Royins: September is not too far especially if you engage in activities you enjoy, you can also use the period to make more money If you are built for hustling
Most schools don't have March intake, It will be hard to find ones that do (1) for your preferred course of choice (2) with an affordable fee and/or flexible payment plan (3) and not slow in giving offer and CAS, cos trust me, March is very close.
Hopefully you will be able to submit documents for CAS for ARU even after the deadline have passed
I wish you the best Thank you so much |

Good morning everyone, pls I need information on any school that is open for intake for February or march, that I can still apply to pls.
I’m about to lose my admission with ARU because of my passport, I have done capturing and awaiting the printed copy which I have been promised next week but today is the deadline of CAS submission, and I’m unable to submit without the new passport information.
September is too far pls, if you know any schools that I can still process for march, pls let me know |

Kayma2000: It is pretty common to bleed. Observe bedrest as instructed. Just take it easy. it will pass in a few days or weeks. Thank you so much, I will. |

Godmother: I also bled in this pregnancy. It started at five weeks. At a point, the bleeding was so much, with a huge lump dropping that I thought the pregnancy was over.
However, God came through for me and I'm over six months now.
Just observe strict bed rest like the doctor recommended. The hospital might also need to place you on progesterone injection if they feel it's needed.
You'll be fine, mama. Oh thanks mama, I’m on progesterone injection, and Duphaston also. |

Thank you so so much, this gives me hope Stenvee: Not me personally but I know some persons who experienced this and still gave birth to healthy babies. It's good that you are on bed rest because you need to stay off your feet as much as possible. Also try not to engage in baby dancing or any rough play with hubby for now until your doctor is happy for you to do so. Speak positive things to your body and baby, do not let fear envelope you. This phase will pass mama. Sending you positive vibes |

Hello mamas I am about 6weeks plus pregnant. I did my first scan on wed, everything was on point. Yesterday evening I started bleeding seriously, just kept dropping. Rushed to the hospital and I was scanned, said baby was okay but I needed to be admitted and placed on bed rest. The bleeding stopped after about an hour.
Pls anyone bled like this in their early pregnancy and still delivered their healthy baby. I have hope in God, just want to know if this happens. This is my first pregnancy and it took me years pls awaiting your inputs |

Pls I have a question, we are scheduled for TB test today, my husband is the main applicant. I found out I am pregnant yesterday. We are here and had a counseling with the Dr, she said the radiation can cause harm to the unborn baby, because of the light rays of the X-ray.
My options are - Go ahead with it, while they give me a covering for my stomach, but she said it’s not full proof - wait until after delivery (resumption is Jan - use the sputum alternative and wait for 10weeks for the result.
Pls who has been in this situation before abeg. Don’t know what to do. |

Please can you tell me the current price if their ivf cycles now? TIA How I wish too mama… God bless you. I have frozen embryo there, I’m doing a FET cycle. It cost abt 450k for freezing, drugs and transfer. I don’t know their current price now, as I heard they will be having a price review this January |

Wow mama, that was really expensive. Wow. Imagine all those embies... but thank God for His Blessings upon you MummyNeto: Thats very fair, during my cycle 37 were collected and 24 fertilized, we wanted to freeze and they quoted 430k for 6 months :', we had to discard them, how I wish I got a fair price like yours. It pains me anytime I remember it. I just thank God we got twins from the cycle, I don't know what I would I have done if not for God's mercy.( |

Hello mama, pls can i send you an email? Thanks Towerofgrace: No reason in particular, I was just tired of taking too many drugs and by the time I was ready mentally it was too close to when I started prepping for my ivf cycle plus my Dr did sonohystergram and everything looked good so I was cautious not to do anything to jeopardise the ivf procedure
I didn't use castor oil and for the life of me I can't really remember what I used, I think it was coconut oil cos it was not an intense massage, I was just very gentle on my body all through most importantly I prayyyeeeedddd and made confessions over my body, every drug and every thing else I did |

I was surprised too, because our challenge was male factor, so i didn't really put in lots of effort in taking supplements. My hubby was my main focus Uririandme: Thanks mama. Those ones you took personally few months before the procedure must have contributed immensely. But I must confess that such a fantastic outcome from just these three supplements is mind blowing. Congratulations once again and best wishes in your transfer. It almost seem as if once you make it to the transfer stage with primecare, your bfp is already loading. You're good to go already dear. Baby dust on you. |
Health › Re: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Fireandice0589: 9:03am On Nov 11, 2021 |
Yes you are right. Yes they placed me on vit E, folic acid, cyclogest, vasosprin, lupron injection, 2 weeks before my new cycle. Personally I've been on vit E, vit D, omega oil, few months before Uririandme: But I think it would still be much cheaper than a fresh cycle should one need to recycle in the future.
Were you on any supplements before the procedure? |

Okay mama, freezing cost is quite high, but we will try our best to do that. Omojudy: Could you request freezing of the embryos you wont use? 12 is a lot to just waste and it would be less easy to get high grade eggs as one ages. |
Health › Re: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Fireandice0589: 5:47am On Nov 11, 2021 |
Thank you so much mama. Okay, coconut water duly noted. Uririandme: I don't have experience with ohss. I just want to congratulate you on your good fertilization report. Having 12 embryos is awesome. I hope they all make it to day 5 blastocysts. I heard coconut water/juice (not the milk, pls) is very good for ohss.
Best of luck sis. |
Health › Re: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Fireandice0589: 10:43pm On Nov 10, 2021 |
Thanks so much for your response. Yes they are 5 day blastocyst. Which is tomorrow. Doc said he will run a scan first, which will determine if we will go ahead or not. Towerofgrace: I had ohss but mine started after transfer I.e late ohss, even though I had a successful cycle it was an unpleasant experience I don’t wish on anyone.
I like that you Dr is considering moving the transfer forward, that will give your body enough time to heal and rest. Ohss is usually aggravated with hcg so chances are that it will get worse if you decide to go ahead with transfer and then get a bfp.
Are your embryos day5 blastocysts? Though a frozen egg transfer cycle involves additional cost but it is advisable cos even with ohss you will still spend to treat it if you decide to go ahead with ET and the stress on you body and health is not worth it
All the best sis |

Oh great thank you for this. I'm encouraged. I'm using primecare too by God's grace nnennachiji: I used to live in port harcourt but cycled in Abuja after a failed cycle in port harcourt . It was not easy due to accommodation and I used flights due to bad road. It was in 2018 and was successful. So it’s doable Planning on cycling again next year and will be traveling from the States , so will be more expensive I plan on using primecare but my former clinic was fertilaid but they are more expensive now |

Same situation as you, only difference is that I've done my hysteroscopy and tests. Ivf and drugs is still at 1.8m. Reason I'm willing to go to abuja. I just need someone that has been in my shoes to encourage me. GMs: Good morning mamas. Please recommend clinics for me, I was at A fertility clinic on the island in Lagos and I have been so down with their charge, haven’t paid for consultation and tests amounting 270,000, the bill they gave us was 4,7M for two cycles and 3.6M for one cycle, and that’s way out of budget, The breakdown for one cycle is;
Hysteroscopy; 400K
FET; 850K
iVf: 1M
Drugs 833K
Additional drugs 380K
And other stuffs I don’t remember, please I need your help! Recommend clinics for me pls
I prefer Lagos but I don’t mind traveling to Abuja as long as it’s a good clinic with drs who’s not just about money but achieving result |
