So my sister took her note 7 to work this morning and it seems to be causing all kind of troubles, her colleagues are in awe of the phone and ready to hop on board the redmi train. The kind of prayers she showered on me for getting the phone for her ehn, I nor suppose pray this year again.

Pls I need ur advice on which one of redmi note 7 pro and mi 9 SE global version to buy.

I really wanted to go for the mi 9 SE primarily because of the size, I'm not really a big fan of big screens. Ti me, the smaller the better.

But then, there seems to be very little review of mi 9 se everywhere it is RN7 which is making me hv a rethink.

So house , putting the 2 phones side by side, which one is significantly better in terms of:

Camera
General performance
Graphics
Battery life

These are the four major factors I'm considering before making a purchase.

If they are so close in these four parameters such that there is no significant difference BTW the 2, then it's an easy decision for me. I'll go straight for the 9 SE.

In performance and display the mi 9 SE is the winner and most likely camera wise.

I feel you should be choosing between the Mi 9 SE and the Redmi note 7 pro.

If it was Infinix and Tecno that launched those devices, with such awesome specs, trust me, it won't go for anything less than 80k.

The competition is now real. The emergence of Xiaomi in the Nigerian market now have prompted top companies to also slash the prices of their devices (check Samsung Galaxy A10, A20, A30, M10, M30 and the likes).

Infinix that priced their sd636 devices over 100k, if na them launch these ones na like 90k for the base variant(3/32). Infact they will say sd660 is a flagship chip.

Please save yourself the embarrassment, here let me help you; the Infinix note 5 uses a Helio P23 SoC, the Infinix Zero 6 uses a SD636 SoC, while the Redmi note 7 uses the SD660 SoC. Also contrary to your claims, the base variant of the Redmi note 7 (3GB Ram, 32GB ROM) is going for just over 58k, the same price as the Infinix note 5, it's either you are ignorant or just plain mischievous.

Chai! Don't fall my hands, saying the Snapdragon 660 has twice the processing power of the Helio P22 is an insult to the SD660. The SD660 has approximately 3 to 4 times the processing power of the Helio P22, everyday of the week and twice on Sundays.

The only Mediatek SoCs that are even close (but still inferior) to the SD660 are the Helio P60, and the Helio P70. Guess we'll have to wait for the Helio P90 SoC.
