Hello guys, I have issue with my VTU website, a new user who registered credited his/her wallet without making any deposit and has bought Air time worth thousands of Naira. How's that possible and what is the solution to this?

Kaduna-based Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has warned the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government against declaring bandits terrorists.
Gumi warned that Nigeria would stop existing as a sovereign and united entity if the Federal Government declared bandits as terrorists.

The Islamic cleric disclosed this in a Facebook post, on Sunday night.


He, however, admitted that the devastation caused by bandits in the Northwest amounted to terrorism.


Gumi stressed that despite the devastation, proscribing bandits would lead to severe consequences that will consume the entire country.

The Kaduna State government, on Wednesday, disclosed that no fewer than 888 people have been killed and 2,553 kidnapped in Kaduna State from January to September, 2021.

The state government also revealed that 720 people were injured within the same period.

Nigerian singer, Buju is getting ripped on social media again.

This time, he is being dragged for snubbing his biggest fans at the Lagos Airport. According to the Twitter user who reported Buju to the Twitterverse, he and his friends saw him at the airport and decided to ask him for a picture.

They approached Buju while he was putting his things in the trunk of a car and one of them tapped him. As seen in the clip shared, Buju turned hissed and returned to what he was doing.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on Sunday warned it may resume its suspended strike over victimization of members and non-payment of salaries.

It accused the Federal Government of victimising its members and tactically avoiding payment of their salaries for up to 10 months.

In a statement by the chairman, University of Ibadan branch of ASUU, Prof. Ayo Akinwole, the union said despite suspending strike on December 24, 2020 on the condition that its members would not be victimised for their role in the last strike, many lecturers were still being owed salaries of between two and 10 months.

ASUU stated that while members are back to their duty posts to work, the harsh economy due to unpaid salaries and non-refund of deducted check-off dues will affect productivity.

Akinwile said the government has refused to remit deductions it made to the account of the union suggesting it is a plan to stifle ASUU.

The Nigerian government says it is currently reviewing the January 18 resumption date for schools across the country, following the rise in COVID-19 cases.

The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, stated this on Monday at the resumed briefing of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

On his part, the Minister of State for Health, Dr Olorunnimbe Mamora, spoke about the ongoing enrolment exercise being conducted by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
