Early exit polls show the pro-EU centrist is set to win more than 60 per cent of the vote despite his campaign being rocked by a last-minute leak blamed on Russian hackers.

Emmanuel Macron is preparing to give a victory speech at the Louvre in Paris, while Eurosceptic populist Marine Le Pen is still hoping to pull off a shock victory.

They were traded for an unknown number of captured terrorists after negotiations. The girls were brought from a remote area to a Nigerian army base near the Cameroon border. More than 100 girls are still held captive by Boko Haram. Many of the Chibok girls were Christian, but were forced to convert to Islam and to "marry" their kidnappers..
