I won't waste my data updating this shit

I guess you don't need Android 10 then.

Quick question, what were you expecting? I don't remember Nav bar being stated as a major feature of MiUI 12.

LOL. I knew about the lack of some features from the CN update. In the next two weeks, global rollout will be out sha so we move. I don't know why they removed some features though.

If any feature is not present it will be due to performance issues. That's why the MiUI 12 and A10 for device has been in testing since June. If they couldn't get as feature to work as intended it's best they get rid of it than it having a negative performance impact.

For instance only certain models with AMOLED displays got Super Wallpapers. There's a reason for everything. At least they rolled out A10 for the RN8 as well.

If there's any way to get the features working right, it'll be present in subsequent update.

I expected the new navigation, it's no where to be found here

The navigation bar? Check under full screen display. It's not available on all devices apparently.

Lol, it's below expectations, that's what I'm talking about... Ire o

You didn't know the major change in MiUI 12 was the visual overhaul? Sometimes we ask for something but we don't really know what we're asking for.

It is well.

This worked, I didn't receive the update prompt and it still worked for me
You should reapply that font or update it. I don't think it's fully compatible with MiUI 12.

I just got myself a Redmi Note 8 today from Huawei Y5

That's a good upgrade. I would've recommended a RN9 but the RN8 is still a solid device.

I don't what's up with my Xiaomi note 8 pro lately. I have been getting poor network signals on all networks just recently and I don't know why. Etisalat even go as far as bringing up H+ instead of 4G.
Any help?

I am on MIUI 12

All networks have been acting out lately even MTN, Airtel and weirdly GLO. I've had a full 3 hour downtime yesterday for no apparent reason. MTN even lost 2G reception at some point.

Please, I bought Redmi 9C for someone yesterday, but 9mobile SIM is not working.. It show Network sign, but can't make call and browse.

This complain is similar to another one here about 9mobile and Redmi 9C. He should do any pending update first and see if the situation changes.

It would be weird if 9mobile is incompatible with the device. sad

Update all system apps. Battery and performance is tied to the security apps that's why the layout and info are different. When you're done updating those apps, check the differences again.

Is MIUI 12 available for redmi 9?

Also which video player is the best for Android phones

MiUI 12 for Redmi 9 is tipped to start rolling out from Oct 20. For best video player, I'd say MX Player Pro, but best is subjective.

Wahala be like Bicycle.

It's just weird man. One of the issues with brand buying. You want to associate with a badge even though you won't enjoy the UX. From the question, cost of the device is not a problem so why not just purchase a device with similar power as you want from the OEM whose UX suits you?

Anyhow sha, like he said, "choices".

I don't think he does, my pictures and media files are above 10gb.

It all comes down to what you use the storage for. Most of my movies, series etc are on an external drive. Games and photos hold the most space on my storage.

That said, I think 64GB (with an expansion slot) should be the base storage option considered going into the next year and 128GB ideal.

LOL. Hopefully Xiaomi doesn't disappoint me but if the A10/MIUI 12 doesn't come before the start of next month, then that'd be some f****d up shit.

There's no ETA on that update so hoping for a release at the start of next month will just leave you disappointed. Since Stable V12 is currently available in China, I'd like to assume India will be next on the update list sometime at the end of this month or next month before a full Global rollout.

Update: From the Russian Mi Community. Fingers crossed I guess.
