Politics / Re: Ebola Scare - Alarm After Vomiting Passenger Dies On Flight From Nigeria To JFK by FemoLondon: 12:06am On Oct 18, 2014 |
GenBuhari: I am not sure u really get why you are still blaming "white people" for Africa's problems? Who loots our public funds? Who has mismanaged all the countries they have governed? Who promotes tribalism? Can we stop blaming the "whites" for our problems and accept responsibility?? That's the first step in the solution. Have a read of the medical article I posted on Ebola. |
Politics / Re: Ebola Scare - Alarm After Vomiting Passenger Dies On Flight From Nigeria To JFK by FemoLondon: 11:28pm On Oct 17, 2014 |
GenBuhari:I enjoy probability, so I await your proof. Your previous post about colonialism is NOT probability and so has nothing to do with proving mathematically that Ebola does not exist. You should not use colonial ideology in describing Africa's problems. We as a black race in Africa are our own worst enemy. Do you see the Chinese or the Indians depending on the "white man" for their success ?? Please get rid of the mentality that Africans are still salves. It is no wonder you do not believe that Ebola exists. I hate to say this but it appears you still hold a mentality from decades ago that you cannot achieve success or reason on your own without the white man. My guy. You are a smart guy I know. Think lucidly and factually. |

GenBuhari:You keep beating around the bush. Present your evidence, medical or mathematically, that Ebola is a hoax. |

Sunofgod:You are wrong, what will kill some Africans is not the Ebola vaccine but their utter ignorance and in-ability to live with each other (tribalism). |

GenBuhari:Of course you or that lunatic nurse cannot present any evidence .... now you know why I call this "Ebola is a hoax" claim utter lunacy. Here's just 1 medical publication on Ebola hemmmoragic fever among the many:- http://jid.oxfordjournals.org/content/204/suppl_3/S810 There is a lot more evidence about the common flu. Please tell me that you are able to do a basic internet search for the medical publication evidence ? I would like to think that the fact that you are using a general Buhari ID makes you an individual that possesses intelligence. |

GenBuhari:She claims to be a nurse right? She also claims that Ebola is a hoax. That claim should be backed by medical evidence. If tomorrow I claim that 1+1=3 then I have to back that claim mathematically otherwise I run the risk of being dismissed as a lunatic. I await your evidence that Ebola is a hoax. 1 Like |

GenBuhari:the lunatic nurse has not presented a single medical evidence disproving the existence of Ebola. All that the lunatic has done is apparently made some ramblings about politics on FB. I await your evidence ... |

GenBuhari:Ebola a hoax and your proof is what a lunatic nurse in Ghana said?? You really are either smoking some nasty stuff or you need to see a doctor for your psychosis. Please present intelligent and valid evidence to support your claim that Ebola is a hoax. Do you also believe in mami wata?? 1 Like |

Health / First Case Of Ebola Transmission In The United States by FemoLondon: 9:14pm On Oct 12, 2014 |
There has been a first case of Ebola transmission taking place in the United States . This took place in the state of Texas in a hospital in Dallas where an Ebola patient was being treated. Previous cases have been of US citizens contacting it while they were in Africa. I think the US health authorities and government will be surely feeling the heat. Culled from the BBC News: : http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-29590832 A US health chief has said a mistake was "clearly" made by hospital staff treating an Ebola victim in Texas, resulting in one member being infected. The woman, who got infected despite wearing full protective gear, is on an isolation ward in stable condition, awaiting confirmation of her diagnosis. Dr Tom Frieden, head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), said a full inquiry would be made. He said 48 other people who may also have had contact were being observed. The health worker at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital was treating Ebola victim Thomas Eric Duncan, health officials in Dallas say. Duncan, who caught the virus in his native Liberia, died on Wednesday. The current Ebola outbreak, concentrated in Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone, has resulted in more than 8,300 confirmed and suspected cases, and at least 4,033 deaths. In other developments The health authorities in Sierra Leone say they are now treating more Ebola patients in the capital Freetown than in the eastern districts of Kenema and Kailahun, where the first cases in the country were detected European health officials investigating how a nurse in Madrid caught Ebola told the BBC they believe it was simply the result of an accident and the risks to the wider population remain very low The UN special envoy on Ebola told the BBC the number of Ebola cases was currently increasing exponentially, but greater awareness would help contain the virus 'Clearly a breach' Dr Frieden said a full investigation would be conducted into how the infection had occurred. "Clearly there was a breach in protocol," he told US broadcaster CBS. Jump media playerMedia player helpOut of media player. Press enter to return or tab to continue. Rajini Vaidyanathan reports from Washington The CDC investigation, he told reporters, would focus on possible breaches made during two "high-risk procedures", dialysis and respiratory intubation. The health worker who was infected has not been able to identify a specific breach of protocol that might have led to her being infected, he said. Education and training of health workers would be stepped up, the CDC chief said, and efforts would be made to reduce the number of staff treating Ebola cases. Dr Daniel Varga, of the Texas Health Resource, said the health worker had worn a gown, gloves, mask and shield when providing care to Duncan during his second and final hospital admission. Following a positive preliminary test for Ebola, follow-up tests on the infected health worker are due to be completed on Sunday. Police are guarding the apartment complex where the woman lives in Dallas as decontamination work is carried out. Officials have been knocking on doors, making automated phone calls and passing out fliers to notify people within a four-street radius about the situation, while seeking to reassure local people. No details of her identity or position at the hospital have been given, in accordance with family wishes.... |

Shouldn't the comparison be between the quality, variety & number of academic books, publications etc, instead of the sizes of the library buildings? LOL . This is what someone like sagamite would say: My state library is better than your own because it has a bigger building |
