KWSG Not Diverting LG Funds- ALGON Vice-Chair

 

The Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government Council, who is also the Vice-Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, ALGON, in Kwara State, Dr. Babatunde Salaam, has affirmed that the State Government does not interfere in LG funds in the State.

 

He made this assertion today while answering questions on a popular call-in Radio Program in Ilorin, The Platform today.

 

Dr. Salaam maintained that the issue of salary is not particular to Kwara alone, as it affects all the Local Governments in the country.

  

Dr. Salaam further reiterated that the State Government has not been fiddling with LG funds, adding that JAAC in the State has been transparent.

 

Furthermore, he added that the state government has been augmenting the LGs with funds, as well as the statutory 10% share from Internally Generated Revenue, IGR.

 

He, therefore, discredited the erroneous impression that the State government had been diverting LGs funds, thereby resulting in the salary crises.

Bubu took a trip 3x with "only" his people and returned 3x empty handed, he took it a group of "strangers" just once, ONCE and got lucky.. He only became a success because he took this journey as a collaboration.

2. He should please remove Adesina, a recruitment error that is taking up valuable SW space.. We have only about 5 spots, (ministerial is constitution, ain't no favour) Adesina is not representing us well!!!

So without Buratai there is no Nigerian military?. If he really cared abt d war against Boko haram he wouldn't have diverted money meant for d fight to his personal use.

And in a bid to exonerate Buhari frm d mess u mentioned dat Buratai must have stolen d money in d last admin. So u didn't read dat he bought d second property after he became COAS. in which admin did he become COAS? Don't be a sycophant

Buratai, not only must he be sacked, he must also be prosecuted and d properties seized.

Since this lying party started the activity of circulating fake news/propaganda to oust the previous govt the Nigerian news space has been polluted and inundated with fake news creators and unprofessional journalists who circulate them without verification. A very bad situation for the country.
