LESSON OUTLINE:
Characteristics of Holy Ghost Fire.
1. The Fire is Focused. The only duty of fire is to burn. Consequently, anyone who is to be the Lord's disciple must be focused.
2. The Fire has integrity. Every child of God, being fire, must be somebody of integrity. Someone whose yes is yes and whose nay is nay.
3. The Fire is solidly reliable. You can rely on the fire to burn in the morning, afternoon, evening, night time, rainy season, dry season or any time. Solidly reliable is this fire, unlike some children of God that are not reliable.
4.The Fire is pure. The fire is pure and simple. You will never find any gimmick with fire.
5. Your Fire is truly hot. When you are on Holy Ghost Fire, you will never be cold nor lukewarm.
6. The Fire is predictable. Fire is not like water. Water may turn up as ice today and as steam tomorrow and the next day as iced water, but fire is fire all the time. It is predictable. God expects all His children to be predictable.
7. The Fire is uncompromising. It is an aggressive, confrontational and uncompromising fire. Whenever fire comes in contact with something, it wants to consume it, (Hebrews 12:29). It wants to change those things to itself. When it comes to holiness, we must not compromise, because nobody can see God without holiness, (Hebrews 12:14).

The Importance of the Fire.
We need the Holy Ghost fire for:
1. Power to witness, and to move mountains. Acts 1:8

2. To be able to keep the commandments of God. John 14:20-21

3. Power to overcome the vices of the devil.

4. And for signs and wonders manifestation. Hebrews 2:4

5. To secure liberty/freedom for the captives. Isaiah 61:1

6. To bring light to darkness.
7. For all round revival.

Rekindling the Fire
Before asking God to rekindle the fire of the Holy Ghost, we must find out what extinguishes the fire, in the first instance, so as to avoid the pitfall of the past:

1. Carelessness. Matt. 26:41,1Kings 1:11-18

2. Comfort. 2 Samuel 11:1-25

3. Overconfidence. 1 Cor 10:12, Mk 14:29-31

4. Outright sin. Isaiah 59:1-2, 1 John 3:8

5. Oil leakage. Matthew 25:8-12, Lk 6:10-12

6. Indulging the flesh. Rom 8:8

SUMMARY: Your fire should at no time go off.

CONCLUSION: It is obvious that the most dangerous thing that can happen to a child of God is to once have the fire burning in him/her and not to have it any more. So not allow the fire to go out. Always keep the fire burning by supplying fuel as at when due. 1 Thess. 5:17

ASSIGNMENT: Engage in a day fasting and prayer this week and the prayer points below should be used in prayer.

INTRODUCTION: In Gen. 1:1-27, the Bible tells us that in the beginning, God created the heaven and earth and everything in them. God created them all; land and all the things subjacent (under the soil i.e. mineral deposits) and the superjacent (above the soil i.e. hills, mountains, rocks, forests, deserts etc). He created the non living things such as the sun, moon, stars, clouds, rivers, seas, oceans, day and night, light and darkness.

i. Everything is the hand-made of God.

ii. Silver and gold belongs to God.

iii. All the hand made of man belongs to God. He created all raw material and gave the knowledge to innovate.

LESSON OUTLINE

Features of His Creation.

1. God was very methodical with His Creation. He created first, everything that animals would need to survive and the water that would accommodate fishes. He did not create fish before creating water. Neither did He create animals before their food.

2. He established Orderliness and Coordination Right from Creation. He created man in His own image and charged him to have dominion over all His Creation. Gen. 1:26-30. This order was fully carried out by Noah when he arranged the various living things into his ark. Genesis 6:19-22

3. The Bible described the creation process graphically to debunk any false claim of ownership by Satan or his demons. Gen 1:1-31. Jeremiah 27:5a. Satan often parades himself as the owner of everything in the earth as captured in the conversation between Jesus and the devil in Matt. 4:8-10.

4. God created the heavens and the earth and purposed that it be inhabited. Isaiah 45:18, Ps. 147:8, Ps. 50:10, Haggai 2:8

5. He knows all His creations and calls each of the stars by name. Ps. 147:4. He knows all the fowls of the mountains. Ps. 50:11a, Ps. 115:3, Ps. 135:6, Isaiah 66:1, Ps.62:11, Job 1:12, 2:6

SUMMARY: God is the creator of all things

CONCLUSION: God is the true Creator and Owner of the world and its fullness. Ps. 24:1-2. Satan is indeed one of God's creatures and couldn't have owned the earth. He is an imposter to be claiming to own the world. God created everything in heaven(spiritual etc) and the earth(physical etc) Jeremiah 27:5a, Job 38:1-11, Isaiah 55:9, Job 1:12; 2:6, Prov 10:22, Jeremiah 27:5-8, Exodus 19:5, Psalm 100:1-5.

ASSIGNMENT: Mention one thing that was not created by God.

1. Father, thank you for the wonders of creation which is far beyond human understanding.

INTRODUCTION:
The journey to holiness begins with a total submission to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the leading of the Holy Spirit. God is holy and cannot condone sin (Isaiah 59:2) because everything about Him is holy (1Peter 1:16). Hence, believers are commanded to live holy in order to be like God (Matthew 5:48). To fulfil this mandate, believers must understand the reasons for holy living and the benefits that accompany it.

WHY BELIEVERS MUST BE HOLY
Our God is a holy God and He commands every believer to be perfect in His sight (Leviticus 20:26; Genesis 17:1; Ephesians 1:4). God desires to use believers as His chosen vessels to reach out to the numerous sinners out there, hence, believers must be holy (2Timothy 2:21). Holiness is necessary for a believer to do exploits and do greater works (John 14:12). Sinners cannot fellowship with a holy God (1John 1:3-7). The believer must be holy in order to be able to see God on the last day (Hebrews 12:14).

BENEFITS OF HOLINESS
A holy believer receives classified information from God (Genesis 18:17; Amos 3:7; Psalm 25:14). God builds a wall of protection around such a believer (Proverbs 18:10). He will also have peace with his enemies (Proverbs 16:7). He will enjoy divine blessings and long life (Deuteronomy 28:1-13; Proverbs 3:1-2; 4:10). Living holy enables every believer to enjoy God’s presence and to live forever with God in eternity (Psalm 24:3-5).
Other benefits include answered prayers (Luke 1:13; Psalm 34:15,17), secure future (Isaiah 3:10; Jeremiah 29:11), divine health (Exodus 15:26), supernatural prosperity (Psalm 92:12), victory (Deuteronomy 28:7), promotion and supernatural anointing (Hebrews 1:9).

CONCLUSION
Living holy must be the yearning of every true believer (Matthew 5:6). Always strive to live holy.

INTRODUCTION: God's original purpose for the creation of anything on earth is that such creatures will give pleasure to God by praising, worshiping and appreciating the creator, God. The very purpose of the breath He has given is to give praise to the Lord. In Revelations 4:11, the bible says all things are created for God's pleasure. It is often said that God's food is praise/worship of Him. Therefore it is not a matter of choice. All living souls are created, made and designed to praise the Lord. How much praise are you giving to Him?

MEMORY VERSE: Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. Psalm 150:6

All these are usually described by the pseudonym, " MR NIGER CAD". In all these processes , one way or the other , there is movement or processing from one place to another. If we sum up all these and they all take place in living things it means, there is a deliberate effort by God putting all these together to praise Him. That you can move, respire ,feed, sense your environment, grow ,excrete, reproduce compete and adapt within your environment, calls for praising God. This why the Bible has been well before biology canme into existence talked about a man, plants and the creations of GOD. Therefore, we you can perform all these characteristics of living things and yet you can not praise God, something must have been wrong.
7 Reasons For Praising The Lord.

1. Because, only the living can praise God. Your praise is telling God to continue to continue to keep you alive to praise Him. Psalm 115:17-18

2. Praising the Lord is a command; therefore if you are not praising Him, you are disobedient. Psalm 150:6

3. Any creature that does not praise the Lord, is probably telling God ' I am not fit to live' .

4. Praises is one of the greatest weapons used in the bible to bring down God's presence and intervention 2 Chro. 20:21-22; Acts 16: 25-26.

5. God inhabits the praises of His people. Psalm 50:23

6. Whoever offers praises glorifies Him. PS 50:23

7. Praises ushers us into God's Court. This is the inner splendour of His Palace after entering His gates with thanksgiving. PS 100:4
SUMMARY: Praising the Lord should be our lifestyle.

CONCLUSION: Your purpose of existence is to praise God every day of your life, ensure you praise Him every day at all times .

INTRODUCTION:

Simply put, the new birth is the creation of a new life in a man by the Holy Spirit. The new birth, also referred to as being born again, is to be born of God with His seed (Christ – The Word) dwelling in man (John 3:3,5; 1John 3:9; 1Peter 1:23). Everyone born of a woman is born unclean (Psalm 51:5). Therefore, to become clean as well as enlist as a member of the family of God, a new birth becomes necessary.

REASONS FOR A NEW BIRTH

We are all born sinners (Psalm 51:5; Romans 3:23). The heart of an unregenerated man is deceitful and desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9), and cannot be tamed by home training or secular education (Jeremiah 13:23). To live a godly life and have fellowship with God here on earth (Psalm 4:3; Galatians 2:20) and to make it to Heaven, the dwelling place of the Holy God, a new birth is inevitable (John 3:3-5; Hebrews 12:14; 1Peter 1:15-16).

STEPS TO A NEW BIRTH

To experience a new birth we must hear the word of God (Romans 10:9-10), acknowledge that we are sinners, helpless and hopeless without the mercy of God (Romans 6:23; 1Thessalonians 5:9). Believe the word of God (1Peter 1:25) and that God came in the flesh, in the person of Jesus Christ, to save all mankind from their sins (Titus 2:11; John 1:14; Acts 4:12; John 3:16-18). Confess your sins (Romans 10:9-10, 1John 1:9) and genuinely repent (Acts 2:38; 3:19). Accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour (John 1:12). Ask Him to come in and dwell in your heart (Revelations 3:20). You will surely become a new creature (2Corinthians 5:17). These are the crucial steps to being born again. Furthermore, we are saved by grace (Ephesians 2:4-9), the new birth requires that we make up our minds to live a new life in the love and fear of God (Philippians 2:12; Proverbs 28:18; Matthew 24:13).

CONCLUSION

The new birth is a necessary for all. Without the new birth experience, it is impossible to live godly in this world let alone reign with Christ in Heaven eternally.

BIBLE PASSAGE: Jer.32:17,27; Ex.16: 1-15,35;Ps.23:5

INTRODUCTION: The wilderness is best described as a place of wondering, stagnation, starvation and lack. It is a physical or spiritual journey that devoid of comfort. It is energy sapping without nothing to show for it. This was the experience of the Israelites when they let Egypt, immediately after they crossed the Red Sea.They pass through desolate and rough terrain on their way to the promised land. They spent forty(40) years in the wilderness as opposed to God's original plan of forty days but God still fed them all. Exodus 16: 35. The life of a Christian sometimes can be said to go through a spiritual storm( wilderness), and with this God still prove Himself faithful, by simply provide the needs of the people. That is why the Psalmist said, that even in the presence of my enemies, God still prepare a table for him. Psalm.23:5. Therefore it is true that amidst dryness and lack, and even surrounded by ones enemies, God can still furnish your table.

How God Furnished The Israelites' Table In The Wilderness. A Great Desert.
1. He provided manner to eat as bread. Ex.16.

2. He gave them quail to eat as meat. Ex.16.35
3. He gave them water. Exodus 15: 22-25,27; 17:6
4. Divine Clothing. He did not allow their raiment to be old and torn for the entire forty years. Deut. 8:4; 29:5.
5. Divine Wears. He did not allow their feet to be swollen nor their shoes to be old despite the forty years journey in a great desert. Deut. 8:4; 29:5.

LESSONS:

1. Never limit God. Jeremiah 32:17.

2. Man's memory is very short. The Israelites enjoyed many miracles from God in their deliverance from Pharaoh and yet they kept on murmuring/disbelieving His ability at every little discomfort they faced on their way to the Promised Land.

3. God punished the Israelites for murmuring/ 'ingratitude' .Numbers 14:27-35. He pronounced death sentence on all those who murmured that were 20 years above except Joshua & Caleb. He extended the period of wilderness journey from 40 days to forty years.
4. No man can reverse God's judgement.
Numbers 14: 36-37.
5. Develop an attitude of giving thanks to God whether it is convenient or not for your destiny not to be derailed. 1. Thess. 5:18.

CONCLUSION: Modern Christian may find themselves in the thickest wilderness journey characterized by stagnation in their finances, career, marital, ministerial, academics e.t.c but God can still furnish their tables even in the desert, until they get into their Canaan land. Do not provoke God to anger with murmuring rather give thanks in every. 1 Thess. 5:18..

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, please help me through my wilderness experience.

2. Lord, arise for me and furnish me with assorted blessings and end this wilderness experience in my life.

3. Father, please release financial manner into the wilderness of my economy.

4. Father, please rescue all your children from every spiritual wilderness.

5. Father, please serve your menu of overflowing miracles to all our Churches passing through wilderness experience.

6. Prayerfully ask God to uproot every seed and trace of grumbling, complaints and ingratitude in your life. Matt. 15:13.

INTRODUCTION:

Many people are lost and aimlessly wandering in the wilderness of life. Unfortunately, they may not realise their state of helplessness and hopelessness because the devil has blindfolded them (John 12:40; 2Corinthians 4:4). Thank God! There is a way out for you.

SIGNS THAT YOU NEED HELP

1. Insatiable hunger: Are you hungry? Not physically hungry, but do you have a hunger for something more in life? Is there something deep inside of you that never seems to be satisfied? If so, that hunger is for God and Jesus is the answer! (Isaiah 55:1-2; John 6:35).

2. Confusion: Are you confused? Can you never seem to find a path or purpose in life? Does it seem like someone has turned out the lights and you cannot find the switch? If so, Jesus is the way out (John 8:12; 9:5).

3. Closed doors: Do you ever feel like you are locked out of life? Have you tried so many doors, only to find that what is behind them is empty and meaningless? Are you looking for an entrance into a fulfilling life? If so, Jesus is the door (John 10:7,9; Isaiah 22:22).

4. Disappointment: Do other people always let you down? Have your relationships been shallow and empty? Does it seem like everyone is trying to take advantage of you? If so, Jesus is the way! (John 10:11,14).

5. Hopelessness: Do you wonder what happens after this life? Are you tired of living your life for things that only rot or rust? Do you sometimes doubt whether life has any meaning? Do you want to live after you die? If so, Jesus is the way out (John 11:25-26; 14:1-2,18).

JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY OUT

The reason you feel hungry, the reason you seem to be lost in darkness, the reason you cannot find meaning in life, is that you are separated from God. The Bible tells us that we have all sinned, and are, therefore, separated from God (Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:23). We were created to have a relationship with God. Because of our sin, we are separated from that relationship. Even worse, our sin will cause us to be separated from God for all of eternity, in this life and the next (Romans 6:23; Isaiah 59:1-2; John 3:36).
Jesus took our sins upon Himself (Isaiah 53:4-5; 2Corinthians 5:21) and died in our place (Romans 5:, taking the punishment that we deserve. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, proving His victory over sin and death (Romans 6:4-5). Jesus died so that we could live (John 15:13). If we place our faith in Jesus, trusting His death as the payment for our sins, all of our sins are forgiven and washed away. We will then have our spiritual hunger satisfied (Matthew 5:6). The lights will be turned on (1John 1:5-7). We will have access to a fulfilling life (Jeremiah 29:11). We will know our true best friend and good shepherd (John 10:14). We will know that we will have life after we die – a resurrected life in Heaven for eternity with Jesus (John 3:16).

CONCLUSION

The hunger that you feel is a spiritual hunger, and can only be satisfied by Jesus. He is the life, in this world and the next. Jesus is the only way to God for our salvation!

INTRODUCTION:
The Ark of the LORD in the Old Testament represents God's presence. The presence of God is supposed to cause certain things to happen, according to our memory verse. It is the presence of God that changes poverty to prosperity. However, in the New Testament, Matthew 18:20; Jesus said that where two or three or more are gathered in His name, He is there in their midst. Therefore, hosting the hosting the house fellowship where two or more people meet; the presence of God will release fullness of joy and many more blessings as mentioned in Psalm 16:11. Many members and ministers shy away from hosting the house fellowship centres in their homes,(just like David did initially. 2 Samuel 6:9-10); even though it could bring speedy answers to their prayers. They decline because of one or more of the following reasons

LESSON OUTLINES
1. Ignorance: Many do not believe or understand that every manifestation of God in the main Church can also take place in the house fellowship.
2. Inconvenience: Many believe that allowing people to their houses will cause them inconveniences, especially if they are the type that do not welcome visitation of the children of God.
3. Fear: Like David in our text, many are afraid of some of the powerful effects of hosting house fellowship like dealing with sin and its implications. 2 Samuel 6:6-9

In spite of this and many other reasons, some house fellowship centres or hosts have recorded divine benefits, whose testimonies are known and such benefits include;
1. Like in our text, house fellowship centres can cause turnaround for the host/hostess like the case of Obededom whose life was totally transformed within the ninety days of hosting tho Ark of God. 2 Samuel 6:11

2. It is a veritable outlet for evangelism for the church. The bible says in Prov 11:30b "...... he that winneth souls is wise".The miracle of Obededom's blessing was told to the king, and the news spread round to the extent that David now came for the Ark with his people and much celebration. 2 Samuel 6: 12-16.

SUMMARY: There is a need to host God's Ark in your home by releasing your house for House Fellowship.

INTRODUCTION:

Ingratitude negates the will of God (1Thessalonians 5:18). It is a sign of backsliding. Though people are ungrateful for various reasons, we must not be ingrates because of its attendant dangers (Romans 1:21-22).

REASONS FOR INGRATITUDE

The primary reason for ingratitude is sin which is as a result of spiritual blindness (Isaiah 29:16; Romans 1:21-22,28). Other reasons include:

1. Failure to take account of what God has done (Psalm 103:1-3).
2. Ignorance, foolishness and slowness of heart (Luke 17:17; 24:25; Deuteronomy 32:6).
3. Spiritual immaturity and insensitivity (Luke 24:13-16, Psalm 106:7).
4. Keeping of bad company (1Corinthians 15:33).
5. Pride, as in the case of Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 4:22-25,30-31).


DANGERS OF INGRATITUDE

Anyone with an attitude of ingratitude stands the risk of losing his/her blessings, salvation and ultimately Heaven (2Samuel 6:20-23, Luke 12:16-21). Ingratitude may be regarded as an act of wickedness. Anyone who is ungrateful to God is attracting a curse to himself (Proverbs 3:33) or limiting his/her blessings. Ingratitude is blocking the greater blessings of many believers today (Luke 17:17-19). Inability to access the presence of God (Psalm 100:3-4) and turning into an enemy of God (Romans 1:21,28, Numbers 14:2-4,11-12) are other dangers of ingratitude.


CONCLUSION
Repent and return to God with a heart of thanksgiving. Make thanksgiving a lifestyle.
