You can download and apply themes now without changing region. The only caveat is that there's no dedicated page in the theme store to access fonts unless you change regions.

Pls, i trying to update my Redmi 8 but am stuck on this 83% for over an hour now. Who knows a way out to continue the update without it starting all over? I have switched off data several times and equally switched on airplane mode hoping to remedy this issue but it's not working out.

I don't think it will resume. I recommend you download the recovery ROM and flash. Unstable network tends to cause this. Happened to me once on the RN7 A10 upgrade.

Call recording function now available on Phones (beta testing phase for now).

NB: It informs the other party that the call is being recorded in compliance with EU Privacy regulations. Also, you cannot start recording until the person has answered and the call has gone on for 1 sec at least.

Spies in the house that can't do without call recording, do you accept these odds as laid out by Google and the EU?

PS: They'll get informed on whatever device they're recieving the call on and whether or not your data connection is active.

Want to know what's funny, when they get the Android 10 update ask these same people to highlight 5 new features that's been added to their device. MiUI versions are always more important as they bring important Android features before the core Android system is updated. My Redmi Note 7 that I updated to A10 has no new feature that was missing before.


The impatience is just really weird. If these people purchased a flagship device maybe they'd take a flight to China to burn down the Xiaomi headquarters due to a delayed update.

There's no seniority in updates. RN8 Pro have received MiUI 12 but RN9 Pro is yet to get it, should we now riot? An update will be pushed to your device when it's ready. Region based roll out is another thing and that's not OEM specific. My friend's S10+ hasn't received the Android 10 update yet and he doesn't run to Samsung boards to complain about it.

Patience is a virtue. When the update is available, you'll get it.

The advantages the Note 9 Pro has over the 9s is the better 64MP main camera and faster charging (30w over 18w). Everything else is the same.
