings,Rituals, etc.Advanced countries r beginning to close their doors against Islam because of all this.

u r far disconnected.U think igbos play yoruba&hausa politics.Pls wake. For d thread, everytin he said is thrash.U should pity PMB,can u see dat d old man lacks capacity to deliver.D man is old good for islamic community socio political org not a complex socierty like nigeria.

@wanimo:
Nnamdi Kanu called him a slave and he ended up reciting how many masters he has served in Lagos State. For the past 18 years, your servitude has been unbridled.

You served Tinubu for 8 years and today Tinubu is a national leader of a party. You went ahead to serve Fashola who also served Tinubu with you. That's another 8 years of servitude while others are progressing. Today Fashola is a minister and you are still serving Ambode.... Probably another 8 years of servitude. Osinbajo whom you served alongside with has progressed to become Acting President and you are still serving. When will your servant career end

This guy has dealt with Joe.U adviced him to write this story,d person has finished him.

NNAMDI KANU CALLED ME A HUNGRY SLAVE RESIDING IN LAGOS AND I HAVE FOUND THE NEED TO TELL MY STORY AGAIN FOR RECORD PURPOSES. I WANT NNAMDI TO TELL HIS OWN STORY TOO. PLEASE READ THIS:

In 1971, after my primary school education, poverty drove me to Lagos to find something to do to help my poor mother and siblings. Civil War devastated my father’s thriving business in Onitsha and we all suffered from 1966 to 1970 when the war ended.

With four wives and 34 children, my parents could not cope any more. My brothers and sisters dropped out of school to learn a trade. Because I was a little ‘sharp’ in school, my father encouraged me to finish primary school. It is needless here to recall how I and few of my siblings survived to finish our primary education. Consequently when my mates were taking Common Entrance Examination, I did not because there was no need to do so. No money, no three square meals a day, no good clothing, just nothing.

My mother encouraged me to travel with friends to Lagos. We landed at Sawmill Ebute Metta where I worked as a sawdust carrier at seven Shilling, six Pence a day. My job was to pack sawdust from the Machines to the Lagoon from 7am to 5 pm daily. I did this for nearly two years and later I became a danfo conductor plying Idioro/Ajegunle axis. From there I joined my brother in a supermarket business at Ijesha Road, Surulere. I did this until I returned home during Christmas in December 1973. I came home to meet my friends I was beating academically in school trying to make me feel and look inferior. Again I also noticed while in Lagos that if I fail to go to school, I may end up doing menial jobs meant for illiterates till the end of age. I decided to go back to school to add values to my life. But where are the school fees? There was nothing. How I managed to get the first school fee to start and what happened thereafter will take a book to do the narrative.

In 1979 I left Okongwu Memorial Grammar School Nnewi with Division One and was the school Head Boy. I taught in the same school as an Auxiliary Teacher from 1979 – 1980. In 1980 I got admission to read Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nigeria Nsukka and graduated in 1985. I did my Youth Service in Ogun State and thereafter I returned to Lagos in 1986 to begin a journey to where I am today. I walked the streets of Lagos from 1986 – 1988 until the then military government headed by Gen Ibrahim Babangida set up the National Directorate of Employment, (NDE) to encourage graduates to start their own businesses. I got a loan of N27,500, using my NYSC discharge Certificate and my Degree Certificate as collateral at 9% interest rate. I set up a Restaurant Business in Western Avenue, Lagos and hit an instant success. While doing this business, I spread my nets also to the auto spare parts market in Lawanson, Surulere where my brother thrives as a very successful importer. I opened a shop there and got a boy to take charge of the business. From there, I entered into Auto dealership in Western Avenue Surulere. I paid back that loan in full and collected back my certificates.

In 1995, I wrote my first book, Igbos: 25 Years After Biafra. I also established National Vision Newspapers in 1997. In 1999, I wrote my second book: Heroes of Democracy. In 2004 I co-authored 2007: The IBB Option with my good friend, Peter Claver Oparah. One thing led to another. I became an opinion molder, a public commentator, political analyst, writer and an advocate of the peoples’ cause. I bought my first car in 1990 and became a millionaire in 1995 after launching of my first book.

In 2006, the then Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, made me the pioneer General Manager of the Lagos State Infrastructure & Regulatory Agency (LASIMRA) and I was there for almost 10 years. I served Asiwaju’s government for the remainder of his days as Lagos Governor. I served His Excellency Governor Babatunde Fashola for 8years. In September 2015, His Excellency Governor Akinwunmi Ambode moved me to Wharf Landing Fees Collecting Authority Apapa as Chairman. I became the Publicity Secretary AC, ACN, and APC since late 2006 till date. By the grace of God I have been the Chairman of Conference of APC Publicity Secretaries (CAPS) in Nigeria since 2014.

These positions and exploits have put me in the limelight in Lagos and Nigeria since the early 90s, and God has been kind to me. These offices have opened the doors of the rich and poor to me. They have opened the inner ways, byways, subways, expressways and highways to the corridors of power in Nigeria. I have been connected to the pace setters, policy makers, the movers and shakers of blue chip companies, newsmakers and the powers that be in Lagos. The magic of Lagos, the beauty of Lagos, the dynamics of Lagos, the glory of Lagos, the momentum of Lagos, the capacity, capability and the strength of Lagos touched me in no uncertain terms since 1986 (32years ago) till date…..and still counting.

My sojourn in Lagos for 32 years has also opened my eyes as a historian as to what Lagos has done for my people from South East. Today as I write this Igbo do not have a quarter of what they have in Lagos in the South East in terms of investments. As I write this book, Igbo are the second most populous ethnic group in Lagos. Today, Igbo exert tremendous influence and capacity in Lagos and its success story. Few years back two prominent sons of Nnewi told me in confidence that they did not know they have been wasting their time in Nnewi until they came to Lagos. They said Lagos opened doors for limitless opportunities and endless possibilities. I have seen people come from other parts of Nigeria to hit gold mine in Lagos.

I got married in 1990 and all my five kids are all Lagosians and so are millions of Igbo kids born in Lagos. They have lived most of their lives in Lagos, schooled in Lagos, worked in Lagos, made friends in Lagos and have keyed to the Lagos success story. They know any other place except Lagos. Lagos is their home. This is not limited to Igbo alone but all other ethnic groups and of course Yoruba from outside Lagos. Lagos is a melting pot, a mega city, a cosmopolitan beehive. Lagos controls the heartbeat of Nigeria, its wealth, its influence and its strategic socio-economic and political hub. Lagos changed my thinking and original thoughts, Lagos emboldened me, Lagos motivated me, Lagos challenged me and Lagos made me. I can say no less. This is the story of Lagos, my Lagos. It is still unraveling, not for me alone but millions of other Nigerians, to the glory of God."
You dont even v a story and u r looking for attention from NK.I was hoping to read how u were beaten by thieves and agberos in Lagos. How u escaped gbomogbomo in Lagos. How u slept under d brigde. Joe u r funny.
