Good evening all , please a person lost an expired passport and can't find no copy of the old passport , no photos , no details .

Please kindly help in providing steps for retrieval .

If the ECU ( brainbox ) has been changed, you will get the vin of the donor ECU when it is scanned and it will differ from that on the chasis .
* SCENERIO 2
if the vehicle had an accident and need part that carries the embossed Vin it may alter.

But in your case from your storyline it is most likely that the ECU was changed. No cause for worries If you verify the vin plate on pillars and chasis to be legit.

U can also verify and obtain printout of custom duty
to compare .

Good people of Nairaland, good afternoon, I have done the needful, paid and selected ikoyi , 32 pages , 5years , .
What I don't like is the interview date which is 3rd April.
Can I go next week and see if I can capture. I need it month end . Pls advise

Guys this is a followup on my passport renewal.

I got to ikoyi passport office by 8.am yesterday, everyone was directed to a large room where the P.R.O of the command welcomed us and made it known that it could be done from d comfort of our home .

After this meeting, I went to the servicom desk , where I presented my print out and payment slip.

The lady at the servicom desk gave me a form to make copies and attached 2 passport , photograph, photocopy of NIN SLIP , copy of expired international passport.

When I return d from , I was asked for my NIN slip , expired passport for sighting .
A brown file was issued and directed to a room opposite the servicom desk where entries were made and asked me to proceed to the long room for capture.
On the long room I was directed to a desk before the capture room, my file taken and returned after 20mins .

I was told to join the que for capture, while on the que , an official saw my brown file and requested for me to go inside and was captured.

After capture , you take ur file back to the lady at servicom desk and your are give a time frame for collection.

My take on DIY APPROACH@ IKOYI , ONCE U HOLD THE BROWN FILE , You are the real VIP.

U stand out because of the file, and u laugh when u hear people pay double the price.

Just be courteous and follow the servicom lead , ask questions when in doubt.

Ignore the interview date given, don't give room for fear , be bold and it will be hassle free.

I have a Nissan Sentra 2008, having a leak from the transmission torque converter seal , my kazzem request I change the ( agbada that houses the pump, is this the norm or I try see if I can get the same metallic seal thats on it . He say we can't get the OEM seals . Attached is a picture of the seal
