Mrexcell:until you see him in another skit video |
skit. content . content farming. or isn't it this recent internet we have to verify contents if real or scripted? |
We should support the movement fueled by the masses in Nigeria. Leaders have always been enforced on us. Where has it gotten us? If the mssess choose a leader and he messes up, the same masses will root him out because it is being powered by the people. Let the masses make their choice. Right or wrong. We will learn and do the needful. |
Kemetian:Honestly. This is nice! Very sweet and pleasimg to the eye. Even the overhead blue line is worthy of emulation . Infact , it is one hell of an infrastructure. My fear is maintenance. My happiness is always cut short when I see how this infrastructures have become in few years time. Oshodi interchange terminals as an example. |
seunowa:We have accepted godfatherisim as part of governance in this country. Don't you think it does more harm than good? Like you have to obey whatever your godfather says, if he says you should allocate this and that ...thr governor would. Well, didnt same Tinubu had a fall out with Fashola? Ambode and even our current governor? See a parter here? We should be able to elect our leaders and not by imposition |
The picture the op posted says a lot. See the type of police that went to arrest him. |
@Elock , @Okoroawusa Lately. It seems we just want to be fed with agendas . We just want to blame and point fingers at our opponents. , it's like we have been waiting for moments to say , "i told you so". If we read both posts of his without sentiment and with a clear mind. We will see that it shouldn't generate the reactions we are reacting. In his opinion. Nigeria is the best place to live in the world i f you have plenty money.. plenty of money he said . Now he said food items have gone twice high or more. Aren't we thinking that this is where the "plenty money " he is talking about comes into play? We can continue to fight ourselves at every slightest opportunity. One day we will all tell ourselves the truth. |
aribisala0:Honestly. It is either People didn't watched the video before commenting or watched but just want to push their own Agenda . He said it won't work because the world is leavinf old technologies behind and embracing new ones . That you cant use an old technology to compete with new ones. |
Kobojunkie:I am yet to see you agree to a public opinion or a post. You are always against someone, something , public and personal opinion. You are hard left. @ Bolded. The poster didn't even give enough details for you to come to conclusion about the men. Kobo. Please take it easy. It shouldn't be You against the world. |
Brendaniel:Sunday Igboho was going same route as Nnamdi Kanu. He got it from the government before it could escalate further. It was easy for the government to get such individuals like him, Nnmadi Kanu, Ekpa too. What i don't seem to comprehend is how difficult it has become for them to get these Bandits and Miliants. That guy called something the Yahoo that kidnapped a politician recently in the east hasn't been caught either. So, we first should look into matters with open eyes. Tribal sentiments clouds our judgement. It doesn't make us see the big picture . I am not dismissing Nepotism and Tribalism happening in government just asking that we don't let it cloud our reasoning first |
Sermwell:What has this got to do with the government? We just want to talk |
Kaa4:Good as it may be, you said. That sums it up. See, honestly at this point, seems we will accept any infrastructure being built, big or small or even inflated. You know why? If they don't built it... we wont hold them accountable. Infact we will still worship them . That's how bad it has gotten . |
AndroBlaze:Lagos is trying actually . One issue i have with the regulations are the fees( quite high) and ease of payment. Also, lots of corrupt officials exploit the system. Imagine that the " construction approval board " alone cost about 250k. Most bad constructions in Nigerian are due to compromises in construction cost and improper planning. |
Nairaland Frontpage has been reduced to this? Smh |
wink2015:But he is bothered about the fuel Tax . Will the citizens of Borno be glad to pay these Taxes ? We have to fix a lot of things first before all these |
"A house roof leaks on the bed whenever rain falls. Rather than fix the leaks, the home owner decides to buy another bed Instead of tackling corruption and fund mismanagement, the government is Highlighting a tax law to generate more revenue. What exactly has A Nigerian been enjoying as a citizen of Nigeria? Please let's be truthful . Is it power supply? SECURITY? Basic Social Amenities? Health care? Standard Education? Let's tell ourselves the truth. The government have been saying they pump money into these sectors, yet nothing to show for it. How do you think we will be happy to pay the tax? How? The VAT and others we pay for aren't put to good use. We Will gladly pay taxes when we see truly that our money is being used for its purposes and not embezzled. Even people who embezzled arent arrested ... Nigeria is a country |
Watch as grown men and women start fighting over this statement now. We have reduced ourselves to this. Asaba is more developed than lagos. Developed or not, doesn't it worry us that Nigeria is still a developing nation in 2025? |
esnbrutality:Lol conspiracy theorist . I actually outgrew that at the early stage of my life. |
sreamsense:This is what we have reduced ourselves to. It's not enough being human but we have to state the tribe along. See where we are getting to. "John, who hails from Anambra but lives in Lagos .... Micheal from Abeokuta living in Enugu ..." Is this how we want to be reading our news? If we don't put a stop to this now, it will degenerate into something else either sooner or later . Our Children and grandchildren will be inheriting and paying for issues they know nothing about. |
The "Imo" part is unnecessary. Of what use is that info? |
It's so much relief that we can use our card for international transactions again. Usage of Nigerian card was restricted to only local transactions. Crypto currency was banned . These were some of the actions taken by the former to stabilize the naira against the dollar. Well, did it work? Now, the current government have undone the restrictions former government had . Is it working? Hope you all see the government we all are/ were fighting ourselves for? The government is what and who we allow to be there . Good or Bad , we are always at the receiving end . Yet we won't come together under one voice and demand what's good for us all, instead we are fighting ourselves over tribe and ethnicity. Funny enough. When we finish the fights . We will go back to our insecured village with no power and high cost of living . Maybe one day, we will wisen up and tell ourselves the hard truth. |
Suddenly El Rufai has entered the goods books of people. You all call seee the politics we are all playing in Nigeria? Maybe we deserve the government. Ofcourse! We are the government. The government is just a reflection of our thoughts and actions. We let division , ethnicity, bigotry and nepotism divide us and then be expecting a favorable Nigeria. We need to Wisen up! |
See as we are being treated as 2nd class citizens abroad. Yet we are in our own country fighting ourselves rather than fighting the problem . LET US COME TOGETHER AND FIX THIS COUNTRY. |
callmeDDD:Lord have mercy!!! Why are people like this? This thing could degenerate into a full blown tribal war o. Just look at what someone went to say to spite a tribe? Tagging Elon Musk like he is his god. Damn! This is serious |
Reference:Exactly!! See what we have been reduced to. The people don't even believe the government can solve their problems. Maybe Government doesn't care or have tried and failed It's a big shame to Nigeria as a country. Later we will start crying of demarketisation when someone stares the obvious truth . It's when someone says it that it becomes demarketisation and not when it actually happens. That's the current logic. |
OKOATA:There doesn't seem to be any Milliary personnel there. The post reads that residence and community leaders met with Bandits for Dialogue. It's not today we have seen Bandits wearing military uniforms. Let's always check things well please. |
kokoA:During Dry season , let's revisit this post . The ember months are fast approaching. |
Obviously we didn't click on the link. People are saying it is a make up. |
Esthered:Exactly! What exactly has he done for his subjects ? During election, politicians will likely come see these rulers for votes from their subjects. It's high time we started telling ourselves the truth. They say, a problem shared is half solved . How do we solve a problem we don't want to believe we have? Every now and then, someone says the truth about Nigeria and we start shouting "demarketization" . Fix the country for God's sake and see if your country wont be praised to high heavens. Look at the Oluwo now? Was he paid to hype Canada? A good thing needs no adverts ...it will be known by all |
heracles1:Frustrated has nothing to do with this. Not everything we blame government for . This is clearly one |
Rest in peace to the dead. We all can see how tribal people decided to paint the event and hence the tension? We all can see what Tribalism could cause. If this wasn't done in broad day light, we would have been quick to assume and start fighting one another . Stop Bogotry and Tribalism. It doesn't get us anywhere |
