vigasimple: The messenger you may not like but pay serious attention to the message.
Bhuari is a born to rule Fulani man. He is an expired drug not fit purpose. He has gone past it's sell by date.
What did he do since leaving office in 1983 to date for his village Daura or Kastina state. Charity they say begins at home or is it until he becomes President that he can do something for us to evaluate his abilities?
A responsible opposition leader or elder stateman will be seriously seeing to be working with the government or at least offer solutions to Boko haram menace and not wait until he becomes President which he may not be. Darkness cannot fight darkness |

calebo101: Yes he is, by a wide margin.
He revived the railways. He renovated the airports. Foreign investors are trooping in and setting up manufacturing plants everyday. Agricultural reforms are clear for everyone to see. He frustrated the thieves out of PDP to APC.!! He destroyed Godfatherism, Go and ask obasanjo . Political assassination in Nigeria is extinct unlike obasanjo's era. He is democratic, very democratic that his erstwhile ministers all lost their primaries except one! Elections are free and fair or at least a semblance, unlike the past.
And all these and more he achieved when the North are hell bent on making his tenure ungovernable. Imagine what he would have done if the atmosphere was peaceful like obasanjo's time.
Please remind me again what obasanjo did in 8 peaceful years.. And what buhari achieved with his military might as head of state (not PTF)? Let's juxtapose them.
And lest I forget, Nigeria had always ranked 1st or 2nd most corrupt country worldwide, we are now 33rd!! Just saying.... before you shout corruption that u can't prove. |

barcanista: 1. Why should he name the bank? Do you want to rob the bank or what? What made his borrowing a lie? Has any bank or the cbn debunked it ?
2. Can you give evidence as to your claim that he "allowed" his publicists to spread propaganda? Who are these publicists? When did they take orders from the amiable general?
3. Who found what to be false? When did you inquire from the military board's secretary? Can you provide evidence to back your claim or you got it from a beer parlor? He said something under oath, the PDP and FG could do their investigation and charge him to court for lying under oath if his claims happens to be false. But hell no, they know that they've got no case against the amiable general.
4. Buhari never wanted to contest in 2015, left for him he will retire to Kaduna State, but we the masses called him to run because at this point of our national life we need a disciplined leader like him. Beside, a change of mind is not a "LIE". This is simply change of mind!
5. People fortunes may go downward, upward or stay stagnant. Muhammadu Buhari only takes 10% of his entitlement which sustains himself and his family. He has not yet declared his asset since 2010, I am sure he will do so soon. That his supporters posts the declaration of 2010 does not translate to him. I challenge you to provide link when he did publicly (or privately).
6. Buhari is of impeccable character, you have no case against the General. Nigerians will vote Buhari in 2015. #APC #Change Can you please share the evidence of the bolded, pictures, letter of invites, etc where you invited Buhari to come and become change in this millennium |

Politics › You Are Not Fit To Rule Nigeria, Fasehun Tells Buhari by Firefire(op): 1:55am On Jan 02, 2015 |
The national chairman of the Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN), Dr Frederick Fasehun, has called on all Nigerians to call into question the antecedents of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Mohammadu Buhari, who, he said, had a history of negative attributes capable of derailing Nigeria.
Dr Fasehun made this known at a media conference in Lagos, where he opined that only a Nigerian with a forgetful mind would vote for Buhari in the next elections.
“The problem of Nigeria is not our politics but the fact that we forget too soon. We feel the pain of our flagellation just at the time we are being floored. Afterwars, we go about as if nothing has happened in our history,” he said.
Accusing Buhari of a number of misrule in the past, Fasehun said, “General Buhari has often been painted as the Messiah Nigerians have been waiting for. This is turning truth and logic on the head. For the avoidance of doubt, General Buhari is not the saviour Nigeria has been waiting for. The truth is that under Buhari's "Holier-Than-Thou" facade lurks a smelly throat of evil.”
Accusing the retired Army General of being responsible for the spate of insurgency in the country, Fasehun, who is also the factional leader of the Odua People’s Congress (OPC), further alleged that when Buhari lost the 2011 polls, he threatened to make the country ''ungovernable'' for President Goodluck Jonathan. This, according to him, was the genesis of insurgency in the country.
Challenging Buhari to showcase his achievements since his retirement from the military, Dr Fasehun insisted that only a man who had garnered enough experience even after retirement was worthy of leading the country.
“What economic credentials can Buhari flaunt today? What industry has he engaged in since he retired from the Army 29 years ago, to show that he has a hands-on experience to manage men and enterprises? Even in politics, his most visible pastime, what amount of success has he recorded?” he asked. http://www.tribune.com.ng/news/news-headlines/item/25645-you-are-not-fit-to-rule-nigeria-fasehun-tells-buhari |

OGUN STATE: Timothy Ibitoye, who before now was the REC in Kwara State, is from Osun State. He assumed office as the REC in Kwara State in 2010, after which he conducted the 2011 governorship elections that ushered in Abdulfatah Ahmed as the state governor. Since the state is not known for rancorous transfer of power, his four-year tenure in Kwara was bereft of controversies. OSUN STATE: The Oyo State born Ogunmola, is resuming in a state where his predecessor was virtually in the eye of the storm while he presided over INEC .The man he succeeded was enmeshed in controversy leading to demand by major opposition parties that he be redeployed over allegations of partisanship. He hails from Oyo State LAGOS STATE: The man, who will supervise the 2015 elections in one of flashpoints of the opposition, is an indigine of Ogun State. Prior to his secondment to oversee the exercise in the most priced state in Nigeria, Akin Orebiyi had been the REC in Ondo State, where he successfully conducted the election of Olusegun Mimiko. The product of Olivet High School, Oyo, also conducted the contentious Ilaje/Ese-Odo House of Representatives by-election. EKITI: Mr. Sam Olumeku, who hails from Ondo State, was the REC in Ogun state before his redeployment to Ekiti State. He has assumed the mantle of leadership in a state, where the immediate past REC is famed for conducting one of most credible governorship elections in the country. With such template, expectations of an unquestionable performance from him, are widespread. But the state’s sobriquet of a theatre of political absurdities, may naturally place Olumeku in the eye of the storm. ONDO STATE: From the comfort zone of Kogi, Mr. Segun Agbaje was temporarily moved to Osun, where he conducted the last governorship election. His interim leadership of INEC in that state, was a fallout of stringent calls for the replacement of Akeju ahead of the gubernatorial polls. Agbaje consequently, resumed duty in Osun State in July as directed by INEC headquarters in Abuja. His supervision of the August 9, 2014 exercise, was not devoid of complaints, as the PDP candidate, Oyiola Omisore alleged that the election was flawed. ‘’We affirm that the announced outcome of the August 9, 2014 gubernatorial election in Osun State are not a true reflection of the votes cast in the election, and rejected in all its entirety. We shall seek to retrieve our stolen mandate that was freely given to our candidate and party, using legal means as provided for by both the constitution and electoral laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” Omisore alleged. He hails from Ekiti State. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/01/2015-elections-men-wholl-decide-fate-contestants-swest/ |
