Any points I make will fly over your head. When some of you deliberately do so much violence to education by arguing so gingerly on these pages in support of a cheat, a certificage forger and a quota system General, I wonder how yiu expect to be taken serious by snae minds. Buhari is gunning for the presidency of Nigeria not Daura! A country of over 1 million people, biggest economy in Africa and one of the fastest growing economy in the world and what is his qualification? Narring! You guys are mean to this country.
cool temper... let see how the debate goes... smiley
Politics › Re: Barcanista, Obiageli, Omenka And Donphilopus Challenge PDP Warriors For Debate by Firefire(m): 10:49pm On Jan 23, 2015
A debate is healthy when both parties argue to moot each other’s personal opinion on certain facts or ideas. If

the debating parties try to manipulate each other’s mind with their ideas, then the debate becomes the worst kind of disputation. We can get

many intellectual ideas out of arguments and debate if the points are analyzed with a rational mind and debated in good humor. Debate has

been for long revered as one of the greatest forms of institutions made by man. - unknown

Politics › Re: Gen. Buhari Steps Down For Gov Kwankwaso by Firefire(m): 8:00pm On Jan 23, 2015
He also blamed the crisis on rumour mongers who begun accusing Kwankwaso of instigating the recent certificate scandal to ensure Buhari is substituted for another northerner which most likely would have been him.

He said detractors of the party had already credited Kwankwaso’s usual nocturnal meetings to scheming geared at unseating or eventually betraying Gen. Buhari.

He lamented that every attempt to get the national secretariat of the party to intervene has failed which has forced members to believe that the cult-like leadership of the party at Abuja is deceiving Nigerians with change as a slogan and may be up to something terrible at the end of the day.

Politics › Re: Gen. Buhari Steps Down For Gov Kwankwaso by Firefire(m): 7:56pm On Jan 23, 2015
Nevertheless, the party’s leader, Bola Tinubu, has commendably used his control of the media to paper over the cracks and keep the crisis

out of press light though it is not sure for how long this may hold. More so, the Kwankwasiyya adherents are also mindful of Buhari’s health

and are apprehensive of the toll a strenuous campaign schedule is taking on him.

Politics › Re: AGRIFEST 2015: Jonathan Okays N26 Billion For 2015 Dry Season Farming (Photos) by Firefire(m):
Agriculture is not crop production as popular belief holds - it's the production of food and fiber from the world's land and waters. Without agriculture it is not possible to have a city, stock market, banks, university, church or army. Agriculture is the foundation of civilization and any stable economy. - Allan Savory

Nigeria under Dr. Goodluck Jonathan is moving in the right direction on Agricultural Farming, Local Food Production and self-sufficient.

- Farmers Empowered under Youth Empowerment in Agriculture Programme.

- 1.2 million jobs created in 2014 were in the agriculture sector alone.

- Nigeria’s food import bill dropped by over N400bn from N1.1tn ($6.9bn) in 2009 to N684.7bn ($4.35bn) by December 2013 and continues to decline in 2014.

- Dr. Goodluck Jonathan had directed Central Bank of Nigeria to set aside N50bn as the agricultural mechanization fund.

- Dr. Goodluck Jonathan through the Ministry of Agriculture, had made available the sum of N4.5bn to support the provision of affordable
refinancing facilities through the Bank of Agriculture.

- Because of agriculture, Nigeria inflation rate has reduced. We are showing that we can feed ourselves

GEJ administration has marks another milestone in the drive and journey of Nigeria to modernize its agricultural sector
