Apple is just a software company and source all hardware components from different phone manufacturers. Reason they lack innovation and creativity. Apple love for too much profits 50/50. 50% profits from each device will not allow them to produce it from us. Us made iPhone is not possible. If the Chinese build a solid operating system and Europe accept it. Then it's finished for iPhone. Just that the Chinese government like to control and spy their company data reasons why the world trust America. |

malali:thank you my brother. I’m not against building infrastructure. But that shouldn't be done with borrowed funds when you have to repay with interest. The south east needs 200 trillions or dollars equivalent loan to revolutionize production and self reliace on some key manufacturing items. That how the Chinese and south Korea developed. Not borrowing money to waste on things that cannot generate wealth and repayment. Look at the world bank for example they will not grant any loans that will make Nigeria a manufacturing hub not even the Chinese as all of them are protecting their interest. But we have to do it anyway possible. We need manufacturing state or estate closer to the sea. Free or cheap energy to kick start production. Access to good road and all other basic needs to start manufacturing automobile parts and electronics components even heavy equipment. In the next decade we should be reliance on some key items to challenge china dominance in africa and beyond. But here we are still talking about herdsmen and farmers crisis today. Look at the loans world bank and imf is giving Nigeria for example. Bole hole and money to be shared to vulnerable people. Senseless and rubbish loan to funds unproductive ventures and eventually the funds stolen back to their economy as they encourage corruption. then later on they will advice the government to remove subsidy. Is just like the rat that’s blowing your leg is biting you World bank or the Chinese will never approve any loan that will make Africa self reliance and manufacturing hub. Unfortunately we have clueless leaders who only think about winning or rigging next election. Higher price in energy means manufacturing is dead. And cannot even be competitive with international market. The Chinese are very smart and strategic with area where subsidy is needed. The western style we are coping today we have seen what happens to their manufacturing company in last decade. The US for example is now a dumping ground for Chinese products because of high energy and labor cost. The same style of government tinubu is introducing Nigeria into. Inflation, increasing workers wage, high energy bill and higher cost of general production. You cant tax unproductive and poor people to prosperity. You can only tax a productive economy to higher greatness. We have to follow the Chinese blueprint. Because the western style economy capitalism is already failing |
Ummm. Nigerian need to stand for it people. We shouldn't be quick to judge our people because this white people are not clean either. Trump is now trying to divert America attention away from the global news and economy meltdown they created. |
America doesn't have what Chinese needs that much. It was the reason the trade wasn't balance in the first place. But if it's in the part if the Chinese government to block out the US imports than trump might be right. Most countries trades with China is not balance either not just the US. The reason is that china produces more than they need and even cheaper than to import. Nigeria trade with Chinese is not balance and the reason why the naira and yan exchange deal never worked. |

Beijing indicated on Friday that this would be the last time it matched the U.S., in the event that Trump takes his tariffs any higher. "Even if the U.S. continues to impose even higher tariffs, it would no longer have any economic significance and would go down as a joke in the history of world economics," the Finance Ministry's statement added. "If the U.S. continues to play a numbers game with tariffs, China will not respond," it added. However it left the door open for Beijing to turn to other types of retaliation, reiterating that China would fight the U.S. to the end. On Thursday, Beijing said it would immediately restrict imports of Hollywood films in response to Trump's tariff increases. Earlier this week, China focused its sights on U.S. services exports, issuing a travel advisory for citizens visiting the U.S. and an alert for students considering studying in the U.S. state of Ohio. UBS analysts said in a note that China's declaration that it would not retaliate in kind against any further tariff increases was "an acknowledgement that trade between the two countries has essentially been completely severed". SEEKING TO BUILD ALLIANCES Beijing is seeking to rally trading partners to its cause. In his first public comments on the tariffs, President Xi Jinping told Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez during a meeting in Beijing that China and the European Union should "fulfill their international responsibilities... and jointly oppose unilateral acts of bullying", China's state news agency Xinhua reported. Xi begins a three-nation tour of Southeast Asia next week, aiming to consolidate ties with some of China's closest neighbours as trade tension escalates with the United States. Eric Orlander, co-founder of the China-Global South Project, said improved market access in areas like agriculture would likely be on the table when Xi meets his Vietnamese, Malaysian and Cambodian counterparts rather than "big free trade deals". "China's best offer to Vietnam is stability. Don't underestimate how important that is at a time like this," Orlander added. Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao has sought to get ahead of U.S. negotiators, holding video calls this week with his counterparts from the EU and Malaysia, which is chairing ASEAN this year, as well as Saudi Arabia and South Africa, by way of reaching out to Gulf countries and the Group of 20 and BRICS nations. Beijing and Brussels agreed on Thursday to restart talks on trade relief and to immediately carry out negotiations on electric vehicle price commitments, according to a readout of his meeting with European Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security Maros Sefcovic, meaning a truce to a longstanding spat could be forthcoming. A rapprochement with Europe would take China's trade war with the West back to a single front -- the U.S. "China remains open to negotiations with the U.S., but threatening and pressuring are not the right way to engage with China," the country's Commerce Ministry said in a separate statement. China raises additional duties on U.S. goods to 125% Beijing calls Trump's tariff increases 'a joke' China says it will not respond to any further U.S. tariff hikes and calls it a numbers games as it simply means no deal. China seeks to rally support among other trading partners BEIJING, April 11 (Reuters) - China hiked its levies on imports of U.S. goods to 125% on Friday, hitting back at Donald Trump's decision to single out the world's No.2 economy for higher duties, while dismissing the U.S. president's tariff strategy as "a joke." Investors had been waiting to see how Beijing would respond to Trump's move on Wednesday to effectively raise tariffs on Chinese goods to 145% while announcing a 90-day pause on duties on dozens of other countries' goods. The yuan slipped to levels last seen during the global financial crisis on Thursday but rebounded slightly on Friday. "The U.S. side's imposition of excessively high tariffs on China seriously violates international economic and trade rules, runs counter to basic economic principles and common sense, and is simply an act of unilateral bullying and coercion," China's Finance Ministry said in a statement. The tit-for-tat increases stand to make goods trade between the world's two largest economies impossible, analysts say, with import duties above around 35% wiping out Chinese exporters' profit margins and making American offerings in China similarly overly expensive.

Trump succumb to pressure and announced 90days pause for tariff and instead choose to negotiate with other countries President Trump said Wednesday that he was unilaterally raising the US tariff rate on China to 125% and instituted a 90-day pause on steep "reciprocal" tariffs on non-retaliating countries. "I am hereby raising the Tariff charged to China by the United States of America to 125%, effective immediately," Trump posted on Truth Social. "Conversely, and based on the fact that more than 75 Countries have called Representatives of the United States, ... and that these Countries have not, at my strong suggestion, retaliated in any way, shape, or form against the United States, I have authorized a 90 day PAUSE, and a substantially lowered Reciprocal Tariff during this period, of 10%, also effective immediately." The US stock market soared on the news. It's unclear whether countries other than China that announced countermeasures still face the tariffs rate that went into full effect on Wednesday. "The world is ready to work with President Trump to fix global trade, and China has chosen the opposite direction," Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick tweeted. Earlier on Wednesday, China said it will raise its tariff on US goods to 84%, and the EU voted to adopt a 25% tariff on a range of US goods worth roughly $23 billion. The China move came after the Trump administration followed through on a threat to add a 50% tariff on Chinese goods, in addition to 34% reciprocal tariffs, raising the overall tariff rate on Chinese goods to 104%. The tit-for-tat escalation essentially amounts to a trade war between the world's two largest economics. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/live/trump-tariffs-live-updates-trump-raises-rate-on-china-to-125-pauses-reciprocal-tariffs-on-other-countries-191201868.html |

1, The number one is access to cleanest water (bottle water) If you drink clean water for 1 months it will show from your skin. 2. The clean air. ( Nigerian is filled with pollution from the air and environment: experatment have shown people from filtered and cleaner air will look more healthy and fresh. 3. The sun. The heat from the sun and harched environment of this country can make people look haggard no matter there money. 4. Malaria, thyroid and other decease. When the body purge itself from all sickness it will become fresh. That why detox is advised and necessary. 5. Access to food. Especially Protein and vitamin is very good for the body. Nigerian and African food is mostly carbs and less protein. This makes them look haggard and suffering face in photos. Protein and food are cheap because of mechanized farming and subsidy over there. Anyone can be fresh in Nigeria if they live inside air conditioner 24/7 with cleaner air and best table water. Access to protain like chicken, fish and beef. Lastly rest of mind without pressure with good afternoon nap. |

Due to inflation many countries will try hard to make policy to save their economy. The policy is not targeted at American but export and import. Its a protective mechanism to put their economy interests first. Example is the iPhone which is seen as a luxurious item every year on each release. All Asia and Europe countries especially the uk have high tax tariffs on iPhone devices and other items they think its luxury coming from anywhere. But basic items and necessity are excluded from such tariffs. Like in Nigeria for example cars, whiskey, iPhone are among the list of higher tariffs imposed by APC government to control inflation although there haven’t been any result other than more inflation and high cost of doing business. Rich people don’t care about tariffs they will still buy it since they can afford it. It’s just the economy that suffers and the low income consumers. So the tariffs on America are based on certain items not all America produces. America manufacturing companies cannot compete with China. Most countries still prefer imports from America but the price is what pushing them to china. |
How did you managed to use the whole 50L? Did the vehicle off? Even if the vehicle off by itself there is still about 15L left to protect the fuel pump. Best way to calculate is to wait for the reserve lights to show then put fuel from new 10L gallon because filling station fuel is below 1L no matter where you buy from. Add Tina or injector cleaner to the fuel because of low quality and moisture present or dirty injector. then wait for when the reserve light will come on again. From there you can calculate. |
.after the second world war. The US ordered all colonial countries to give up theirs colonies for a new era. Which the UK and France control more countries they once had and the countries controlled by German was already divided by UK and France. And they went to take up the countries Japan was controlling and the US doesn't want that. So they came up with a new plan for their own interests. The United nations and a new neo colonial era. Dollar as world currency and reserved. Advantage to the US. They claimed to have the Gold reserved to backed it at the time which was true to some extent but not anymore. The US doesn't have the Gold anymore to back up the dollar. All they do is print more paper and do charity it was the main reasons the dollar keep devaluing as they spend more that their worth and reserves. The world back their economy with the dollar by using their economy and resources. But the US just print paper and taking up countries resources with politics and military forces in other to remain stronger. While the UK and France share Africa resources and economy in other to remain at the top. What is left for Africa and it future? It is the reason Africa remain poor because they are so foolish and their leaders greedy. They lack the education and rational mind, and useless in world politics. The ones that have the mind to challenge the neocolonialism faced with sanctioned. |
The way buhari slam high tariff on rice. Today how much is Local rice? If not for china that supplies iPhone, Android parts. Majority of people won't be able to afford iPhone and even people in America wouldn't be able to afford basic things like laptops and Smart devices. Americam company cannot compete with Chinese company in terms of Price, features and options even quality. The market will always favor china. It looks like china is the next world power. When the world accept the yan as world currency it would change the dynamics. |
The story didn’t ard up. No vigilante from the south will just tell you to come down and use axe on your leader. Something went wrong |

In order to create a stable economy so fuel price need to be fixed and stable while government absorbed the shocks. When it drop the profit goes to excess account and when it increases the money is use to cushion it. This up and done is creating economy instability. When it Increases transporter increases price and food items increase but when it decrease non of them come down. And after sometimes when it increases again they increase price again and again |
What's the point of the post. Did you change the transmission oil. And what happens thereafter. |
..the sacking was long overdue. When tinubu announced subsidy was gone. The guy never consulted the presidency before announcing the new pump price that throws the country into serious problems married with inflation. To worst it all. When they float the naira he also increased the fuel price without consulting the presidency. But claiming they are owning them unverifiable trillions of naira from fuel subsidy Whereas they mixed the fuel they import with ethanol. |
The least the senate can do is to suspend her. But trying to remove her is not good for democracy. |
