Although I would have preferred if he was the one asking by himself...Men go on an ego trip sometimes when it comes down to their swimmers and ability(inability) to impregnate their women.
Follow with wisdom and ensure he complies.

Have you done your own checks?
Yes mama. He is not on nairaland, maybe I'll tell to open an acct. I did mine and everything is fine. I did hysteroscopy and removed polyps. So now I'm great. Just hopefully his swimmers come up fast. God dey

Your sperm count (18million) and motility (40%) is low. Minimum required is at least 20million and 50% respectively.
Good thing you've abstained from alcohol, if you smoke stop it. Eat healthy, fruits and veges, exercise...buy manix, vit E
Thanks alot. Result is for hubby

My darling, you may or may not have adhesion. The kind or type of hysteroscopy and the experience of who did it matters a lot.

Yes dear you can very much get scars/adhesions from hysteroscopy. Some people don't even know they have adhesions.. their Doctor may not know too. Especially if they are not well experienced. That is why we all need to read up. Research is the key to knowledge my darlings. Read..read read and ask your doctors questions. Keep asking until you get the right answers. And ofcos, pray pray and keep praying all the way through this journey. We all need God.

I had severe adhesion when I had an operative hysteroscopy. A serious one at that. Thank God that the Fertility specialist/gynecologist placed me on wobenzym weeks before the procedure and the Almighty God was involved in my case. When I started having severe pain about a week/days after. I added serrapeptase. Intact the whole story is/was scary and personal.... let me stop here. cheesy
And the end of the whole thing God healed me sha.

Hello mamas. I just did hysteroscopy, and a lady told me now that based on her experience, she will advice i wait for 3 months before trying to conceive, because it can result to uterineadhesion.

I want to ask pls, is there any mama here that has done hysteroscopy too but has a different view? Pls eppp!

Our doctor didn't say to wait, but i also would like to hear from someone that has been in this boat.

Doctor only said, i should come back in two months do they can check if its properly healed, then my ivf procedure can begin, but i on the other hand wanted to be trying naturally, and the lady says its a bad idea.

Thank you so much.

Thank God the fibriod has been removed. Just stick with your clinic.

IVF most times doesn't go how we plan it financially.

Noting beautiful comes easy.

All the best sis.
I have come to realise this. Thank you so much

Hello mamas, I'm here again. I'll be going for hysteroscopy next week.

Please those that have done it before, what should I be expecting? How uncomfortable is it?
Thank you
Update:
I went for the hysteroscopy last week, i was placed on general anaesthetic i think, because I woke up 2 hours later.

They removed the fibroid in my uterus, which they showed my hubby. I have an uncomfortable pipe i have to carry around for a week before its removed.

The cramp is so much, omg.

Now they are saying before i begin my ivf procedure, i have to come for another hysteroscopy re check in two months time to be sure all is well, which i will be paying an additional 200k plus.

I didnt know it will take this turn, its more than I bargained for. I tried to use another clinic and i was told i will do all the pretest and hysteroscopy because they can only use their results.

Sighs, this journey is crazy, I have no idea what to do at this point. Lord have mercy

I had my successful IVF cycle with Nordica as well. Though very expensive, they know what they are doing. Now, know that Nordica will not treat you if you do the Hysteroscopy elsewhere. They will use their own results only. so, if you decide to get a second opinion, you must know that you will be unable to use it to continue treatment at Nordica.

another thing i note from my experience with them is that they do not give you all the information at once, maybe its their way of managing your emotions or keeping you in the dark, they know why they do this but i will advise you to ask them direct questions that can fetch you a clear and direct answer.

if the fibroid is in a bad location, you may have to do the hysteroscopy to avoid any sob story when pregnancy happens. may we not experience a miscarriage in Jesus name. i will say you seek a second opinion on whether or not you need the hysteroscopy. if you do, you can go back to Nordica and pay the high cost.

if you need more explanation into this, you can let me know. I will be glad to help.
Hello mama thank you so much, pls I'd like to contact you

This has been Nordic way of milking desperate TTC mamas. In some cases they cause them more harm then good. Personally I won't recommend that place to my worst enemy. I have seen people with worst review about them.

Had my IVF with fibroid and it worked perfectly well for me. It didn't cause me any harm.
Sighs... I'm already feeling milked and i haven't even started, pls where did you do your ivf with fibroid

Hysteroscopy is good but fibroid affecting implantation depends on the location
Mine was subserous and intramural and I had a successful cycle. The fibroid that’s affects implantation is most likely submucous
If you are doubting them why don’t you go for a second opinion and do sonohsg in another place to compare results
Success as you cycle
Thank you so much, pls can you recommend anywhere that I can go for sono in lagos?

I did hysteroscopy in Nordica, I spent around 300k. You should have told them to jump the sono and go straight to hysteroscopy. Nevertheless, just do as they say.
They didn't give me the option. They made the sono compulsory and the first step

Hello mamas in the house. So I'm about to start my ivf process with nordica, done all tests.

I was told i will have to do sonohysteroscopy, to scan my uterus for any abnormalities. Now they said they can find something there (most likely fibroid), and this can be a potential threat, even after i conceive.

So they said i have to do hysteroscopy to check properly and take out what's there, before i can begin the ivf process proper.

Someone is telling me that it's just a way for them to milk me, I'm a bit confused and worried. The hysteroscopy is going to cost about 300k +

Pls who has been in this situation? How did you go about it pls
