All aboki are senseless...see the trend in this forum. |
Wow, first time i am hearing Nigerians speak with sense of pride that is justifiable. The SA erred and rightfully apologizes, and i can see the angle that the Xenophobic complex came from. These people are simply scared of Nigerians, if they have their way, Nigerians shouldn't exist at all. They have found out that the best they can do is go toe to toe with us and from what they learn from Nigerian retaliation:The era of big brother is over. Kill one and i will kill Seven. Bravo 9ja. At least for this one we are proud of our own government. |
If you think you look better, show your face joooooo. |
We ought to encourage one another in any way we can in this country. What is bad if i invite you guys to visit my blogs just so i can get some constructive comments from my fellow country men. http://felixedet2000.hubpages.com/ |
You don't have to wait until you make the money of your wild imaginations, whatever one has is always enough to start something with. I did that and it a testimony today, if i had waited maybe I'll still be waiting up till now, who knows, thanks God it was so. |
No, that's not hacking. |
I have a warning for you Mr minister: If in your school of thought it is appropriate to negotiate with a terrorist, be clear about this. This is Nigeria, and we the people of this nation will never negotiate with terrorist. Mind your utterances, say what you mean and mean what you say. Brief us on pro-active measures to stop this madness please. |
One of the ways by which we can keep our relationship alive is by saying those beautiful words that expresses the way and manner we feel toward the one we love. Have you said something sweet and lovely to your wife, girl friend, pastors, imams, president and all those who are so dear to you? Over to you: just how much do you love your partner? Say something here: |
We should use fora like this to discuss constructive ideas and innovations and not waste it discussing about people who have looted our treasuries. i have tired and fed up of hearing names like sanusi,el-rufai and co pls, nairalanders, channel your energy towards something positive and more constructive like: How to move Nigeria forward, and don't be under any illusion that it is going to be thru the so call SNG. |
Why are we so quick in condemning others as though we are without any form of flaws whatsoever? |
will any woman marry me please? |

Christians and Muslim: What must we do to co-exist in peace? Nigeria is the most blessed nation on earth, our strong point has been taken over by Satan and his human agents. If majority of Hausa are moslem, then The Igbo are Christian while the Yorubas are mixed:Why can;t Nigeria learn how the yorubas has been able to live with two major religion and yet there has never been a day that they fought one another on this religious issue? |
how do you know about weed if you are not a smoker, i guess that's what you do |
Are we sure we are not being colonized religiously by the west and the Arabs interests? Christianity came from the west, Islam from the middle East: Why are we fighting for a trademark that is not ours? Are we mentally retarded in this country is all i am asking. I advocate a new African religion base on family morals to take over the whole of this nation and by extension Africa. Let have your opinion dude. |
you love cork:that's why you think dump? |
Some people see nothing wrong with cheating, to some it is a way of life to others it just a way of repaying evil with evil. What do you think in your own personal opinion, not that of any other person is the right thing to do when face with the dilemma of marital cheats? Bearing in mine that the crime is a horrible one for that matter. |
This post is for those who knows that they are very ugly, or you have a picture of any person you consider to be a juju face, post it here, if you are that face:Accord yourself the benefit of the doubt and wait for the miracle that is coming afterward. Some people are out there looking for ugly faces to marry: The uglier the better, because you will then be pretty sure you'll be the only person that is going to cross over the v junction all the time for the guys. And the ladies are definitely sure of theirs all the time too. Who goes first? |
i will tell you something GEJ has done in the last one year that is worthy of mention. , he oversee the 2011, that was adjudge free and fair by internal observers, need i remind you that the last time Nigeria receive such commendation was during the annul June 12 elections, i know to you that is nothing, but in the international community that's the beginning of things. , GEJ wisdom is the brain behind the initiation of probe into the activities of NNPC, to you i know it is nothing, but wait this is not going to be the last you have heard of this probe. Should i continue? If you were to be the president, what could have been your achievement in the last one year? |
you have to understand my tone and i am sure you do, lawyers ought to consider matters of National important sometimes, corruption is our bane and i am not saying those charge to court for corruption should not be defended, what i am saying is that in our case, it seems our esteem lawyers are playing to the gallery. And in my own view, i don;t see the NBA and the Judiciary council doing anything worthy or mention to collectively fight this menace call corruption in our country. They are in the system that has the ability to checkmate and eliminate corruption, yet nothing seems to be coming from that segment of the society is all i am saying. Why are defense council always smarter and more brilliant than prosecuting council in Nigeria all the time a high profile case is in view? |
naijaking, i am humble by your understanding of the situation that we are in, many nairalanders simply see this forum as a place for them to vent anger at whoever is not in their good page, that's alone is an hybrid of corruption. Is it good luck Jonathan that turns NNPC into the headquarters of corruption in the world, what goes on there is not 419, they have improvise corruption in NNPC, to 914. The new corruption dogma. |
The same applies every where, that's the reality of human society, is it fair? |
I would not have to worry about the laws if the lawyers play by the rules, yes unless you want to hide from the realities of Nigeria's defense council whenever high profile crimes are taken to court. We can;t continue like this, if one system is not working we have to switch to another with tact. I only said lawyers are essential part of the problem and of a truth they are. Reason, they share from the loot bounties abundantly, who wouldn't wish the status-quo remains, are you a barrister, i hope not.But anyway lawyers are doing very well for the country no doubt, but i find it appalling when a responsible lawyer defend a confirm criminal in the name of my client. What a dangerous and unjust world. |
The lawyers must be carefully checkmate, because apart from the looting politicians, lawyers are the next in line, they work tirelessly to defend criminals with all manners of obsolete laws formulated during the British occupation of Nigeria. |
Good , it shows you are a typical Nigeria, firstly. , Let know less of our problems, because we know too much of our problems and that alone has become a monster of a problem. , Let change our attitude and values to the core values of life. , Henceforth looters of the treasury should be summarily executed, no trial once, there is evidence of looting, execution should be the next point of call, and we have to be very sincere, because some of the victims can be our parents and relations. , Free Education. , Payment of allowances to every citizen of this country. , Henceforth, no political appointee is liable for allowances, their salary should suffice. otherwise we make the job part time. , National Cleansing of every child of corruption: By that i mean the extension of the fight against corruption into every fabrics of the nation especially the corporate world. We tends to focus so much on the government and allow the private sectors to eat thire cakes and have them, these are but few from my archives, what about yours? |
Does this phrase reflect the present realities on ground in Nigeria? One nation bound in Freedom peace and Unity: Nigerian National Anthem last line. As we speak, a conference on finding lasting solutions to the endemic politically sponsored and motivated killings and general unrest in the Northern part of Nigeria is underway. http://allafrica.com/stories/201112060832.html What is a Nation: One Nation is a people within a geographical space with one mind, one focus, one destiny and one love for their country/nation. One Nigeria was a popular slogan during the Nigeria/Biafra war 1967-1970, Policy of reconciliation embarks on by the Gowon's Administration was only a lip service slogan. Nigerian love for their Country Nigerian truly love their country, but problem arises when that love has to be practical. Over the year the good relationship and unity that existed among the people of Nigeria was flittered away by the advent of the Military into politics. They sow seeds of discords among the ethnic nationalities in other to achieve their on primordial interest; selfish interest was the vanguard of these men. Patriotism was moved to the back sit, Nepotism, Tribalism held sway. Frivolities, Recklessness, Negligent, and Sabotage were all encourage consciously and unconsciously by the military administrators Press freedom was at the lowest level, state accounts became personal accounts of whoever was in power at the time. Accountability was given a different meaning, the people were accountable to the head of state and the military administrator, and it was business as usual. Re-Birth of Democracy in 1999-Till Date April 29 1999 is a day i will remember for one thing and that has to do with the inauguration of a new civilian administration in Nigeria. The Unity of the country was put to test once more, the were enthusiasm from the populace on what to expect from the new set of leaders that were emerging, It is on record that there has been no meaningful growth in government policies promulgation and implementation. Why so? The reasons are simple, during the years that the military were in power, they were looting and milking the nation in collaboration with their civilian counterpart. When the military were chased out of power by the people, the civilian conspirators were ill prepared to take over the mantle so sudden. They wished the military era never came to an end, but God’s ways are beyond the comprehension of mortal beings. Nigeria is one indivisible entity, a great and prosperous nation, with very wonderful people. Recently: AS the nation enters the golden era after attaining the age of 50 as an indivisible entity, the onus is on the leadership to exert a greater influence on the life of the people. Isn’t that the Primary Responsibility of Any Government? While this may be a bit of a surprise to people in the developed nations, it is a way of life in the other part of the world. Public officers have one Nation One Man concept mentality, If you are opportune to be there as a public officer in any capacity, it’s automatically an opportunity to embezzle all the public funds available. The incentives are very lucrative for stealing public money, some of which are 1. You earn the public perception and accolades you will never have for being honest. 2. You become and instant success story, Relations and friends uses the opportunity to give countless testimonies to God for a final break through from poverty. 3. The Nigerian police are ever ready to give you them maximum protection for stealing public fund. Why do they steal when given the opportunity to serve? a. If they don't steal, their friends and relations will castrate them in their minds as a monumental failure. b. They will have no public respect and will never get call to deliver any public lecture anywhere in the country Why this mentality: The answer is Greed. What is then the meaning of National Unity? National Unity is a phrase by public officers where the populace is constantly being brain-washed to believe that once there is life there is hope. Complacency developed when this hypnosis has been digested in the minds of the people. What is the way forward? National unity is one Nation bound in Peace and Unity, which is only possible when greed and personal aggrandizement is pushed to the back sit and subsequently eliminated thereafter. |
http://felixedet2000.hubpages.com/hub/One-Nation-Bound-in-Freedom Does abuse and insult stop frustration or provide democracy dividend? All i am asking Nigerians to do is to be wiser than what they presently are. These men won't stop at getting us confuse. For as long as they know that we are angry and yet unable to take action, their vices won't stop. In essence we have wasted so much energy being on the side of anger, and you know we require so much energy to be angry than we need to be happy. You can't discover innovations in a state of anger, we need to look inward at our core values, that is if we still have any. I don't know how to put this, but the truth is, we just love criticizing for the sake of it. And if we are ask for our own initiative if we were to be in a position of prominent, we suddenly become dump and norm. This is the way Nigerians behave and i am not in any way comfortable with it. Our politicians and government official especially the minsters and the Judiciary are some of the most creative evil men and women you can find on earth. Federal government, State government, Local government, Judiciary, National Assembly you name it are all bird of the same feathers and they always share the loots together. When it is time for loots sharing, there is not Christian, and Muslim. When will my people wake up? |
Most of us are so quick to forget that what goes round definitely always comes around, it is Jonathan today, tomorrow may be your turn. From 1999, till now, we Nigerians have made it a point of habit to abuse and insult whoever is the president, Obj was call all sorts of degrading and embarrassing names because he is Nigeria's president. Yar'Adua was not spare at all, up till his dying days, the man was a subject of ridicule and abuse by Nigerians from all works of life. Gej is having a hell of a time coping with insults and abuse no thanks to every one else who is not a president. What do we really want as a people, we don;t know what we want judging from our utterances, it is always lopsided, narrow minded, no alternative solution or another way of doing things if plan A is a flop, plan B can be relied upon, yet Nigerians never think this way, We are the problems, it we the people of this country that is to blame, Gej will not be president forever. It is not a certainty that all his actions will be the perfect solution to every problems facing this 160 million people. I think it is high time we toe the path of partnership instead of sidelining ourselves into the tents of hypocrite who see nothing good from an opponent or rival. A word is enough for the wise. Nigerians wake up and unite to fight corruption, not GEJ. Thank you all. |
