INTRODUCTION: As a child of God, everywhere you go, your assignment is to propagate the Gospel. Let people look at you and seek the God you serve. The time to live for Christ is now. Our service will be weighed and tried for what sort it is. The things that were done for God will remain and endure the fire. I Must Work The Works Of Him That Sent Me, (John. 9:4a). What are the Works?

MEMORY VERSE: I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.John 9:4

i. You have what it takes to work in the day.

LESSON OUTLINE
1. Preach the Gospel to all nations of the world- Matt 28:19a
The time runs swiftly, there is so much to do, a great load of work. The Gospel has to be preached to the ends of the earth. The world's teeming population must be reached for Christ. The truth has to made known.
2. Baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Matt. 28:19b
3. Teach them to observe all the things whatsoever I have commanded you. Simply put, teach them to obey my Words which is the Holy Bible. Matt. 28:20.
4. Your fruit should remain(applying discipleship, teaching of the Word, follow-up, etc). Jon 15:16. Acts 15:36 While it is Day. John 9:4. While the day of life lasts, for in the grave there is no work nor device. Ps 115:17. Isaiah 55:6.

The Night Comes, When No Man Can Work. John 9:4b
Night, as used above, connotes death or period of frail body due to old age. It is the time when we are dead or when we are no longer active and lack the strength for the demands of the ministry. It could also refer to the time when we are incapacitated by sickness or when we lie in a coma ready to die. Death can come at any time, it is not according to the alphabets or age or gender, for we are as the grass of the field. 1 Kings 2:1-3,10

SUMMARY: Now is the time to work.

CONCLUSION: We need to make full use of every opportunity while we have it, we should not fail to take advantage of the opportunities that are immediately before us. This life is short, it is but as the length of a day; a great deal of work has to be done especially Kingdom assignment, and death is hastening on, which will put a full stop to all our works.

ASSIGNMENT: What does the night connote and why should work be done in the day?

INTRODUCTION: Greatness denotes being above in all areas. Have you been trusting God for something and it seems God is not responding? Hold on to the promise He has made concerning your condition in His word, don't give up, keep trusting Him and be very patient. He is a covenant keeping God, and He will surely fulfill His promise concerning you. The bible says in Isaiah 55:11 that "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it".

LESSON OUTLINE
God the Almighty is the source of greatness. You can only achieve greatness through Him. However, it is impossible to please God without faith(Heb.11:6). Faith is the master key to greatness (Mark 11:22-24). Faith is built up by the constant hearing of God's words (Rom. 10:17).
Faith in God contain the seed of achievement and greatness. God has promised us greatness and His promises for us are yea and Amen. Have faith and plug into this promise. Don't quit even if there are little delays.

Holiness: If you want to keep your relationship with God, stay holy. I Peter 1:15-16, Habakkuk 1:13, Hebrew 12:14.

Patience is another key to greatness. It means waiting on the Lord for His time to come to pass. God has a reason for His timing. It might take long but it will surely happen if God has ordained it. Heb. 10:36-39.

Pleasing God is another key to greatness.
I John 3:22.

Obedience is another key to greatness. We must learn to submit ourselves to the authority of God. Isaiah 1:19.

Diligence is another key to greatness; (Prov 22:29). Diligence means careful and thorough work or effort.

Study: Nothing can take the place of knowledge. Hosea 4:6, 2 Tim 2:15

Giving: No man becomes great without knowing how to give. Luke 6:38, Prov 11:24

Lust: This is defined as a very strong sexual desire, especially when love is not involved. 2 Tim 2:22

The greatest enemy of greatness is lust. 1 John 2:16
1. The list of the flesh is the most devastating. Gen 34: 1-26
2. The lust of the eyes is the second greatest enemy of greatness. Gen. 3:6a. But this doesn't mean that the eye is evil. Matt. 6:22-23 reveals that the light of the body is the eye.

SUMMARY:
Greatness is God's thought for as many of His children can pay the price.

CONCLUSION:
God's desire for His children is greatness and good success, Joshua 1:8, but for our dreams of greatness to be fulfilled, we should not lose sight of our first love which is pur desire for God at the time we gave our life to Christ

CONCLUSION: How well would we fare in the business of the kingdom if we have the same mindset as that of David? The world would have been taken over by the Church within a few years. But our failure to do this has created room for the enemy to establish the chaos and other forms of religious bigotry that plagued the beautiful world which our father in heaven created for His glory and pleasure. Let us go all out to evangelize and teach the doctrines of the Christian faith without fear. The Lord will help us in Jesus' name.

INTRODUCTION:
In our previous lesson, we highlighted some misconceptions held by some Christians in some circles. We also examined some of the reasons Christians should be involved in politics from biblical perspective. In today’s lesson, we shall attempt to guide Christians with genuine intentions on how to be practically involved in politics and avoid the pitfalls.

HOW TO BE INVOLVED IN POLITICS
Christians should note that it is their civic right and responsibility under the law (Titus 3:1, 1Peter 2:13-14) to vote and be voted for (Deuteronomy 1:13). Therefore, every eligible Christian should register with the relevant electoral body in order to participate during elections. In addition, it is important for Christians to be ‘card carrying’ members of any political party of preference. By so doing, Christians can contest and be voted into elective positions or influence the choice of their representatives for elective positions (Exodus 18:21).
To join a political party, you need to get information. Visit the websites of the parties available in your country or the respective party secretariat within your locality. Go through their detailed profiles to know the party’s ideology and manifesto. Fill a party registration form and provide supporting documents/payments as may be required. A membership card will be issued to you as confirmation. Attend party meetings regularly and actively in order to be a voice to be reckoned with.
Christians aspiring for elective leadership positions should be sure to have a leading, burden or passion to serve the people and solve problems (1Samuel 17:29,34-37; Nehemiah 2:1-5). Christians may also prayerfully join or support an advocacy group (Esther 4:8,13-14) or form a political party with people of like-minds (1Samuel 22:2, Daniel 2:49).

THINGS TO WATCH OUT FOR IN POLITICS
Christians who are into politics, or aspiring to hold political posts, should be prayerful and watch out for pitfalls to avoid soiling their garments (1Corinthians 15:33). They should therefore:
