Russia don't have the money for war I think..how can they survive when their economy is almost in shambles...

Any GDP improvement in Russia has been very small and not helped by sanctions and foreign misadventures like Ukraine, Syria, etc. Putin has had to pour money, resources and arms to prop up his puppet ally Assad who, at present, is unable to repay as his state is destroyed and bankrupt, owing money to Russia and Iran.

So I don’t think Russia could sustain a war like any of the true Superpowers of the USA..

Russia does not view Ukraine as a country, Putin has stated this a few times. Russia views Ukraine as Russian, but like a little brother, very condescending to Ukrainians.

Also Putin is afraid of Ukraine, very afraid. if Ukraine becomes a successful free democratic country, Putin's lies will be exposed to all Russians. Putin has stated the West is as corrupt as Russia therefore Russians do not need to embrace Western world. yet Putin has nothing to offer his own citizens. to complain about Putin today will result in a fine or more... No one is allowed to speak out against anything the government does...

Yet Russians are asking why they cannot have free elections like in Ukraine...
This has nothing really to do about NATO as the group is a defense organization only..
Countries want to join NATO to protect themselves from invasion by Russia... why would they want to embrace a nation that seeks to subjugate all citizens to the Russia boot?

Russia does not try to offer anything of value to other nations so that they would like to be associated with Russia. well world dictators want to be associated with Russia, but citizens do not..

Why is he trying so much to invade Ukraine?

If by any means Ukraine joins NATO, it becomes too well protected to be a wanted Russian target. That is what Russians are afraid of. If Ukraine were a full NATO member right now, all it would need to do is call for help. Russia would have no choice but to stop the war and leave Ukraine alone or come to a war with all NATO members because proofs of Russian aggression against Ukraine are endless, whatever Russians lie about it...

Ukraine is a sovereign state; it doesn’t require Russian permission to do what it considers to be in its interest... simple but the clueless Russia supporters don't understand Putin's evil mindset..
