Nairaland / General / Minimum Wages In Some Countries Compared To Nigeria. by Femco2016(m): 7:19pm On Mar 31, 2018

Embarrassingly, Nigeria politicians earn
the highest salaries in the whole world
In Luxemburg where minimum wage is $
2,500, their lawmakers are paid $7,400.
In Libya where minimum wage is $430
Lawmakers earn $300
In Nigeria where minimum wage is $
38(N18,000), lawmakers earn $65,
000(N29 million)
How long shall workers in Nigeria
continue to live like slaves in their own
country?
Politicians now officially loot our National
Treasury with bogus and unmerited pay
package.
This drain pipe method and official looting
must stop.
WORKERS AND DOWNTRODDEN MASSES
MUST RISE UP AND SUPPORT AGITATION
FOR NEW NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE IN
NIGERIA.

Family / Why Nigerian Men Hardly Forgive A Cheating Woman by Femco2016(m): 7:01pm On Feb 26, 2018
Before I start this, I want to make it clear that I'm not a sexist. People say it is a man's world, and honestly, it is.

I will show you how. Nature gave us some bonus and women gave their support. Even if a man forgives a cheating wife, the women (society) will not.

Here are the few reasons some men find it difficult to forgive a cheating wife (They are what I heard men say. I didn't author some of them)

1: EGO:- It certainly has a lot to do with their ego being bruised. The thought that another man was able to sleep with Someone they believed they had "ownership" of breaks them to pieces as most of them think the women incapable of sex without emotions, meaning the woman loves another. Remember men are like a lioness that can kill most animals for its cubs but will not allow another animal to even play with its cubs.

2: GUILT:- If a woman cheats, the man will never forgive not only the woman but himself no matter whose fault it is. He feels he has failed as a man to protect and keep his own.

3: THEY CAN'T FORGET:- When a man is making love with his wife, it is a sacred rituals the way she moan shows that his sacrifice has been accepted. So if she makes love with another man he will be thinking the temple is no more sacred and when he makes love to her and she moans, it will be disgusting cause it will be like that is the way she moaned for the other guy!

4: YOU HAVE LOST HER IF SHE CHEATS:- Female infidelity is often much more damaging to a marriage. Don’t get me wrong: Male cheating is definitely harmful. But when a woman fools around, it’s often the beginning of the end of the relationship. For men, cheating often tends to be opportunistic — they’re in the wrong place at the wrong time and the cheating doesn’t necessarily mean anything emotionally. In fact a man can sleep with a woman today and not remember her again but for a woman to have sex with you (in most cases) you must win her heart to win her body.

5: HE PAID YOUR PRICE:- I guess i gotta be blunt here. I know we call it marriage but I think women are being bought in a way. Don't kill me yet, let's analyze it. He buys engagement ring. Proposes to you, you accept then he decides to see your people. Your people accept him and give him a list containing heaven and earth. He agrees to pay, he pays for everything and when your parents feel they have collected enough, they hand you over to him. Then you automatically change your name (Change of ownership) which confirms that you are now his own. I have seen where women sponsored their marriage and the men don't care when they cheat so I believe the day you stop asking for head-cutting bride price for us to marry then we won't bother much, imagine paying all that money and she gives it to another man..

On a serious note. A cheat is a cheat and you can't quantify cheating. Who is cheating doesn't matter.

Stay Faithful

Politics / A Review On Buhari's Change So Far. by Femco2016(m): 3:01pm On Feb 02, 2017
PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI: THE TRUTH MUST BE TOLD THEOPHILUS UTCHAYCHUKWU Wrote: A LITTLE WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT FOR BUHARI WILL NOT KILL YOU. 1. No doubt we are going through hard times as a nation. PMB is slow and steady and we all want change like magic. That notwithstanding, CHANGE IS HERE. 2. For example, on Saturday, March 15th 2014, the then government of Goodluck Jonathan invited over 7 million Applicants for 4000 jobs, in the most fraudulent manner lacking in standards. Eventually, 16 innocent people died. 3. But today, Buhari's Government gave out 200,000 jobs using the E-method of application, and no casualty was recorded. That is CHANGE 4. Despite that we are under recession, Buhari is paying seven years pension arrears, employing 200,000 graduates at cost of 6bn naira monthly, and with 300,000 soon to follow. That is CHANGE 5. Despite the recession, Buhari has released N700 billion for capital projects to reflate the economy, N150bn for women entrepreneurship development, N30 Billion for Lecturers' Allowances and CBN is giving 3 each to graduate entrepreneurs. That is CHANGE 6. Buhari implemented The Treasury Single Account (TSA) policy that past leaders were afraid to implement because it will expose their corruption. That is CHANGE 7. Buhari Increased to 30% CAPEX and Infrastructural Engagements Nationwide. That is CHANGE 8. The Army under Buhari has fought Boko Haram to a standstill, rescued some Chibok Girls, sanitized Areppo, forced Niger Delta militants to negotiation, taught IPOB and MASSOB how to observe the rule of law. The untouchables like Tompolo are in hiding. Those who thought they were bigger than Nigeria have understood otherwise. Gani Adams, Dokubo Asari, Uwazuruike, Ateke Tom and their likes now know the limit of their shenanigans. Even Nnamdi Kanu is secretly negotiating for freedom. 9. Non of our territories are under the control of non state - actors. At best, all that those COWARDS can do is to secretly go and bomb our pipelines or send suicide bombers to IDP camps. They are all afraid to confront the army under Buhari. That is CHANGE 10. Buhari is unwavering in his Anti-Corruption War. We are getting results that have surpassed all of the results of former regimes put together. 11. Today, the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki and over 26 retired and serving Army Generals are facing trial. That was unthinkable in the past. And their civilian counterparts are not left out. With hooligans like Obanikoro, Olisamethief, Fani- KayoStole and the rest returning stolen monies and judicial criminals being arrested the battle is getting set. That is CHANGE 12. Come to the energy sector, there are many ongoing Power Projects that will over time make Nigeria energy sufficient. Buhari has a policy of Energy Mix, which will ensure that the sabotage of power infrastructure in the Niger Delta is tackled . That is CHANGE! 13. Other regions of Nigeria have identified energy sources that will make them independent of Niger Delta gas. Today wind and sun energy are being harnessed from North-East and North-West, Coal in the South-East, Hydro power in the North Central and the rest. In no distant future, one of Buhari's ambitious power projects, Mambilla 3,000 plant will gush energy with ease. That is CHANGE. 14. All these compared to I6 wasted years of past administration in energy sector. These other administrations spent over 36 billion dollars and could not generate 3000 megawatts. Meanwhile China spent 25 billion dollars in eleven years to generate 22,000 megawatts. Meaning that given the same time Buhari has achieved a great feat. That is CHANGE 15. By 2018, all our rice consumption needs will be locally met. Tomatoes and many others too. That is CHANGE 16. How about National Railway interconnectivity project and the Recent $ 2.2billon GE PPP agreement. 17. Many Federal Roads are being constructed. Contractors who have not been paid since 20I2 have started receiving their checks. The construction of Second Niger Bridge is under way, Calabar to Lagos Rail, Lagos to Kano Rail, Ibadan to Lagos Rail and many other ambitious projects that will restore Nigeria to it's former glory are being undertaken by Buhari. That is CHANGE! 18. Buhari banned 41 Items in the Forex list to help boost local production and protect Naira. If you cannot take advantage, that is your fault. This ban is in your interest. And that too is CHANGE! 19. Subsidy removal was to stop the elite from robbing you of the money we need to develop. Past administrations refused to do it because they were beneficiaries and they lack the moral rectitude to do it. Only an incorruptible man like Buhari could stand up to those elites who were the beneficiaries of it. That is CHANGE 20. Despite organized sabotage by corrupt politicians and other ignorant elements in our society, Buhari is trudging forward. Although, President Buhari needs to speed things up and he needs to restructure our systems and bring about true Federalism that will help component units become productive and useful to the whole. 21. Nobody can fix Nigeria in one day. Even God believe in processes, He is not in partnership with magicians. Buhari has not solved all our problems, but we are making progress. DO NOT LET YOUR HATE BECLOUD YOUR SENSE OF VALUED JUDGEMENT! CHANGE IS HERE.
Islam for Muslims / What Prophet Muhammad Commanded Muslims To Do To Christians by Femco2016(m): 7:28am On Jan 27, 2017
Muhammad's Promise to the Monks of St. Catherine's Monastery Until the End of Days : "This is a message from Muhammad ibn Abdullah, as a covenant to those who adopt Christianity, near and far, we are with them. Verily I, the servants, the helpers, and my followers defend them, because Christians are my citizens; and by Allah! I hold out against anything that displeases them. No compulsion is to be on them. Neither are their judges to be removed from their jobs nor their monks from their monasteries. No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or to carry anything from it to the Muslims' houses. Should anyone take any of these, he would spoil God's covenant and disobey His Prophet. Verily, they are my allies and have my secure charter against all that they hate. No one is to force them to travel or to oblige them to fight. The Muslims are to fight for them. If a female Christian is married to a Muslim, it is not to take place without her approval. She is not to be prevented from visiting her church to pray. Their churches are to be respected. They are neither to be prevented from repairing them nor the sacredness of their covenants. No one of the nation (Muslims) is to disobey the covenant till the Last Day (end of the world)."

Put them through trial, get every details from them and if convicted punish them. Then go a step further get their sponsors and punish them. That done, get those the governor personally paid and serve them justice also. We cannot all be religiously motivated - some of us want justice.

Religion / Re: 7 Reasons Why Catholic Church Is The True Universal Church by Femco2016(m): 7:35pm On Jan 08, 2017
felixomor:
Salvation is personal brother.
Only Jesus saves.
No denomination is a sure path.

Preach Jesus Christ.
Cheers

you are right bro... But here is a scenario....
what reparation do your church make for a dying sinner who needs repentance but could not reach to those he offended in order to apologise? Yet, his pastor was present there and all he could mutter to the dying patient who is in pain; is pray pray pray.
Religion / 7 Reasons Why Catholic Church Is The True Universal Church by Femco2016(m): 5:40pm On Jan 08, 2017
The reasons are;

1. The bible daily readings Is
universal... If it is John 3:16 that was to be preached in Warri Nigeria today, so it is in the deepest remote village in China...

2. If a pope,cardinal,b
ishop, priest or any person well recognized in the church decides to leave or retire. The church
would feel no much pain nor
despair,it will continue to forge ahead stronger than before.

3. The fore-runners of catholic church are all endowed with
various spiritual gifts listed in 1st corinthians12:7-11.... They dont compete with one another on who is great or small, who speaks well or heals most, who performed more miracles or
not... No! Everyone operates on their own gift.

4. It is the only church that
solves most human mysteries... E.g... Is their hope of making
paradise for an unrepentant
sinner but willing to repent on his dying bed? The answer is yes; it is called anointing of thesick;
www.catholic.org/prayers/sacrament.php?id=5

5. The catholic church place NO burden on its members...
Whatever the church recieves
from its members either in cash or kind, is given voluntarily to her... Any clergy found wanting is dealt with accordingly, no
matter the position or rank.

6. Clergy men or women can betransferred from urban to rural or the reverse...

7. It takes 12 years to become a
priest... And so on.

Glory to Jesus.

It shows truly that the catholic church is a universal church.... I saw this post on Facebook of one; George Barde.... Read what he wrote.

"As we rejoice and merry remember to thank God for all his blessings. But also these parishioners of mine in the village celebrating Christmas without even a shade not to talk of a Church roof over their heads. Here I baptized a lovely set of twins my first since ordination. Deo Gratias."
