What browser were you using? Try using internet explorer for the download.

Greetings House, please i have a quick question i need clarification on. In the Generic Application form, Q4 asks "Immigration office requested for processing this application". Is it Accra? Got a bit confused when i read the guidance notes that says,

Indicate the name of the Immigration Office (/english/information/offices/index.asp) which serves:
your country of nationality, or
the country in which you are residing, provided that you have been lawfully admitted to that country for at least one (1) year.

Note: Do not select the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) as the immigration office requested to
process your application. Although you may be required to submit your application to the CIO,
you must indicate the name of an appropriate visa office using the criteria above.

damkollins: It's your experience that matters .....your degree evaluation will give you points to be eligible for your chosen NOC which you have experience in.
You are fine with the evaluation of your Msc even if it's not same with your profession.

Hello House, just received notification that my ECA report has been completed and will be shipped by close of business. that was really fast prior to the initial mail i received 2 days ago that it will be ready on the 21st of October. My NOC is 2131 and i really needed my Engineering degree to be evaluated as MSc was on Project Mgt., will it be a problem? Now i await my IELTS exam on the 20th of Oct. I'm impressed with WES, guess Nigerian degrees always delay the assessment.

NDDC is a big joke. Next year they will get budget for another scholarship scheme right. Advisable we take our minds off it. If it comes it comes and make preparation for next year. Deferring best bet.

ferdimako: N40,000 for one transcript? Na wa for ur alma mater. However, we have harped on it here that M.Sc evaluation will do. U can get ur B.Sc's and include to ur package to CIC. This reduces time and money.
Like now I have my M.Sc and B.Sc from one school, I will demand M.Sc transcript to WES for N10,000 and demand both for myself and that is another N10,000. Then enclose their photocopies in my CIC package.

What most of us do not understand is that in evaluating the Msc degree couple with the response to the evaluation response received,the Bsc has been indirectly evaluated.
Once WES are satisfied with details of your Msc degree,it's as good as already evaluating the Bsc degree.
Relax ....you are not the first.
Even if your Bsc isn't evaluated ,the equivalency of the Msc evaluation already made the Bsc evaluation valueless.
Unless WES requests the Bsc transcripts ,you may stop sending it tomorrow.......you may send also to clear your conscience .
You are fine .......please let us know the outcome when it's completed.

Thanks for your response, so much appreciated. I wish I could stop it from going, my school will never refund the 40k they charged me for processing and sending the transcript so it's best they still send it, but I do hope it won't delay the evaluation process beyond the date WES gave me. Will update the house when it's completed. Thanks once again.

I just received an email from WES regarding my evaluation. I needed assessment for my MSC and B.Eng degree, apparently the MSc transcript and degree cert has been received but my B.eng transcript is still pending as my school says it will despatch on Thursday, can someone kindly tell me the implication of this email;

Hello house, I just realized I didn't indicate my reference number on the envelope that contained my credentials I sent to Wes via Dhl. Will this be a problem?

Yes it does. Do I have to get the transcripts sent in first before I apply for assessment or I can go ahead and pay/apply for the assessment pending when the transcripts are sent WES?

ANBAKO: You might not be so sure. Project engineering can be virtually in any engineering field.
@ fingertips, please clarify which area of engineering you are into.

damkollins: 1.30th April,2015 is the closing date.
2.You need to evaluate your academic qualifications ....check the process for FSW WES evaluation in www.wes.org.
You will also write IELTS exam as proof of English .......you can register for IELTS with British council Nigeria.

Commendable job on here. I just came across this post after a friend urged me to apply for this. I have some questions;
1. Is there a closing date for this?
2. What are the step by step process involved granted I have B.Eng and MSc Degrees with over one year experience in the capacity of project engineer.

Dantidote: For me, after booking via mail i only got the date, account details, the bank to make payment and the needed docs to bring along for the test. they no send me form to fill sha....

Strange. Check again, four documents are attached, instruction sheet, Info sheet, IOM account details And IOM medical form. A completed form is part of the requirements needed to show up for your test.

GlobalCareers: Did your friend book through the phone or email? What info will they require when booking?

He booked via email, it's the fastest. No info just write them about getting a Tb test for your uk visa and they will send you some documents, instructions, a form you will print out and fill, account details to make your payment. Cheers.

cabaye: Lol ..it will be well very soon. just be certain that your name is on the list of scholars that be contacted. the worst case scenario is that even if they release the list next month, getting a visa and medicals wouldn't be a problem. cheer up

Getting medicals will only be a problem if you haven't booked for a date. As at today which my friend booked, he was booked for the 29th of August. Subsequent ones will be from1st of September. It is good we prepare and put other things in place while waiting.

I've been following this thread for quite sometime time silently, it's been very informative. Kudos to everyone holding it together in this forum. I just want to advise while one is still waiting, hoping for their names to be short listed, we should also make arrangement for the remaining maintenance fee to be in your account and start counting the 28days, that is if the award money doesn't cover everything to kill time. Most people have their latest resumption dates as September 22nd some October 6th, which will be very late by then to get your visas processed. I hope we receive some positive news this coming week.
