Celebrities / Few But Important Ways You Can Fund Your Music Career by Finepaparazy(m): 12:24pm On May 14, 2016
It’s one thing to have talent, recognize and
develop it. It’s an entirely different thing to chase
music professionally and earn enough money to
survive or quit your 9 to 5. Funding your career as
an independent artist can be rather stressful.

1. Family and friends
Family and friends comprises of your immediate network.
Asking friends and family for funds is one of the most
common ways to finance your career.

2. Partnership's
You might not be signed to a label, there are opportunities
for you to still make funds from partnerships with record
labels and distribution companies.
You can get sign a deal where a distribution company is
responsible for is distribution of the talent’s songs in stores
or online and collecting the money. You can also sign a joint
venture deal. When you hear an artist is affiliated with a
record label, they are most likely in a joint venture deal. The
label serves as a financial investor by providing funds for
studio time and song production.

3. Crowdfunding
This is not common with Nigerian artists but it’s something
you can try. Crowdfunding is a means through which you
raise funds for a project via an online platforms like
Kickstarter and Crowdfunder.
American acts Macklemore and Ryan Lewis used
Kickstarter to promote their breakout album. They used it
fund the music video for their single ‘Wings’. The platform
has also been used by already established artists. For
instance, TLC created a campaign to raise $150,000, it
helped that they had an already existing fan base because
they ended up making double that amount.

An opinion
Education / 9 Secrets First Class Student Will Never Tell Anyone About Their Success by Finepaparazy(m): 9:32am On Mar 12, 2016
(1) First class student don't read 24/7 : hmmm, the believe of many about candidate that bag first class honour sometime are not true.
You don't have to read from morning to Night before you become a first class graduate.
most of the first class graduate have a fixed hour for reading, between 2 to 5 hours everyday.
So, if you want to become a first class student, don't read for 24 hours..........

(2). First Class student Attend lecture : Yes, there is need to be in class always to achieve it and get it done.
Most of the student that graduated with first class can testify to my claim.
In the world of first class, you don't play with lectures.
If you want to have first class start attending lectures.

(3) First class student always want to know everything : there is a similar mentality on the head of many first class student.
Most of them will ensure all the topics discuss in their various Classes is well understand to the best of their knowledge.
If there is any topic they don't understand, they will always want to learn from others.
They don't mind to be your friend because of 1 single topic.

4) Cramming is first class best friend : No brilliant student can survive without cramming.
Although it is always advised to read and understand but if you lack the power of cramming, my dear say goodbye to first class.
Some student are first class but the manner they converse and communicate with people looks odd.
I have seen a first class student that cannot pronounce english words correctly.
The more you know how to cram the higher your chances of bagging first class.
Cramming and understanding works perfectly together
To know the name of your lecturer involves cramming which lead to understanding.

(5) First class student are Goal setters : there is always a vision for first class student.
Most of them will be aiming to Bag first class from their first year in school.
It will be too late to start aiming for first class in your 3rd year.
You must monitor your GP and ensure you keep pressing forward.

6) Be a teacher and first class is Certain : do you know that there is good reward when you teach others what you know.
It will make it very difficult for you to forget.
By teaching others you are building and increasing your knowledge and most of the first class student also have this attribute...

(7). First class student don't ignore the power of note taking and special notes:
There are many secret first class student will not want to tell you but if you study them closely you will realised where everything goes wrong.
First class student always tag some words, sentence or particular definition that comes from the lecturer which you may consider insignificant.
Pay attention to this and you will call campushost to celebrate with you on the day of your graduation after bagging first class honour.

(cool First class student have boy friend and girl friend. : most of the first class student will tell you otherwise but the truth will always stand.
Thought the failure of some student today is as a result of their relationship and friend in school.
Giving priority to your relationship ahead of you academic is insane.
You can have girl friend and boy friend but make sure your courtship is free from s*x Things that can affect your Academic.
Chase your book and not the female folks...
Don't turn yourself to romeo and juliet while in school.

(9) First class student Are Gifted : make we talk the truth, we must acknowledge this fact.
To become first class is sometimes by gift.
We all know Ronaldo is the best footballer in the world with only 2 legs.
Other footballer also have two legs but are no where to match his standard.
We can be age mate but not grace mates.
Some brains are design to cram and also save information.
Don't hurt yourself if you fail to graduate with first class degree honour.
You might be destined for something Greater.

grin wink kiss

Education / JAMB 2016/2017 Change Of Course Begins: Read This Before Changing Your Course by Finepaparazy(m): 5:37am On Mar 11, 2016
The JAMB change of course 2016/2017 is currently
ongoing,as we posted earlier, you are suppose to change
your course/institution before the JAMB closing Date.
The aim of this post is to help and guide you in other to
avoid mistakes that may not be corrected after changing
your course,so if you have not done yours, kindly take 5-10
minutes to go through this post before proceeding.
JAMB 2016 Change Of Course: Read This Before
Changing Your Course
Here are the things to not before changing your course
=» 1. O’level And UTME Combination

Many JAMB candidates do not bear this in mind before
purchasing their form, you ought to first confirm that your
UTME Subject combination and your O’level result tallies
with the required criteria needed to be admitted to study
that particular course since many institutions have specific
standard requirements for all courses offered.

=» 2. Avoid Changing From Course Not Related To Your UTME
Combination

You read the heading right? You have to put it at the back of
your mind when filling the form, imagine candidates who sat
for science-related subjects in JAMB requesting to change
their courses to a management-related course. There is no
way any institution will admit you into a course that you did
not meet the standard requirement to study. Avoid this
mistake and choose wisely the course related with the one
you sat for on your UTME exam.

=» 3. Choosing Wrong Institution
For candidates didn’t meet with their institution cut off mark
and wish to change, you better make sure you are choosing
the right institution, before changing your institution make
sure you know the cut off mark, and you are that you beat
the cut of mark. Also ensure that the institution are offering
the course you are applying.

A man identified as Lekan Daramola, in Oke-Aro area of Ogun State, has decided to cut off his weapon of destruction, after he was accused of serial rape.
According to reports, the 34-year-old man was caught in the act of raping his landlord’s 12-year-old daughter and after he was beaten, disgraced and paraded around the town, reportedly used a sharp kitchen knife and cut off his manhood.
This is not the first time such act is playing out. In 2014, a randy man who could not control his libido and went ahead impregnating three girls at a go, cut off his manhood for putting him in trouble

A neighbour who was a witness to the bloody scene, narrated the incident:
“This is not the first time brother Lekan was caught in the act. Just last year, he was nabbed while raping a street
