The Delta State House of Assembly resumed plenary on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 after a four week break for Christmas and new year celebrations.
The highlight of the resumed sitting, the first in 2020 was the approval of a request by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the construction of a film village and leisure park in Ugbolu, Oshimili North local government area of the state.
The construction of the film village and leisure park in Ugbolu, Oshimili North is to be executed at the cost of Five Billion Naira.
The Governor's letter was read on the floor of the House, by the Speaker, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori at plenary.
According to the Governor, the project would not only boost the revenue base of the state, but would also create jobs for the youths of the state.
He said the state government would provide thirty percent of the funding of the project while the investors would provide seventy percent, pointing out that the letter was to seek for the authorisation of the House.
The request was approved following a motion by the Majority Leader, Hon Tim Owhefere and was seconded by the member representing Udu constituency, Hon Peter Uviejitobor and was adopted.

A Russian vlogger has shown his displeasure with German automaker Mercedes by dropping and destroying his Mercedes-AMG G63 from helicopter. He airlifted the SUV into the Karelian sky and dropped it to the ground from almost 1,000 feet. The one-time high-riding and iconic SUV was smashed in a matter of seconds.
In a shared video, the vlogger, Igor Moroz, who specializes in pranks, plays an enraged owner of a Mercedes-AMG G63. According to Moroz, the G-Wagon has been a pain in the neck ever since he bought it in 2018 for 16.8 million rubles. The SUV needed repairs every month and the dealer has refused to repair some of the faults under warranty.
But Russian medias thinks they know the true story. According to them, Moroz and a friend fought for a contract, with the loser agreeing to drop his G-Wagon from the sky.
Because this stunt won’t be allowed in Russia, Moroz hired the helicopter from an airport in Petrozavodsk for 250,000 rubles (approximately $4,000).
The Russian transport police are currently investigating the incident. They want more facts as to why the Mercedes-AMG G63 off-road vehicle was dumped from the sky.

Anambralstson: Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state today, Thursday, 21st November 2019 inaugurated the Anambra 50-Year Development Plan Committee.
The Committee is chaired by former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo.
Other members of the Committee include Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, Chief Primus Odili, Barr Uju Nworgu, Prof Kate Omenugha, Mr Ifeatu Onejeme, Mr Mark Okoye, Mr Patrick Okigbo, Engr Chris Okoye, Mr Ben Akabjeze, Capt. Iheanacho Ebjbeogu, John Okakpu, Rtd. DIG Val Ntomchukwu, Mr Valentine Ozigbo and Hon Chudi Offodile, Dr Ikem Odumodu.
Also on the list are Professor Enis Idemobi, Prof Uche Amazigo, Engr Emeka Eze, Dr Olisa Agbakoba SAN, Mr Mac Atasie, Amb Emma Okafor, Mr CDon Adinuba, Chief Tony Onyima, Senator Ikechukwu Obiorah, Air Vice Marshal Ben Chiobi, Mazi Chike Nwegbe, Mrs Uche Onwuamaegbu-Ugwu, Chief Uche Nworah among others.

He charged the Committee to craft 50-year development plan for Anambra state that Ndi Anambra and the South East will be proud of.
Amongst other charges, he asked the Committee to craft a vision and mission statements for Anambra state. Identify specific sectors the state should focus on, development measurements frameworks, determine critical milestones and success factors etc.
The Governor said Anambra Vision 2070 plan is for the security, prosperity and happiness of Ndi Anambra. The Committee was given 9 months to complete its assignment. Lalasticlala

So I met this girl through a mutual friend and we started bonding. Initially, I didn't take the friendship seriously because this lady is a little older than me and I do not see any future between us.
Now, things got more intense between us. She visited me one time, one thing leading to another, we were in bed, about to have sex and then I pulled out the condom but she refused, insisting that she doesn't enjoy sex with condom. I was very surprised to hear that, so I tried to make her see reasons why the condom is very necessary. She adamantly refused. We ended up not having the sex that day.
Just last week she visited again and we spent the night together. We tried to have sex again but the same issue came up again. She insisted I must not used condom. Now this got me upset. She however admitted that she was ovulating and that the chances of getting her pregnant was high, but that I should not worry that she'd take care of herself and the pregnancy, if it happens. She said that she would not force me to get involved with the baby if I don't want. However, she made very clear that she's not ready to get married. This got me confused.
I don't want to let my guards down by indulging in unprotected sex with someone I don't trust. I also do not want to hurt her feelings. So I plan to take her for medical tests next week and then we can kick it off from there.
