I noticed, it's only middle belt and sountherners that were often executed for coups in Nigeria. Middle belt and sountherners lost enough men in the military. I will check which tribe died more in the C130 plane crash of 1992.i hope my fears won't be confirmed

Infact, now that am older, I kind of understand why they did what they did. It was a matter of the Northern domination on the oil rich and literate south.
They failed. That's why Nigeria is still that way till now
Definitely

Men with Lion Hearts, young and ready to change the ideology of Nigerians

Now politics have eaten Deep into the Nigeria Army, that its only the Sons/daughters of the corrupt Leaders that can gain admission to N.D.A

While they sell recruitment slots for poor desperate Graduates...

I Repeat Nigeria issa falied state... Until tribalism, nepotism, and religion difference is been addressed properly.

Will become war tore like Syria in the next 3 years.

They made use of tanks and mainly artillery weaponry. Nice strategy but they focused mainly on Lagos and were ready to cut off the north if need be. Brave men

Meanwhile....

From time immemorial, there have been crazy rulers in the world. While not dwelling on ancient times, we will restrict our documentary to just modern history

Saparmurat Niyazov
Macias Nguema
KIM Jong-IL
Etc

These are less known dictators but thier actions during thier time in power is often jaw dropping and wonderful(sic) to say the least.
Do well to comment on who, in your opinion is the craziest of them all. Thank you, subscribe, share and like the video. enjoy!!

Oga I understand but permit mecto say you were mentally lazy. I worked in the bank and in 4years I moved from teller to E-channels because i went out of my way to send mails to the head of department profering solutions.

Alot of peoplw like you go to the bank becsuse you see the flashy suits like you rightly said, even in heaven you must work and worship God forget the gold.

Today i work else where and im using my skills and ideas to grow where I am and im happy for it.

As a teller I was going to school running a second degree in ICT, i met alot of people there who were too relaxed on the salary.

Wake up, your branch has problems start solving them and you will see your mind come alive again to do great things.

Didnt u read where the op said he left banking?that he felt he followed a wrong career path. He is in business now ands wants a different career skill

The best advise you will get is this:
Find a problem that is facing Nigerians daily, look for a solution.
You will see yourself embarking on a journey that will build you and reward you financially.
Never go into any field based on mere recommendation, do the research yourself. It will save you heartache in the future.

Dunning-Kruger Effect states that, “the knowledge and intelligence that are required to be good
at a task are often the same qualities needed to recognize that one is not good at that task.
meaning - the less you know about a field, the more you overestimate your own ability in relation to that field.
the more you know about a field, the more you underestimate your own ability in relation to that field

Now you are at a cross road, the Dunning-kruger effect will definitely come into play here, you will get a lot of suggestions
and will definitely overestimate your ability to succeed in those field.
Instead of looking for trending skills, look for problems around you and go into overdrive on how to solve those problems
and you will be amazed that people will be willing to pay you for the solution.
Elon Musk is a classic example, he had identified problems in the US (NASA high cost of payload, ineffective electric cars,
etc) and he went on overdrive and came up with solutions to NASA issue, electric cars etc and soon is on his way to becoming the richest man soon.

I left Nigeria few years ago and when I arrived in my new environment, I noticed a problem here and it had to do with the payment system
I started searching for ways to solve the issue and finally found it.
When I launched the solution I was amazed at the number of people begging to take their money to use my service.
It changed my life.
Thanks so much. What an inspirational piece!

Op, please are you married?

If not, please go and get married to an industrious lady.

Thank me after 5 years.
What has Industrous lady got to do with my seemingly dead career? I have 2 businesses myself, does that mean I am not Industrous? Pls stick to career advise and not money because after leaving the bank I am comfortable.

Guess U didn't plan well

I've kept on saying that I am comfortable but career dead. How do u guys skip that part? After working for 10yrs,you will realize that money is not everything. Earning 200k as a bachelor without time for other things seem like a big deal. Earn the same 200k for another 10yrs being married with kids, yet with no time of your own or freedom to pursue your ambitions or career growth then comeback here and say what u said again.

It still happens.

Just take that from me.

The strategy is that u dnt stay in one bank and before that can happen u need to acquire required skills and keep developing urself .

Your career growth, self development , cognate value addition are all dependent on you.
You are right. It's just that the work was too tasking physically and mentally so at the end of the day one is spent. But those are just excuses. I'm looking at the bright side now. I appreciate your contributions. Thank you

I have always made sense.

I just want u to drop Ur "it is their fault mentality" and move on and take Ur destiny in Ur hands bro.

You could av resigned and moved on.

I am not talking it, I once had 2 offer letters from 2 different banks at the same time cos of the skill I am very proficient in.

There are people who rose from 180k entry level to collect 1million naira net in banking within 10 years ask around or check people's transactions on pay day
My dear, 180k to 1milli in 10yrs doesn't happen again since post credit crunch of 2009. Besides I never spoke about money. I spoke about career growth, self development, cognate value addition.
