spiSeyi: So no married woman owned herself her dead and living body belongs to the husband here in Africa and that's why women are mostly buried in their husbands backyard and not in their father's house whenever they kissed the dust Real Men are kings even the SIMPs are sometimes called daddy That is not true for all culture in some culture the women in e dead are returned to their father's house for burial people like igala ijaw don't bury thier wives in their house they are returned to their fathers compound for burial BoldBrainz: With a face like that, it's no surprise the Immigration office is asking for her husband's identity so they can understand who was bold enough to put a feminist goblin in his home.

Christianity Etc › Christian Are Right Endtime Is Near by fightingdemons(op): 8:45pm On Aug 11, 2024 |
When the Bible 'predicted' the end of the world and gave out signs that will tell the nearing of the Era, it wasn't referring to the end of everything. It was probably about the end of the world that the church created. It was obvious that the lies would not stand the test of time. People are awakening and asking legitimate questions that the church can no more answer. Of course we're in the 'end times' and life isn't going to be easy for those who live only by the church, going forward. A new era is here and Nothing will revert it. There's more but I'll end here for today. Got it from a Facebook group
PS don't quote me ain't answering any of you Bye |

I can feel remorse for the Abuja protester that were killed but never for the Kano protester those killed at Kuruna yesterday or the day before yesterday aren't protester but thugs who only want to loot and destroy people's shop and businesses and any property that belongs to both state and federal |
Politics › Re: Hunger Protest: 17 Feared Killed As Firms, Others Count Huge Losses by fightingdemons: 1:14pm On Aug 02, 2024 |
17 northerner killed is not a suprised Anyone that has been in the north and have experienced a protest ,that person won't be able to differentiate btw a riot or a protest
Only in North or Kano from my experience that protests usually involves gora knife ,swords, and with the mindset of looting of shop and business. |

Culture › Re: Nigerian American Question: Are Igbo's Hated? Why? by fightingdemons: 6:26pm On Jun 06, 2024 |
bigfrancis21: It's a long story, a very long story. The tribal problem in Nigeria started long before Nigerian independence. Ever since the coming of the British, the Igbos started migrating out of their region in droves. Igbos are very migratory, as you probably know, migrating out to distant lands for economic opportunities to survive. You know Nnamdi Azikiwe? He was born in 1903 or so. Where? In Zungeru, up up north. That is, as of the beginning of the 20th century his parents from Onitsha were already living in the north. Being very open to change and western education, they took up many available positions the British colonial government had open, or established successful small-scale businesses and sometimes lived better than the natives of these foreign lands. Of course after a while, the natives would have enough of what seems to be foreigners doing better than them in their own land. It was also wrongly perceived as 'domination', that is the Ibo foreigner 'dominating' others in their own domain. However, from the Igbo point of view, they see it as competition and the desire to be successful, coming from a culture that largely emphasizes success, drive and 'ibu mmadu' (literally, to be somebody or to be successful). The Igbo were also in the English-speaking region of Cameroon (formerly part of Nigeria until 1961 or so) and the people complained of 'domination' by Igbos because they were everywhere in the seat of government and held strategic positions, mainly by merit because they oftentimes had the qualifications needed which the natives as of then did not have, and this seeming 'fear of Igbo domination' was the main reason English-speaking Cameroon left Nigeria to join French-speaking Cameroon, thus effectively destabilizing the Igbo hegemony in that area (Igbos automatically were no more citizens but foreigners and most laws were re-written to benefit citizens of cameroon alone etc). Even though, English-speaking cameroon today isn't having it any better, as they are being oppressed by their French-speaking counterparts simply because they speak English. Most of them speak English (with close to Nigerian accent), pidgin English, their native language and sometimes. French. These are some events up till 1960. You probably know about the civil war and Nigeria's history till today, however that 'fear of Igbo domination' still lingers in the minds of Nigerians till today. Other tribes feel if Igbos are not 'checked', they'd rise to 'dominate' others. The Igbos, on the other hand, feel they've been marginalized since the civil war primarily to keep them down. And it has been going back and forth ever since. Damn with this tour brief and simple explanation I finally understand the need against Igbo by other tribe So it basically fear of domination |

Putinofrussia: Onitsha...as tiny as it is was developed by Binis,Yoruba descendants,Igala and a few number of conquered Igbos used as 'tools'. Capitals are always bigger entities that is why it is not easy to develop them like tinier areas. Just like comparing a room with a stadium. Stuff the room with 20 televisions and it will be seen as filled..developed. Stuff the stadium with 1000 televisions,it will still look as if it hasnt taken anything. Why are your capitals...Enugu,Awka , Owerri etc not as developed as Ibadan. Especially Enugu which was the capital of the South Eastern region then. Shows that Igbos are bad in developing their region but claiming fake developers in another man's region. Oga raise the vawulence to power 10 |
