Nonsense and jobless Youths from that side, if it were Northern youths organising this porn movie they would have let the whole world hear it. Imagine the ranting that would flood the thread if it were govt that spent this sum in nonsense but nobody cares because it's not ethno-religious matter.
They only know sex, alcohol, drugs and entertainment. That is why we'll never trust their youths with power.
I was deeply disappointed by them during Endsars when they're were asked by IGP to produce their representatives they sent drugs addict and Prostitutes in entertainment industry instead of reasonable, educated concerned youth undecided

PoliticsDear Nigerians Wake Up! by Femiartalade(op): 7:45pm On Jun 18, 2020
In the last millennium when i was growing up, there was so much publicity on civil rights, health matters and political elections. At least, I remember NTA AM express had various jingles about these matters and they were very intentional about it. it didn't end there, i also remember the NOA were very functional to the point that, information were passed across every media and people understood everything that was happening.

In this millennium, it's really very strange that these organizations have failed to bridge the gap between the people and the government especially when it comes to true information.

Now in the case of covid 19, at this point I feel like the average Nigerian thinks covid19 is a hoax. Even though there's information about the virus that says wash your hands, use a face mask...

The funny part of it is that the most important organization (NCDC) that is supposed to sensitize Nigerians about the virus have been turned to a 'follow train page' on social media. Nigerians have turned it to a 'follow for follow' moment anytime there's an update about the virus from NCDC.

And it shows how disjointed the masses are with these organizations and the government.
In all honesty, even though these organizations are doing their 'best ' to keep everyone safe, I feel like the government has hijacked everything with their politicking to just to loot our treasury.

But las las we go deh alright.!

Maybe I'm not used to seeing what you're talking about but I don't view it dt way. Humans can only be either enticed or scared to do d right thing. As for d former, there's really nothing much to entice ppl with in this life that most don't already have or know about. Therefore, it may be helpful to let then know dt some doom awaits who ever is living wrongly, irrespective of all they've amassed. It should however be done with wisdom &caution.
My thoughts
i very much agree with you. Wisdom and caution. It's just really pathetic when I scroll through the front page and all i see is extremists, Pharisees and saducees busy ranting about who goes to hell and who goes to heaven. Even Jesus Christ during his sojourn on earth focused more on winning souls through sheer humanity.

He didn't go as far as rebuking sinners at the slightest provocation. But you see Christians today are becoming worse than the Pharisees and Sadducees of yesteryears.
Busy 'deciding' who goes to hell and who goes to heaven at the slightest chance.

It's not nice!
Christianity EtcDear Christians Stop The Threats! by Femiartalade(op): 11:10am On Jun 15, 2020
Dear Christians, stop 'threatening' people with hell just because they are yet to accept Christ. The bible says 'go ye into the world and preach the gospel and to all creatures'... The gospel of Christ is love, hope, Salvation, peace not fear, not blackmail, not threats. If you want to love someone and want them to love you too, do you present fear as a means for them to love you?

God loves everyone and he wants you to preach love and not ranting about hell on every post.

I mean, I know it is meant to prepare us for what it is to come but the moment it becomes a continual "hymn" for preaching, your hell narrative is tagged as a nuisance.

'Why would you scare me with something that wouldn't kill me after spending eternity there. '

As a Christian I'm embarrassed to see this trend on this forum

Religion offers an escape from reality, it helps to take the pain away from the struggles of life within capitalism. It acts as the one good thing that makes life worth living, but it also subdues us, leaves us weak to the whims of the state and the bourgeois (who control religion, and nothing fills the proletariat with more fear than eternal damnation).

Religion is really the opium of the masses

Please how much did it cost and where did you do it?
awhizzle101:
Ok Guys, this is a long read so bear with me.

I had searched for so long for anything or topic related to Gynecomastia in Nigeria to no avail before the poster of this thread finally did and after that I followed it up keenly. I would like to salute the courage of the poster and to say he has inspired me to share my story and process with others that might be suffering this same condition.

You have no idea how psychologically paralyzing this condition is, others might not see it as a big deal but trust me it is. It is a huge deal. What other guys take for granted you are unable to do. Simple things like wear your favorite Tshirt, taking off your shirt in public, play soccer with your guys, going swimming becomes scenes of immense torture to your mind. You are intensely self aware when you wear shirts that your nipples are protruding and therefore everyone is staring at you. The biggest damage this condition does to a guy is psychological and the effects cannot be understated. To every guy suffering from Gynecomastia I know your fears and share your pain.

I have had with this condition for about 20years plus now. I first discovered it in secondary school and now I’m a 34year old man with my own family. I tried everything from when I started having puffy nipples to try to hide it, I used the elastic band from my boxer shorts to wrap around my chest. Lol. After that I researched some pills (bad idea) Pills do not work by the way. Please do not even try to use them, total waste of time. I naively thought at a point that It was just some kind of fluid that was under there that if I buy an injection syringe and suck it out I’d be fine. Lol.
I eventually convinced my parents back then that it was indeed a problem for me and we went to see the doctor but he told me not to worry that it would resolve on it’s own. It never did.

For years I was sad, depressed and distraught and eventually I gave up. I became a master at hiding my condition throughout university no one ever saw my chest, I would go to the bathroom with boxer shorts and hang my towel around my neck just so no one would see my gyno. One thing I stumbled on though that gave me temporary reprieve for many years is the black electrical tape. After trying cello tape and plaster I eventually landed on black electrical wiring tapes. It Works guys. This was what helped me through all these years and I was able to mask my puffy nipples and wear shirts that were fitted and gave me some semblance of normalcy to my life however fake it was.

I always knew that one day I would have surgery as that was the only way to fix this. During my NYSC in Abuja I finally found a plastic surgeon that could do it. She did it under local anesthesia and she did take out some gland but unfortunately for me, she didn’t do nearly enough. She just cut me open for nothing because after weeks of waiting to see any difference there was none. I was intensely depressed not to talk of how pissed I was cause I had spent 180k and this was a lot of money back in 2011.

I have lived with it since then with me and my black tape. I had a black tape everywhere, in my car, in my work bag, at home just so I’m not caught slacking. Lol

I came across a plastic surgeon in Lagos recently and I decided to have another go at getting rid of this Gynecomastia once and for all. From the consultation he put my mind at ease and told me he would use a combination of liposuction and gland excision. Anyways long story short I had my surgery done finally on Wednesday and I’m healing nicely. I’m still in my compression garment so I haven’t seen the result yet but I’ve seen a video from the operating table when they were taking the gland out and for the first time since I can remember in all my life my I saw my Nipples FLAT. My Gyno is finally gone guys. FINALLY!!!! After over 20 years. I still don’t fully believe it. It feels unreal. All these years of suffering just Gone in under 2 hours.

I’ll share my pictures and my recovery photos with you guys as I progress along. I hope I’m able to inspire someone with this condition to not give up and stay positive. I know it’s tough but it’ll be ok in the end.
CelebritiesRe: We Will Make Tekno A Scapegoat, Says FG by Femiartalade(m): 3:10am On Aug 12, 2019
akelicious:
The Federal Government has promised to bring sanity into the social lives of citizens and stop the debasement of humanity and the pride of Nigerian women by making scapegoats of some persons.

The government was reacting to the controversial music video by a popular musician, Augustine Kelechi, aka Tekno, with scenes of four semi-nude women dancing in a moving van on the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge in Lagos.

The artiste, in the four-minute video, was seen throwing money suspected to be dollars at the young women.

The government expressed disappointment that despite ongoing investigations into the anomaly, Tekno went ahead to release the offensive video.

In the official music video for the song, ‘Agege,’ which was released on Thursday, Tekno was seen in the moving van performing to the camera with the half-clad women dancing seductively.

A statement on Sunday by the Director General, National Council for Arts and Culture, a parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture, Segun Runsewe, said Tekno would be made a scapegoat “to teach others a serious lesson.”

According to him, the NCAC is committed to exposing proponents of such kind of offensive sights and videos in Nigeria, while security agencies will be briefed to place Tekno on their watch list, “because his conduct is a threat to national security.”

Runsewe said he got hundreds of telephone calls and SMS from Nigerians, both at home and in the Diaspora, who queried why such immorality would be allowed in the country.

He stated, “We commend the police for arresting Tekno for the shameful misconduct. The same person, who was granted bail on health grounds has gone ahead to release the controversial video. We are now warning him to desist from this shameful conduct, which is not part of our culture.

“No single person is bigger than Nigeria; whether he likes it or not, we are going to use him as a scapegoat to send strong signals that this government does not tolerate nonsense and immorality, but discipline, which is our moral principle.

“Since the offensive Tekno scam video came to the limelight, I have received hundreds of telephone calls and SMS from Nigerians at home and others in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada and other parts of the world querying why such anomalies would be tolerated in Nigeria.

“Now that he has released the shameful video when investigation is still ongoing, we are going to inform security agencies to place him on their watch list, because his action is a threat to national security and a bad influence on Nigerian youths.

“We are committed to exposing proponents of this kind of offensive sights and videos. We warn that nudity is not part of our culture and should not be tolerated. The Federal Government will henceforth fish out clubs for nude dancers across the country for their promoters to face prosecution.”

Akelicious had reported that Section 134 (a) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015, stipulated that an indecent act in a public place would make both parties engaging in the act liable to imprisonment for two years.

Section 136 also states that any person, who commits any act of gross indecency with another person in public, commits an offence and is liable upon conviction to three years imprisonment.
