I could say the same for NFC. They should have swapped that with IR.

They intend to sell the phones in more global markets, hence it's no brainer it has NFC which is mostly used over there.NFC >IR blaster.

I already alluded to the fact that the k20 is the new Xiaomi flagship, but if all u wrote there is all there is to the difference btw both, then I guess it's a stretch to say the SE is dead because of the k20 particularly since the SE is considerably cheaper.

You are getting it all mixed up, k20 comes with sd730 while the k20 pro with sd855. So it's logical to compare 9 SE to K20.

They are almost same spec by the way, and where the k20 has upper hand are almost superficial or features that an average user does not notice or even care about.

Besides, the k20 is still more expensive and the mi 9 SE is smaller in size. This to me is decisive as I hate big phones with a passion.

Isn't the k20 cheaper than the 9 SE? Let's face the truth no one will look at the 9 SE if given the choice between it and the K20. Bigger battery,better processor which will tell in real life usage and an average person cares about battery life sir.
