Hello house,

I have an admission to study msc in biotect and biochem in KU Leuven by sept 2016.
I have received the financial attestation letter from the school and about to start visa application.
Pls i need guidance on how to proceed with the visa application. Also, how do we legalize police report?

Good one bro, which one is financial attestation? Anyway ... All ur educational cert must be legalised, all official documents included, even d character report, cos d ministry of foreign affairs have to certify the signature. And note, you can only apply if u intend to leave in 3months time. Any other info you need just ask, though we are just about applying for visa too, I was at the service centre for application submission on Thursday but I was asked to wait 3months to date of departure and it takes a month to decide. Never d less all info needed are on vfs global site.. Anything else lets know, we are here to help eachoda.. Enjoy the weekend

Yes, it is... If u start today u should get their response tomao or so cos am going bck there tomao for result. Bt dunno if I wil still pay additional fee,Bt so far its still dat amount.

Please do not forget that after you obtain your police clearance certificate you need to legalized it before you can use it for visa application. Look at the sample above.

Wow Thank God on that..I dont know the difference o..all i know is that they are both accredited by the belgian embassy. I did mine at kamorass tho and they gave me my result sealed in an envelope..specifically by a Dr Omotosho or so stated on the medical centers for belgian embassy.. There address is 238 Muri Okunola Street, Victoria Island..Sorry about the pm..i no too sabi this nairaland platform like that.

Bro, the thing done dey tire me ooo... I am still on d language thingy but though I hv been scheduled for interview this week.. Hv done d police report thing..left wit medical...wanna do dat after the interview with the language school... It's taking like forever... Since last October ooo... God help us all...

Meanwhile, namebdis4 can't reply for now..he is back home in Cameroon ... He said he wont be on Nairaland for now till he gets back to his place of study... So chill for him abeg...

@fikki1 , you will be given a test like paper to complete and given an hour to complete it. Afterwards you will be asked in for the interview by a sceptic visa officer. Your job is to convince them that you are genuine and you have every intention of returning after your studies. You will be asked questions on the course, school, funding, employment etc.

I guess the two month 'tag' is applicable then.. Have you mailed the school? You can inform them of the issue on ground. Mine took 2 Months though.

Hi all ! My passport would expire on the 21st of August, 2017. Part of the requirements from vfs says that '' A travel document (e.g. national passport) should be valid for at least 15 months, in which a visa can be affixed''. The issue is I would be applying for a visa in June by which time the 15 months rule would not be feasible. Do I request for a new passport or what should I do in this case. Thanks

I would suggest renewal. That's my own advice though

The form is at the embassy, ur sponsor hv to go wit u n moreover d form is around 10 or 15 euros cant remember...let him folo u with all his monetary doc to convince Dem...d form must carry 'solvent sufficiency' or so after dey hv examined it...

Payslip..6months
Statement of account..12months
Tax clearance if he get company... N any doc dat can proof solvency sha...

@fikki1..boss i hail o, i just collect my medical test result today for Kamorass sef..am working on the police character cert and other docs like waec, degree, (national population commision) birth cert and transcript for legalization..Called the school today as regards the hard copy of the acceptanc letter and they said by next week..

Ok boss, bt please try and give d school an address dat has PO box ' cos of delay, d school uses NIPOST, it took dem 2months to deliver mine,until I changes address to polytechnic Ibadan,n I got dat in less dan 2weeks.. Anyway God help us all, just downloaded form for d language school,will submit tomorrow..how much did u eventually spend on d medical?

am sure of st francis(50k) d oda I really don't, and no I have not, still need to apply for d language school by April and by may or April ending depending on d school response will apply for visa, Bt I got most of my doc ready, except some few ones, which include medical n character report, moreso, I learnt from a thread, I think Germany or so DAT the character is best done in Abuja, even wen u apply in lag, its still sent to Abuja, so y not do all in Abuja.
police report, insurance, medical, and submission of all, after all, you will still need go to Abuja for interview, and pls can you confirm if one truly need ticket booking.. Hopin to hear first info from you oo, yhu are ahead now bro.. @name hope yours is gathering too..

firstly, say how much is the additional fee to be paid to the home office ?
Secondly, to proof that one satisfies the conditions for access into their uni, we'l have to arrange for another legalized copies of our docs as the original copies were not legalised yea ?
Lastly, guess it is apparent that the sponsor should earn at least 1,670€ monthly for sufficient means of subsitence.
Just want to be sur about these pls

yes the minimum monthly allowance for a sponsor MUST BE 1670+150 on each person depending on d sponsor...

so if d sponsor has a kid or two n a wife, it has to be 150 multiplied by d number of dependant...
