E2000:
[s]this is why I said majority here just talk for talking sake the Xiaomi Note 7 is more expensive and has a poorer GPU compare to the Infinix note 5. Meaning the in terms of value for money infinix is better[/s]

are you for real? Stop embarrassing yourself oo.

donbenie:
Are you for forking real,

You're comparing the Snapdragon 660 with Mediatek P22?

Really,

An Adreno 512 GPU to a crappy IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU?

For your uninformed information,

The Snapdragon 660 has Twice the Processing power and capability of the Mediatek P22..

The guy is a clown, he knows jack.

E2000:
Speaking of price to match specs at a good bargain the infinix is far ahead of the Xiaomi.
For example the infinix note 5 rocks a Mali G71 gpu, a 2.0ghz octa core processor, 3 gig ram, 32 gig Rom. Plus every other common specs are not in the bad range plus she have the most required sensors.
Many persons just come here to talk without proper understanding of this stuffs. You pay excessively for something u don't really need for example you will pay the cost of sensors you may likely never use on phones but personally speaking that does not make the better since most of the things you pay for you don't really need hence a waste of resources.
So personally price does not mean better since a vast majority never really use what they paid for because the most likely will never use this stuff.

So for me the Infinix is a better pick in terms of required specs for money I really don't need the additional stuff some Xiaomi phones may claim to offer for cut throat prices since I will most likely never use this stuffs hence a waste of precious resources .

Ohhh Good lord, please delete all what you wrote please.

bigdot1759:
Please to all xiaomi phone dealer here
Pls try and have a store on jumia to let most buyers know tge true price instead of high monster price tag from jumia itself
Most people donknow xiaomi smartphone isn't that expensive, if atleast 7 dealer from here enter jumia with ur price here then jumia too will do something to their high price tag.

Jumia are going to sell it at official price stated yesterday, those higher prices are from their different vendors. If it is sold and fulfilled by jumia expect the price to be the original retail price.

jboixxx:

who wants to sale he's neatly used Xaiomi now that redmi note 7 is 58k?

Paxziano:
Good day brethren

I'm kinda curious n if it's not too much trouble for those that went for the Xiaomi event, I wanna ask a few questions.

1: Did they unveil or discuss about only the Redmi 7, Note 7 and Note 7 pro? Or did they talk about their other products be it phones, powerbanks or electronics.

2: Did they talk about plans to have a major outlet that is recognizable or they just plan to have a stand in Slot and Pointek stores, any discussion on after sales/services etc

3: Did they entertain a question and answer session from the invited guests to have a feel of what the general public expectations of them is like and how best to inculcate it into their future plans

@fibonacci... You are most probably the only person I know that went for the event. If it's not too much to ask, can u oblige me

Thanks

Just the two devices they launched today. Nothing on repair outlets but they will most likely come up with a solution. Nope to number 3.

fantilopezzy:
guys pls i need help
honestly i want to upgrade from my note 5ai
and initially i liked the note 7pro but the price is not friendly at all
but now that xiaomi has launched note 7 128gb at 75k de price is very tempting compared to note 7pro
should i buy the note 7 cus i heard with gcam the camera is better than note 7pro and i can manage the sd660 or better still wait for note 7pro
price to fall
am a gamer and also like to take nice pics with my phone!

If you are a gamer, please go for the note 7 pro but if you feel the sd660 can handle the kind of games you play just jejely go for it, the price is too good.

bobo65:
Baba try Twitter, u might be lucky

Na so I @ leagoo Nigeria concerning their thread I was anchoring, dem no even do like say I msg them talk more of click on the link

U nor be social media influencer or celebrity na, lollll. All OEMs do this, they rather spend money on those that have numbers and "role models". Look at the ton of money Xiaomi India spend on Bollywood artistes and OnePlus India too, crazy money o. The game is the game.

acekid109:

abjisperson:
U Xiaomi users are just clowns....55k for a cracked screen phone?....mtcheeew

That should be the tempered glass, not cracked.

bobo65:
Let's be realistic
It wil take a long while for xiaomi to circulate.
Tecno Will still be selling well as the name xiaomi would need a while to gain grounds here.
Fero is a good brand, but e never still strong for here.
It's mostly nairalanders that patronize Xiaomi products.

Anyways welcome to Nigeria our darling xiaomi

Bobo I go fight you oo

2kurupt:
Truly fantastic stuff. But the pricing is expected to be this low sha, at least from my part.

Agama eyes on that 6gb/128gb note 7

You mean 4/128? Is there a 6/128gb variant of the note 7?

2kurupt:
Impressive. Please what store did she order from?

Tonke, i showed her the Nigeria pricing and she almost cried. 3k more would have gotten her the 4/64 against the 3/32 she bought last week.

See as thread full xiaomi don cause gbege oo.

genius43:
It is now you are remembering us abi?

make Una no vex.

2kurupt:
What's the update on the launch? I expected more than just the pair of Redmi 7 & the Redmi Note 7

At least the Redmi Go & other cheaper offerings should really set the competition on fire.

@fibonacci2526 why you blank us na? You're the official eyes and ears of nairaland in this matter na

No vex biko, I guess you guys have seen the news already. Fantastic pricing, unbelievable stuff.

My people!!!!!

So my sister's redmi note 7 that was ordered last week Monday (15th) got to Nigeria yesterday (23rd). Super fast.

IKON360:
I thought as much since 19th no change in status. Please between whenever its handed to airline and my picking it up, it will be before May 3 right?

Hopefully.

IKON360:
good morning my item isn't showing on any site, 17track, trackit and one other one but on Cainio global it has been order information received by carrier since April 19th...
What could it mean? I am confused

Still in china, next update should be "handover to airline". This your item movement slow sha.
