Are you saying Sasuke has to be beaten to death to awaken the rinnegan? Did Nagato reach that point to awaken his? The appearance of a sharingan/MS/EMS/R has something to do with either hatred/anger. Now, for those saying kill your paddy and voila, sharingan go appear. Did Sasuke kill Naruto?

Madara hated his people for electing a Senju citizen to be Hokage instead of him, hated the 1st Hokage and even hated anyone who mentioned his name.
