RCCG SUNDAY SCHOOL STUDENT'S MANUAL LESSON SIX SUNDAY, 8TH OCTOBER 2017 TOPIC: DEDICATION MEMORY VERSE: ‘’Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work." - John 4:34 BIBLE PASSAGE: 2Corinthians 11:22-31 INTRODUCTION: Dedication is an act of setting apart or consecration of a thing or being to a deity. Christians are expected to be devoted wholly and earnestly to God and the purpose for which He has called them. Our Lord Jesus Christ was dedicated to His course for living, so also were the prophets and apostles of old (John 4:34). You too must prove to God that you are dedicated to Him. LESSON OUTLINES 1. What is dedication? 2. It calls for self-discipline WHAT IS DEDICATION? Dedication is the yearning desire in the Christian that makes him/her spend all it costs to ensure that the work is completely done (2Corinthians 12:15). When others have retired or tired, he/she wants to see that the work is done. He will always say, "having done all, I stand"... (Ephesians 6:13). It is the will to want to pray often, fast often, watch often and even die daily for Christ's sake (1Thessalonians 5:17; 1Corinthians 15:31; 2Corinthians 11:14-18). It is a godly desire to keep pressing forward no matter what, running with patience the race that is set before us until the victory is won (Philippians 3:13-14; Hebrews 12:1), knowing that the race is not a fast/short one like a hundred metre dash but a marathon. IT CALLS FOR SELF DISCIPLINE Dedication calls for a high degree of self- discipline or control. When others want to quit, it takes the dedicated to continue, knowing that "winners don't quit and quitters don't win" (1Corinthians 9:24-27). He is therefore, a champion, that is one who remains fighting consistently even when the battles are over (Romans 8:37-39, Philippians 1:27). The dedicated must have control over his passions, tongue and flesh if he is to finish well and strong (Proverbs 16:32; James 3:2; Romans 6:12). CONCLUSION: We have just studied one of the cardinal virtues that must be found in a heaven-bound Christian. Dedication is not impossible for the Christian who has the enabling grace of Christ flowing in his veins. Pray for this divine ability today and it shall be yours in Jesus' Name. QUESTIONS 1. What exactly is dedication? 2. Mention what it involves to be dedicated

Christianity Etc › Open Heaven Daily Devotional, Friday 29th Sept 2017 by femoint007(op): 1:25pm On Sep 28, 2017
OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: FRIDAY 29TH SEPTEMBER 2017 THEME: DELAYED PROVISION Memorise: The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season. Psalm 145:15 Read: Daniel 10:7-13 10:7 And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. 10:8 Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. 10:9 Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground. 10:10 And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. 10:11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. 10:12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. 10:13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. Message: More often than not, when a man receives provision before he or she has need for it, wastage occurs. Such a fellow will entertain expenditures that are focused more on unnecessary wants rather than on needs. This is why such an individual needs wisdom, guidance and lots of self-denial or self-control. May you not waste your provisions in Jesus’ Name! However, provision could also come at the time of need. This type of arrangement is preferred by some people because it eradicates the likelihood of waste. According to Psalm 46:5; when God is your refuge, He will always show up at the right time. He is never late! I pray that whatever assistance you need will locate you as soon as the need arises in Jesus’ Name. In quite a number of situations, provision comes much after the day of need. This is totally unacceptable because the purpose for which the provision is needed is already defeated. Provision long after need is almost as bad as total denial. When help, assistance or provision is not available in the time of need, it will result in disappointment, feeling of rejection, shame and disgrace, painful loss or even death. Do you know that many people who died in some ghastly accident could have survived if only they received help at the time of the incident? There are some who survived for a few hours but later gave up the ghost because they did not receive medical attention at the hour of need. John 10:10; talks of Satan’s evil mission to steal, kill and destroy. One way he does this is by delaying provision or help from reaching people in need. In today’s Bible reading, following his petition to Heaven during a fast, an answer was sent to Daniel, but it was delayed by the Prince of Persia for 21 days. Daniel should have received the answer on the first day, but it was delayed for that whole period. Every force of delay, sent to set back your provision or help beyond the time of need, shall be frustrated, disgraced and paralyzed in Jesus’s Name! Whatever was programmed to reach you late shall arrive on time; you shall not be disappointed! That yoke of delay over your expectations is destroyed now! The Lord will sort you out speedily in Jesus’ Name! Key Point: One challenge of the rich is that because they have enough to meet their needs, even for the next 10, 20 or more years, their confidence is usually in their money and not in God. BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Esther 8-10 Ezekiel 48:21-35 AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE HYMN 4: THROUGH THE LOVE OF GOD OUR SAVIOR 1 Through the love of God our Saviour, All will be well; Free and changeless is His favour, All, all is well. Precious is the blood that healed us, Perfect is the grace that sealed us, Strong the hand stretched forth to shield us, All must be well. 2 Though we pass through tribulation, All will be well. Ours is such a full salvation, All, all is well. Happy still in God confiding; Fruitful if in Christ abiding; Steadfast through the Spirit's guiding: All must be well. 3 We expect a bright tomorrow; All will be well. Faith can sing through days of sorrow, All, all is well. On our Father's love relying, Jesus every need supplying; Or in living or in dying; All must be well.

RCCG SUNDAY SCHOOL MANUAL LESSON FOUR SUNDAY, 24TH SEPTEMBER 2017 TOPIC: SALVATION EXPERIENCE MEMORY VERSE: ’For the grace of God bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.” – Titus 2:11 BIBLE PASSAGE: John 3:3-8 INTRODUCTION: The Hebrew and Greek words translated ‘Salvation’ are ‘yashuwah’ and ‘soteria’ respectively. This word is used for the deliverance of the Israelites from the Egyptians (Exodus 14:13), and for deliverance generally from evil or danger. In the New Testament, it is specially used with reference to the great deliverance from the guilt and the pollution of sin wrought out by Jesus Christ, “the great salvation” (Hebrews 2:3). LESSON OUTLINES 1. Description of salvation 2. Instant and ultimate salvation DESCRIPTION OF SALVATION Simply put, it is to be born again, which in turn means going back to our origin. It is to have everything changed with an incorruptible seed planted in us (1Peter 1:23). It is that which changes the son of man to a son of God (John 1:11-12; Romans 8:15), thus becoming the partaker of the divine nature (2Peter 1:3-4). This implies that we are expected to experience: divine health because the same blood flowing in the vine flows also in the branches, divine vitality since Jesus is alive, we shall live too (John 14:19; John 10:10), the same power for the same works and even greater ones too (John 14:12). It also means becoming a new creature which automatically follows that all things must become new (2Corinthians 5:17). All sins are gone (1John 1:7). Yokes are destroyed and now replaced with a peculiar nature (1Peter 2:9). Such are now members of God’s family (1John 3:9), that will not sin but with a new culture of love, unity, prayer, joy, faith, power and greatness (John 13:35; Ephesians 2:cool. INSTANT AND ULTIMATE SALVATION After hearing the salvation message (Romans 10:17), the individual becomes saved through the conviction of the Holy Spirit. He confesses his sins, ask for mercy/forgiveness and accepts Jesus Christ as his Saviour and Lord (Romans 10:10; Acts 4:12; 16:31). This is absolutely the work of grace (Ephesians 2:8-9). This is the instant salvation. However, it is only those who endure to the end that will be saved (Matthew 10:22, 2Peter 1:10-11). This is the ultimate salvation. In between the instant and the ultimate salvation, there is a race to run and battles to fight: storms, mockery, false accusation, temptations, persecution, trials of faith, etc (1Corinthains 9:24-27; Hebrews 12:1-4; 2Timothy 2:3-5; John 16:33). Therefore, there is the need to constantly work out our salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12). We must put on the whole armour of God to be able to stand to the end (Ephesians 6:12-18). As much as the instant salvation is grace, the ultimate involves some work. Those seeking for ultimate salvation must, therefore, be watchful (1Peter 5:cool, prayerful (Matthew 26:41), patient (Hebrews 12:1) and run lawfully (2Timothy 2:5), confessing victory all the way. CONCLUSION: Today’s lesson must have unveiled some foundational truths about salvation to us. It is only wise to give allowance to the Holy Spirit to help relay this aspect of spiritual foundation to glory. Why not pray and decide for Jesus Christ today. QUESTIONS 1. Define salvation. 2. What types of salvation exist?

RCCG SUNDAY SCHOOL STUDENT'S MANUAL ( LESSON:3) SUNDAY, 17TH SEPTEMBER 2017 TOPIC: THE SECRET PLACE MEMORY VERSE: ‘’He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." - Psalm 91:1 BIBLE PASSAGE: Psalm 91:1-16 INTRODUCTION: The term "secret place" comes from the Hebrew word "cether" which means "to hide or be concealed". Other words for secret place include shelter, covering, or a dwelling place. One who abides in the secret place of God dwells in an ascended place of rest, lifted up above principalities and powers. It is a place of protection from trouble; where God surrounds you with deliverance (Psalm 32:7). It is a place of His holy concealment in all things, where God reveals heavenly secrets to you. LESSON OUTLINES 1. How to enter the secret place 2. Benefits of being in God's secret place HOW TO ENTER THE SECRET PLACE We can gain access into God's secret place through a life of holiness (Psalm 15:1-5), praise, thanksgiving and prayer of faith (Psalm 100:3-4; Jeremiah 33:3). We must walk away from the clamour and enticements of the world (1John 2:15). Our hearts must be quiet before Him as we allow Him investigate those inner thoughts we reveal to no one else (Isaiah 30:15; Psalm 139:2). To connect with God, we must avoid distractions (Matthew 6:6; Mark 1:35). We cannot join God in His secret place unless we are willing to be transparent and honest with Him (Psalm 69:5; 139:7). We must not dwell with the ungodly (Psalm 1:1; 2Corinthians 6:17). A consecrated and sanctified life is a prerequisite to gaining access into God's secret place (Leviticus 20:7; Psalm 24:3-4). BENEFITS OF BEING IN GOD'S SECRET PLACE The benefits of dwelling in God's secret place include: 1. Closer fellowship with God (James 4:cool. 2. Living a holy life becomes possible (Isaiah 6:1-5). 3. Self-assessment of our faith will be enhanced (2Corinthians 13:5). 4. Fruit of the spirit takes root and grows (Galatians 5:22). 5. Our gaze is focused on Christ and things of eternal value (Matthew 6:19-21; Hebrews 12:2). 6. Divine protection and deliverance (Proverbs 18:10; Psalm 91:13-14). 7. Divine authority and attention (1Kings 17:1). CONCLUSION: God wants us to dwell in His secret place; not to visit. In God's secret place, no evil can come near us. QUESTIONS 1. How can a believer enter into God's secret place? 2. What are the benefits of dwelling in the secret place?

(Daddy praying that the Door will not be shut against you),
now when the five foolish came back He told them that those who are mine are already in.

The purpose of gate is to restrict access, so to be able to enter in the presence of God the gate must be open.

Now, there are gate leading to Heaven. In Psalm 24 vs 7-10, the gate has to lift up their heads, talking about the new Jerusalem.
In Rev 21:12-13, tells us that there were twelve gates. In Mark 2:1- 12, the news spread that Jesus was in the house and some men brought a man and the man had problems. He was sick ,incurable, poor, stagnated and sad. He must have been also barren. He had a load of problem, but he knew if I can only get into the presence of Jesus he said I know things will change so his friends broke the roof and so were able to enter His presence.

So no matter what is going to cost you enter the presence of God all time,
(Daddy is believing God with all His heart that all who will come to the convention will go home shouting Hallelujah),
it will not be on the last day but starting form this first day you will start shouting Hallelujah. This time all who enter His gate will shout hallelujah.

In Isaiah 43:14, the Lord is saying “ I will work and who can hinder. When the Almighty God want to deliver nobody can stop Him.
(Daddy prophesying for somebody here today that even before you go to bed tonight you will encounter His presence),
but you cannot go into His presence unless it is open to you. The gate, only the righteous one’s will be allow to enter so that is why the blood of His son must first wash you clean to become righteous to grace His presence.

So if you want to give your life to Jesus, come and surrender. Daddy telling a story of how he went to Abuja for the first Holy Ghost Service and while praying in his hotel room, asking God to perform several miracles in the service and God told him to shut up and asked him when last has he praise Him rather than asking and then He instructed him to just praise Him for 3 days and after the three days multiplication started in the church.

So just thank God for your life and everything around you, just magnify Him in every and anyway you can until the gates are open unto you and He will bring a turning point in your life.

Go ahead and begin to praise Him, count your blessing one by one and He will open the gate unto you to enter His presence, Just bless the name of the lord.

RCCG SUNDAY SCHOOL STUDENTS MANUAL (LESSON FORTY-NINE) SUNDAY 6TH AUGUST 2017 TOPIC: THE JUDGMENT MEMORY VERSE: "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” – Hebrews 9:27 BIBLE PASSAGE: Revelations 20:4-15 INTRODUCTION: Judgment is imminent. Whether we believe it or not, we are going to give account of all that we do here on earth, whether it be good or bad, righteous or wicked. We will all appear before the One that God has appointed to judge all, Jesus Christ. LESSON OUTLINES 1. How many judgments are there? 2. The Great White Throne judgment HOW MANY JUDGMENTS ARE THERE? The Bible speaks of at least seven different judgments: 1. The Saviour on the cross being judged for our sins (Isaiah 53:3-5). 2. The believers’ self-judgment (1Corinthians 11:31). 3. The judgment of the believers (2Corinthians 5:10-11). 4. The judgment of the nations, when sheep will be separated from goats (Matthew 25:32). 5. The judgment of Israel after the great tribulation (Ezekiel 20:30-44). 6. The judgment of the fallen angels which are reserved in darkness, waiting (Jude 6). 7. The judgment of the wicked dead or the Great White Throne judgment (Revelations 20:11-12, 15). THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT The wicked or sinners shall face the white throne judgment (Revelations 21:8; Hebrews 13:4b). This judgment is not to determine whether the wicked will be in Heaven or hell (Revelations 22:15). Rather, it is to seal the eternal destination of the wicked in hell and ultimately the lake of fire (1Corinthians 6:9-10; Ephesians 5:5) because their names are not in the book of life (Revelations 20:13-15). It will be an open and impartial judgment (Matthew 7:21-23). Godless people and those who reject Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord shall face this judgment (John 3:17-18). Fallen angels shall also be judged (2Peter 2:4, Jude 6). Jesus Christ will be the judge. All judgment is committed to Him (Acts 17:31; John 5:22, 27). CONCLUSION The great white throne judgment is better imagined than experienced. If you are a believer in Christ, do all you can never to face it. QUESTIONS: 1. Mention the types of judgment in the bible 3. Describe the great white throne judgment.

Topic: WATCH OUT FOR LITTLE FOXES
Text: Song of Solomon 2:15

Introduction: Little foxes are besetting sins which Christians need to be vigilant of and avoid as they live their Christian lives. These sins come in cunny or subtle ways which on one notices, until they have crept in. May God help us to overcome and avoid them in any form they come in Jesus name.

Some Examples of Little Foxes
* Minor Disobedience - Gen.12:1-4
* Carelessness, 2kings 13:14-19, Ish.39:1-2
* Evil thoughts
* Lateness to meetings.
* Too much sleep, 2Samuel 11:1-7
* Procrastinations
* Laziness
* Too much talk, Jesting, Vain talk, Backbiting and Gossiping
* Failure to do good- James 4:17
* Unforgiveness and Malice

The Implications of Little Foxes In one's life:
* Death Rom.6:23
* Bondage - Gal.5:1
* Separation from God in Hell - Is.59:2, Matt.25:41

Conclusion: Little foxes spoil the vine just like a drop of poison causes death. May we not be entangled in the web of these little foxes in Jesus name. Amen.

PRAYER POINTS:
* Thank God for the salvation of your soul and for revealing to you the activities of the little foxes.
* Pray that God will deliver you from every little foxes in Jesus name

RCCG SUNDAY SCHOOL MANUAL LESSON FORTY-FOUR SUNDAY, 2ND JULY 2017 TOPIC: THE PREACHER'S TOOL MEMORY VERSE: ‘’But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God" - 1Corinthians 1:24 BIBLE PASSAGE: 1Corinthians 1:18-24 INTRODUCTION: We were made to understand last sunday that the preaching of the gospel is compulsory for all believers. It follows, therefore, that if this assignment is to be carried out cheerfully and fearlessly, and with divine approval, divine wisdom, compassion and the Holy Spirit, power must be possessed by any would-be preacher of the gospel. May the Holy Spirit teach us as we study, in Jesus' name. LESSON OUTLINES 1. Godly wisdom 2. Compassion 3. Power GODLY WISDOM It is God's perfect will to give wisdom to any who lack it and who will ask in faith (James 1:5-cool for it is the wisdom of God that can confound the wise of this world (1Corinthians 1:27) as it happened during Paul's ministration to the Athenians (Acts 17:15-34). Furthermore, the preaching of the gospel that has Jesus Christ as its theme always, is indeed wisdom because He does not only expose carnality but also impacts spiritual things (1Corinthians 3:2-4; 2:13, 16). COMPASSION This was the divine nature that was manifested in the Lord Jesus Christ throughout His earthly ministry (Matthew 9:36; 23:37; Mark 1:41; Luke 7:13). Gospel preachers can be likened to Pharaoh's daughter who came to the rescue of baby Moses (Exodus 2:6). We must take a cue from our Lord and be compassionate. His admonition to persecutors as well reveals this (Luke 6:28). When we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:cool. POWER The need for power in gospel preaching cannot be over emphasised. The Lord made an open declaration of this in His great commission to us (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:cool. Believers are to preach the gospel with boldness, for the Spirit of God is for boldness, love, power and sound mind (Acts 4:31; 2Timothy 1:7). This power will pull down all the strongholds of the enemy (Satan) and his agents, in and around both the speaker and the hearer, which may want to render the message ineffective (2Corinthians 10:4-5; Acts 16:16-18). CONCLUSION: Let us, as true ambassadors for Christ (2Corinthians 5:20), rise up in obedience to the command of our Lord and preach the gospel with compassion and power. His grace is our sufficiency (Philippians 4:13). Please pray to God and go. Tomorrow may be too late. QUESTIONS 1. The Lord Jesus Christ is what and what from our study? 2. Why is it compulsory for gospel preachers to be compassionate? 3. Give reasons for the need of the Holy Ghost power in gospel preaching?

Sunday 25th of June 2017. House fellowship manual Lesson 43

Topic: GO AND FIND THEM
Text: Luke 15:4-10

Introduction: A Good Shepherd will always be motivated to seek any of his sheep which has gone astray. Every committed Christian is a Shepherd whom the Lord has given the kingdom assignment to go after any of the Lord's sheep which are the weary, backslidden and discouraged Christian. May we be found faithful in doing the Lord's Will, Amen.

Why must we fond them?
* The lost Christians are vulnerable to dangers. Luke 15:14-15
* The lost Christians are still very precious to God. Luke 15:32.
* Jesus left us an example, which we must follow by His sacrifice at Calvary. Phil. 2:5-8, 1Pet. 2:21
* There is joy in heaven over a soul that repents. Lk. 15:10
* Failure to do what God expect from us makes Him unhappy with us.1Pet2:25
* There is a reward for us if we obey the Lord in doing what He expects from us. Daniel 12:3b

Conclusion: Every Christian is responsible for seeking after the lost sheep. May we all be found faithful to this assignment in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS
* Thank God for giving you abundant life in Christ Jesus
* Thank God for seeking you while you were lost in sin
* Pray that you will also go after the lost sheep to bring them
* Pray that every lost sheep will hear the Lord's call and come back
* Pray for the G.O. that he will not fall
* Pray for the G.O and his family that they will be victorious
* Pray for every true Christian, that they will not backslide

Please Note
